I think that it that the plot is kinda like Naruto, like those creepy hood people at the end are like the akatsuki, and other stuff

There are a few things that I can suggest. One, the most common of all the RPG's, train your party to higher levels. Two, Learn some new/better spells. Three, Switch up your party a little bit, make sure you are using the bosses weakness to the fullest. (That is if he does have a weakness. I haven't fought Karnos yet.)

I rated this a 1.... I replay the whole series, get to the water place... and learn that I can't get a chalice for a superboss. Thats bullshit, completely. Especially with no warning that you would screw the player over like that from the chalice.

I have to say that, even though I make a decent amount of money and have the current gen consoles and several games for them, I find myself enjoying my time with MARDEK more then I have with some console game purchases. Psuedo, I must say you are a master at your craft and I absolutly cannot wait for the next five chapters to come out. Thank fo making such an awesome flash game.

I have failed twice to get past the first security checkpoint. The first time, on purpose : RAWR! Second time, accidentally: Not enough! The security demon actually has a little trouble taking down Mardek. Go him. :P

@Fob819, Legion can't learn any of the skills that your other party members can learn (except for abilities learned through accessories and helms) so don't bother. All his skills come from monsters, and only about 2 dozen or so monsters at that given that a few monsters like pixies and the bone demon have access to multiple skills he can learn. I suggest checking Psudo's website's wiki has a list of all of Legion's skills and the monsters (don't know if any are missing) you can learn them from. I imagine the walkthrough here will have that info too, but until psudo can get around to updating/completing it, it's as good a place as any to find a skill list.

5/5 So far this game has made me really happy. I plan on taking an hour or two to completely explore Aeropolis and see what everyone has to say!

Pseudolonewolf, no joke, these games make me think of the old Final Fantasy games. I'm not using this as a insult, I'm meaning it as a extremely good thing, if you have the brains to create a plot that makes me think of a multi-million dollar earning game, and think that they have a run for their money, you are good. Perhaps you should, after finishing the Mardek series, contemplate on making some of you games purchasable on the iPhone or what-not. But only after Mardek is over. If you start in the middle of the series you'll have some very, very mad fans. This is, like, something I would have bought for my Super Nintendo. Bravado. I have not finished the game, not even close, but if there is not a reappearance of Deuagan and Emela soon in like the next chapter or something, I think I will pull my hair out and dropkick my computer monitor.

@Psilo707, wtf are you talking about? Im running this game on a LAPTOP fine. Update your flash player or something, because the game itself is fine.

MARDEK CHAPTER 3 FINALLY
i've waited forever for this! wow i'm glad i joined up on kongregate cuz i sure as heck didnt see it on newgrounds.
i havent played it yet. just downloaded. guess thats a worthless post from me
anyway, i absolutely loved 1 and 2, very excited for 3 :)

@Alakar64: I'll assume you're talking about the first boss in Mardek 1, the dragon (since you have time to train before all the other bosses). The dragon can be easily beaten without even taking damage. Your reactions will nullify all damage, provided you use them.

Congratulations! You just won the Psychosomatic Exhaustion Badge and 60 points! Only took me over 60 hours. Well worth the time, excellent game. 5/5 ^^

I havn't played yet, but I felt this needed to be said. I played the 1rst chapter, and got stuck on a boss, nowhere to train before him, and I could only do about 1/3 of his health before I died. Every time. I never played the 2cnd one, just out of prejiduce. I'm gonna give this a try, as I engoy RPG's.

This is a great flash RPG paying homage to its predecessors. I would rate 5/5 with the exception of the excessive political commentary in the Warport. I play games to escape reality, not be reminded of it. 4/5. Keep up the good work! But please... Leave politics to the "real world" (tm)

if any1 is having problems with thier charecters always going one direction, it is dew to an inferrior keyboard, not Sticky Keys. A Keyboard can only handle so many charecters at once, and odd combinations are often not tolerated in the programming. U need a good keyboard to play any games.

Pseudolonewolf, you've really outdone yourself. I enjoyed Chapters 1 and 2 enough with the addictive gameplay, great storyline, and the humor thrown in here and there for some light comic relief, but this is just over the top. I must truely say that this is one of the best games online I have ever played. You just get into the game, relate with the characters, qualities lacking in many online games. All that work was for an amazing cause. 5/5.

guhhh... Legion couldn't even pull off a single rage chord on alia when fighting the world saviours in the fire temple... and he tried like six times before I finally died, not managing to kill a single saviour.
In the resistances, can you tell me which one is berserk? I thought it was the little blood droplet, but then I remebered that that would be bleeding.

I saved over my file and i said "corrupted File from different chapter" lost the whole file over all the chapters. Super...

The only complaint I have left (after playing through Mardek 1 - one hour - and Mardek 2 - seven hours) is that the inventory system still makes it a bit difficult to see which characters will learn which skills from which item; ditto with the blacksmithing, which is a great addition, but frustrating to put together on the player's end. I've only played through the Sun Temple, so I'll add more as it comes up, but with the Medals, Dreamstones, the optional content mentioned in the Badges section, and the larger range of characters (axes and a variety of magic types), I have a feeling I'm going to love this installment. And I already loved the others (and the Earthbound-ish art-style). 100/5.

wtf? the wicked soul thing from the volcano is much easier than the master stone from water temple for me. is that supposed to be so?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
congrats psuedo on another fantastic game combining the element of a great rpg with storyling, parodies and whatnot. i know the trolls that rate 1/5 for no reason can be frustrating but theres nothing you can do about it. heres hoping the next installment doesnt take 3 years to complete =D
