Under rating threshold (show) Turles: Mass heal the enemy party is sometimes good. :D Not joke, if all enemies are undead, than mass heal can really damage all them - Mardek is number one undead killer (in Chapter 2, Vehrn was doing it, but here, Mardek). :D

Under rating threshold (show) The music collection is also diverse and imbues each situation with the right feel (though, just a little suggestion, you might try to have live musicians play the music you compose next time and use the recording instead of synthesizing all of the music. Right now it feels a tid-bit on the robotic side --- which might not be a bad thing because this is after-all a retro style RPG. Nevertheless, great composition regardless of the way you render them!). The Shakespeare references everywhere are also a bonus :D The only part that might need a little upgrade is the artwork, but as it is right now, it's very unique, and a lot better than most flash games. Despite that, it has been a fantastic experience for me to play this game. Thank you Pseudolonewolf for creating such a masterpiece of not just RPG but art! (Indeed if RPGs become recognized as a genre of art alongside novels and movies in the future, I think this series should definitely be in the textbook of such curriculum)

Under rating threshold (show) I just finished playing through the game plus all the side quests. I must say this (series) has been one of the -- if not THE -- best RPGs I have ever played. A very smooth and clever mix of parody and its own genius, unpredictable plot which has merit of its own in its sometimes dark themes, it also pays very much attention to the characterization of each hero. On top of all of this thematic development and literary merit, it possesses a well designed battle system. (continued on the next post)

Under rating threshold (show) Can't believe how great of a game and series it is as well as how much time and effort had to be put into making such an incredible game with amazing conversations / storyline / quests. All-around definitely the BEST game on Kongregate. The only thing holding the rating back is the mere fact that many people who don't like RPGs in the first place come in and rate it low, putting this game's rating at an unfair disadvantage against other simple games where the people with 0 attention span and knowledge of what real games like this are rate crap like "Screw the Nut 2" a 5/5, and the games that REALLY deserve a 5/5 like MARDEK are somehow even close to having the same rating as eachother. But I got a bit off topic, this is the best and most well-made game on Kongregate, despite whatever the RATING says. Kudos to you, Pseudolonewolf I'm sure you will go on to make many other great games, possibly with a big game developing company.

Under rating threshold (show) The only problem I had with the game was having the wait button next to the flee button. Accidentally waiting for Sharla instead of fleeing meant I would have to take more damage. Still, this game rocks! 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) This whole series is immense, the depth and sheer amount of skills/items were both great and aggravating (being somewhat of a perfectionist I have to have every skill, item etc.) For anyone who wanted to beat that security demon, it offers no advantage to do so. You get a gold warp pass, same as one for buying 5 normal ones. It's also not on the bestiary if you do defeat it. However i beat it by poisoning it (3000 damage each turn) and constantly nullifying dark, light and air (Mardek's and Sharla's skills) if you wanted to kill it. You do get an amusing speech after though :)

Under rating threshold (show) Guys, guys, listen to what I just made. It's a hi-def version of "Bring It!" from this game. I got the midi from fighunter's website, replaced most of the instruments in FLStudio, and put the electric guitar in two tracks so it can do both chords and single notes. http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/6/8/1950977//BringIt_Final.mp3

Under rating threshold (show) This game is so rich and full of goodness. It's right up there with my experience with Chrono Trigger (but better in a lot of ways). Man, it's like I get to re-live those awesome days of RPG, but with way better stories, and the level grinding doesn't bore me to tears because it has active elements and unique skill building. And I keep actually laughing out loud at the things people say. Thank you so much for this game Pseudolonewolf. You've achieved so much with this.

Under rating threshold (show) Just one small thing... the Aero Sheel ability doesn't seem to do anything as it actually increased the air damage I took and only dealt about 5-7 damage back. It was just a regular attack against me though, so that might change something.
