Just one question before starting playing.
Will the save files of this game be erased 10 secs after like in Mardek 1 and 2?
Cause you know, the first was short and didn't bother me that much. But finding that your saves work for nothing after 6 hours playing the second was not fun

I cannot believe developers work so hard on these games just for idiots' comments to destroy it all. There is always a game before that is like yours; would Final Fantasy be considered a rip-off of Zelda? No. This is a genre. You cannot do this to people. I am a developer, as well, (although not in Flash, but Java, and I will never live up to Pseudolonewolf's awesomeness) and I know how he feels. Why should RPGs be prejudiced like this? Why isn't BTD prejudiced as a rip-off? It's a TD game, and there's millions of those too. I think it's just unfair.

pseudo, ignore the haters. theyre little kids and are likely trolling because of your impassioned pleas. if you have a younger sibling or nephew or niece or whatever, I'm sure that you are aware that they are speaking simply to achieve a response.

Pseudo, remember that the people who comment are usually a fraction of the people playing this game, and half don't even play it before ranting. Most of the people who think it's a great game don't bother to comment. People do need to respect a developer's feelings though, this coming from probably a future developer for Kongregate.

It's not even so much the fact that people like or don't like the game that gets to me; it's the mentality that many commenters seem to have... Posting without thinking that a person will read what they write, not having the patience to play the game for more than a few seconds before judging it, after all the time that went into making it. I know such people will always exist, but it bothers me that they do, every time I post a game somewhere for The Masses to play. Anyway, uh, I was just mainly hoping that if people are critical, they could be constructively critical or something instead of just spouting bile. That way I could potentially improve the game.

i always thought mardek 3 would come out sometime late 2010 or early 2011 i have yet to try it but i will say this i likes the previous mardek series

this is so frustrating. i am unable to play any of the mardeks because whenever i click a key, the game thinks i am holding it. i was looking forward to this to.

@pseudolonewolf dude youre really overreacting, your game is amazing and everyone thinks so... dont worry! itll definitely win game of the month and maybe even hit the top 5 for adventure rpg. basically, good job and ignore those fackers!

Though I'm really appreciative of my supporters and the people who've waited so long for this game, as always with sites like this, the lack of empathy and thought in some peoples' comments is really disappointing and lowers my opinion of humanity all the more... Do such people realise that this game is made by a real person with feelings, or do they just assume it popped into existence or was built by some faceless corporation? Would they wish to receive the comments they give to others, especially if received on a work they'd spent years of their live slaving over and which they'd poured their heart into? Do they have the capacity for patience, empathy, etc? It's a shame that many comments make me think 'no, they do not'. I know not everyone can be pleased, but I really wish people would think before they comment. Really. Is it so hard?

Hopefully it will knock Don't Touch My Gems! of the top spot and claim #1 Like it deserves...And I haven't even played it that much O.o

Haven't even finished loading and I have already added it to my favorites, I know it'll be a great addition to the series and congratulations to Pseudolonewolf for finally getting it finished; I hope the hard work will pay off.

I fixed the map problem a while ago... I hope. Please make sure you're playing v3.3.055 (refresh if you're not). You can check the version number from the preloader, title screen or Options menu.

purely and solely a perfect game. it has the makings of a console game and a mmo along with potential that can surpass most other games it makes other pixel games look amatuer and childish.

A possible fix for sticky keys is to try using Safari. I started off using IE and then switched, and I kept all my saves and everything. Haven't encountered the problem since. Also, this game is amazingly detailed, and the developer should take a long deserved rest imo... =)

I dunno. On the one hand, it's obvious that a ton of effort went into this, and the sheer amount of content in this is pretty awesome for a flash game. On the other, though ... nostalgia isn't really enough to carry this game for me. The old Final Fantasies and other games of that genre and era were great for their time, but honestly, they don't age well. There's a reason modern games, even modern RPGs, have more action elements in them, are faster, etc., and that's because with modern technology, we can improve on games like that. There's no reason for this to be so ... stale. It's a decent game, but at its core, it might as well be Sprite-Based JRPG #4521.

To elaborate on an earlier post. The map will work, BUT if you use a save spot, it stops working. You have to refresh (or die) to get the map back. Not sure if this is a bug or not. again, long-time fan of the game pseudo. great job so far!!!!!

this is my rate of the game 5/5 the graphics are great, the controls are ten times easier than the old versions of the other two, the menu is awsome, the lenghth alone is enough to give it a five out of five, it may have taken a while but we have to remember he redid the first to and this game is worthy of being a console rpg i say well done pseudolonewolf i can't wait to continue to play your games
