This game WOW this game can not even be summed up in words. I started playing this game at my house. I am on vacation right now though. It is agonizing that i can not play it here. any way in all of my time being here which is almost a year now i have not seen a single flash game this great ever on this sit or any other site. The story is perfect. The monsters are inventive and funny like the mini boss called molester in the dark temple. Hah! who comes up with that kind of stuff anyway. Very suspenseful and addictive. Cant wait for chapter four! Oh and very good secret bosses. Karnos and Animus are very hard but they are beatable. The walkthrough were excellent too. 100/10 Epic and i really do think that this game will attract many people

i'm not hating,this game is trully is amazing all 3 chapters of it,but the control is really stupid you shoulda made controls same as on Sonic,with a mouse its much easier...

Very great game. I played through the first two, old "new" parts within two days or so, and it's getting better and better. Thanks a lot for making this, and even though I'm not close to being through the whole thing, I already hope that chapter 4 might be on it's way... Thanks and keep it up!

Game is awesome, but I need help :) In water temple, i cannot get from the hub room to the south-east room, as there is a moonstone gate. In the walkthrough it says I need to go THROUGH the south-east room to flip the moonstone switch. Looks too me as a dead end...

OMFG why can you use phoenix downs on non KO'ed characters, an auto selection to a KO'ed player and ONLY KO'ed players would be nice thanks

Wtf haha. the second security guy asked what i would do if he threatened me i said laugh and i get a level 50 security demon to deal with haha glad i saved. Very funny game

i skiped the second one but i say this is a lil like final fantasy but it still has its owndistinctiveness too at the same time i like how you did that not many ppl can make a game sortof like another but still haveing many unlikeing things to it.

Simply the best flash game ever made 5 stars, Pseudolonewolf is so awesome i love how there is humor in all your games.Dont worry about haters because your work is so amazing that they have the defend final fantasy ,enchanted arms etc.Congratulations on your success Pseudolonewolf, no lie you are the best game developer ever all i have to say is that this game is very much worth the wait.And i didnt mine waiting anyways because i was playin all your other raider 2 I really hope that you work on beast hunter because if you do will be the best flash game you ever developed in my opinion, to me beast hunter is a upgraded version of pokemon.Keep up the fascinating work but for now you should take a break first.

Absolutely fantastic game 5/5. I also went back and replayed the first two just for some hazy promise of bonuses.
One major complaint about the new UI: The combination between mouse and keyboard in the menus feels really awkward. If the menu's going to require a mouse anyway, you might as well allow us to click on options and to confirm using the mouse.

It is a good game, of course.
It's incredible that after the amount of time and effort involved in developing this, something as basic as putting the menu bar on the side corresponding to the focus control keys was overlooked.
Almost everything the makes the game interesting has to be done via the menu, and it is awkward enough without being backwards.
I had a list of more interesting comments and suggestions, but that one oversight tells me not to bother.

How accurate is the drop table in the Bestiary? I've killed 200 thugs, which should mean the Bandit Leather had a 86.6% of dropping. Is the chance <1% or am I just unlucky?

As a big fan of classic RPGs as well as the newer ones, I really loved the little jokes and easter eggs you threw into this game. And on top of that, it's an amazing game itself! I don't think I've put more hours into any game on Kongregate than I have into the Mardek series. Kudos to you, pseudolonewolf, and I hope you continue this game series. It's absolutely phenomenal!

So, how do I actually use an item? I'm trying to get to the water temple, and I have the oxystuff, but I don't know how to use it from my inventory to get the breathing skills. Please toss a shout on my userpage if you know the answer.

Lufia is good, but this is a free flash game that's real fun. If you hate the "reaction bar" then don't use any of the reactions, its actually easy to get it right though. Plus it helps a lot in boss fights. Btw, I've played Lufia, and I still would rate this game 5/5. Another thing, I bet only one or a handful of people worked on this game. Lufia was made by an entire team of developers.

i can't believe this game is FREE. truly impressive work, and as an old skool gamer i appreciate the little touches. character appearance really improved from the last game- far larger range of looks. 5/5

@Xmas1234 It's going to be rather difficult to get Lufia short of emulation. I liked the dialogue and the jokes in this game. If the reaction bar thingy bugs you a lot, you can just uncheck all of the skills that use it.

Hi there ive rated this game 2/5 not because i think its really bad, but because i think its no fun. The main reason is ive playes Lufia on SNES and it was way way better than this. There where tons of small fun riddles (way too less in this game). Every room looked unique, in this game everything looks the same and while fighting this "critbar" that pops up on approximetly every attack keeps annoying you. Its sad but if you think this game rocks ... then go get Lufia on snes and youll agree that it doesnt.

During battle, you can find the status and resistances of the monsters by clicking their health bar (at the top of the screen).

Xerthil You can find the resistance in the bestiary in Encyclopaedia. My light damage is working again except for against the Monochrones and I still don't know why? It may be that they are very resistant to the physical attack when I use my light sword but I really don't know.

Some of those monsters are very resistant to Physical Attacks. (This is from experience) Btw, how did you figure out how resistant they are?

I think i noticed a problem in the Dark Temple. When you are going against any the the dark monsters it will say they have a 100% weakness to light but when I attack with Mardek and he is using a light weapon I only end up doing around 40 damage or less. I don't no if something just messed up or if it is supposed to be like that for some reason?

GREAT GAME but we could all tell that Mardek's child friend (cant remeber name somthing like Daugan not sure) was the one behind the "doggy mask".... its sooo CLICHE that he would live from falling out of the battleship

I liked the first two chapters, but I'm facing huge lag problems whenever i enter into a battle.
I tried disabling everything from the options, but I can't attack at all.

I would prefer to have an explanation on the story of the previous chapters. Don't get me wrong, long stories are fine; the problem is, getting through the entire game can be time consuming. I played the first chapter through(pretty short) and attempted to play the second, but setbacks such as the save file problem(not sure if it has been fixed, long time since I checked) and many others prevented me from getting very far. So I would really appreciate having an explanation, however short or long it may be, as to the previous events in the saga.

The best flash game i have ever played. Its lenghty and feels just like Final Fantasy 9, which was one of my favorites, and just plain awesome. The mastery system is awesome and fun. Keep up the good work man. Also the haters should just stop playing rpgs if they dont even like a masterpiece such as this game. :D

this game is great, plenty to do and as of yet no mistakes. it makes no sense when people say this is a rip off. there was a lot of work put into this game and it shows. 5/5 for sure!
