Ugh I think I found a bug. Is it just me, or whenever you just try and use the battle menu, the keys just go unresponsive for EVERYTHING. it occaisonaly works if u get lucky but only for a few seconds. I didnt have this problem earlier so I think it is due to some sort of update

The beginning of the game needs better instructions. I had no idea how to save and I almost won my first battle and tried to have a character with low HP flee only to find out the whole party flees. The in game help was of no help with this info.

very good game, however i seem to have a problem with the mouse disapearing in the inventory, so its guesswork trying to equip stuff

Pretty good game, especially th erobust battle system. However, there comes a point when you cross the line from "homage" to "ripping off" and this game treads dangerously close to to the "rip off" side. Seriously man, Phoenix Down? How can I not associate that with final fantasy?
However, the humor really saves this game from any rip-off nerd rage I might have. Feels kinda like the Mario & Luigi RPG series in style. Great Work all around!

I would honestly compare the joy I had playing this to the feeling I had playing FF2/FFIV as a kid. You my friend deserve the highest honors and awards as a game developer and no game is without fault but if there is one or two in this they are easily overshadowed by all the intricacies of the magic and reaction systems. Grats to you my friend u deserve a large sum of cash for this piece of gaming history

woooooow i remember trilobyte keys were a pain in the a$$ i gave up with those but i still beat chapter 1 and 2... i loved the music^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i might replay chapter two but first will someone tell me if it will save? it use to not save im wondering if one of the updates fixed that

@heckeck No, it's just that you like to go around posting stuff about games for no reason when you probably only watched the entering credits. So if you don't have a bug to report or something good to say about a good game you can just screw off.
~Have a great day~

Just one question before starting playing.
Will the save files of this game be erased 10 secs after like in Mardek 1 and 2?
Cause you know, the first was short and didn't bother me that much. But finding that your saves work for nothing after 6 hours playing the second was not fun

I cannot believe developers work so hard on these games just for idiots' comments to destroy it all. There is always a game before that is like yours; would Final Fantasy be considered a rip-off of Zelda? No. This is a genre. You cannot do this to people. I am a developer, as well, (although not in Flash, but Java, and I will never live up to Pseudolonewolf's awesomeness) and I know how he feels. Why should RPGs be prejudiced like this? Why isn't BTD prejudiced as a rip-off? It's a TD game, and there's millions of those too. I think it's just unfair.

Great great great great GREAT game. I loved it. I am yet to see a mardek game that disapoints me, Altough i love rpgs, i wouldnt make one because its very slaving. thanks a lot pseaudolonwolf!

pseudo, ignore the haters. theyre little kids and are likely trolling because of your impassioned pleas. if you have a younger sibling or nephew or niece or whatever, I'm sure that you are aware that they are speaking simply to achieve a response.

Pseudo, remember that the people who comment are usually a fraction of the people playing this game, and half don't even play it before ranting. Most of the people who think it's a great game don't bother to comment. People do need to respect a developer's feelings though, this coming from probably a future developer for Kongregate.

It's not even so much the fact that people like or don't like the game that gets to me; it's the mentality that many commenters seem to have... Posting without thinking that a person will read what they write, not having the patience to play the game for more than a few seconds before judging it, after all the time that went into making it. I know such people will always exist, but it bothers me that they do, every time I post a game somewhere for The Masses to play. Anyway, uh, I was just mainly hoping that if people are critical, they could be constructively critical or something instead of just spouting bile. That way I could potentially improve the game.

i always thought mardek 3 would come out sometime late 2010 or early 2011 i have yet to try it but i will say this i likes the previous mardek series
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is so frustrating. i am unable to play any of the mardeks because whenever i click a key, the game thinks i am holding it. i was looking forward to this to.

@pseudolonewolf dude youre really overreacting, your game is amazing and everyone thinks so... dont worry! itll definitely win game of the month and maybe even hit the top 5 for adventure rpg. basically, good job and ignore those fackers!

Though I'm really appreciative of my supporters and the people who've waited so long for this game, as always with sites like this, the lack of empathy and thought in some peoples' comments is really disappointing and lowers my opinion of humanity all the more... Do such people realise that this game is made by a real person with feelings, or do they just assume it popped into existence or was built by some faceless corporation? Would they wish to receive the comments they give to others, especially if received on a work they'd spent years of their live slaving over and which they'd poured their heart into? Do they have the capacity for patience, empathy, etc? It's a shame that many comments make me think 'no, they do not'. I know not everyone can be pleased, but I really wish people would think before they comment. Really. Is it so hard?

Hopefully it will knock Don't Touch My Gems! of the top spot and claim #1 Like it deserves...And I haven't even played it that much O.o

Haven't even finished loading and I have already added it to my favorites, I know it'll be a great addition to the series and congratulations to Pseudolonewolf for finally getting it finished; I hope the hard work will pay off.

I fixed the map problem a while ago... I hope. Please make sure you're playing v3.3.055 (refresh if you're not). You can check the version number from the preloader, title screen or Options menu.
