I rule at this game, by the end of it the dragon had died almost 50 times. What do you mean you're supposed to keep the dragon alive? At old school games the dragon must always die, right? Right???

I'm impressed, I thought this game was going to be easy, but I actually DIED a couple times. How refreshing this is, great game, great concept, oh nostalgia! 5/5

...Did any of you guys read Pseudo's memo at the top? You know, the one that shows you how to take away the lag... God... Assholes, all of you.

Coming from almost any other developer, I would have been pleasantly surprised, but with you it's always a retro-style video game that plays well and looks even better. Keep up with the games.

I'm impressed, I thought this game was going to be easy, but I got HIT one time. How refreshing this is, great game, great concept, oh nostalgia! 5/5

This doesn't get badges because it'd need a rating of 4, which it isn't gonna get because too many crybabies are downvoting it 'cause of the difficulty.

I found way too much of it was built around the single feature of pressing shift while jumping. That was kind of annoying honestly, considering it seemed like every other room there was a part where there was the exact same obstacle; a series of ladders short ladders with spikes above them.

Beat it on Beginner! This series may be my favorite on Kongregate, great challenge and alot of fun, even on the easiest difficulty. Eagerly, eagerly anticipating part 3! My only complaint is that the final boss is far to forgiving given what it takes to get to him, at least on beginner (I know beginner should be fairly easy, but with all that bonus health you can just kind of stand in his attacks, he's the easiest part of the level which is kind of... odd) Oh and also great music, this whole game is a work of art =) I'm so impressed, keep up the good work!

Once you’ve finished the game, you’ll probably feel good about yourself. I’m going to ruin that for you. Remember how it said Ideal Time: 15:00? Now look at your time, undoubtably over 40 minutes. Yeah. WHY ARE YOUR STANDARDS SO HIGH, PSEUDOLONEWOLF?!?!?!

Last game was difficult but this one, well it just seems another level. This is what can be called punishing hard. Easy was way hard, only the boss was easy, collecting the third relic was a major odyssey, I want to see someone get that one one expert. It was a real pain even with loading. Well I guess this game is not meant for keyboards.

I had pretty good results with mapping the up key to both jump and climb/talk. The vine-jumping gets a little hairy, but otherwise, it works better because I've had a lot more practice with the up-is-jump layout.
(Note to game developers out there: if you're going to use a non-standard key mapping, it had better be the best thing since the microchip. This game is, I admit, rather nice, but it doesn't justify having to re-learn a new control scheme.)

hard on beginner, but fun. 4/5 due to some annoying sections.
@ zer0nix: you can jump on the upturned spikes and from there you can reach the vine. You never have to wait for death.

Finally, another game with a REAL difficulty level. 5/5 and favorited. Oh, and after two hours of immense difficulty, I finally beat the tutorial.

Excellent game as usual, though with Argus carrying as many lampshades as he does, I was just waiting for him to comment on why he didn't just use the backdoor. Also, is it just me, or are there fewer enemies this time around?

OK. The point of this game is clearly to be reminiscent of good old fashioned difficult platformers, NOT a "run-n-gun" game. Who cares if you don't use the weapons much? The beauty in this game is its platforming style. There aren't many of these sorts of games out there, and I applaud the developer.

This game is awesome. It brings the nostalgia of the old plataformers. It's hard, but every time that Arkus Zei dies it justs get me more motivated and eager to best myself, not less. Golden Moric statue made my day too.
5/5 and favorited. Never lagged for my 2.1GHz comp.

I suck so terribly much at this game. Litheraly all the time I'm saying: Shit, FFFFFF! GOD! Come on! GO TO HHHHHHHHHHH! ... (WTF is going on with me silence) ... RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR! And in that escalating order. :/ And mostly because of spikes DX

I don't understand why people are complaining about the whole Shift+A to minijump thing, it's not even like it's an awkward key combination. Also, after a bit of practice, those ladder sections aren't even that hard.

Pseudo works alone. I'm sure he'll come up with something great. Here's hoping Ep. 3 is the next game after Clarence's Big Chance (which is almost done with production)

Awesome. you took something from another one of your games, Mardek, and put it in this game. and its amazing 5/5. (P.S. the item is eye of yalort.)

Just as nifty as the first episode.
High craftmanshift on graphics, sounds and gameplay.
Simple to play - hard to master. If you die, its your fault - as its tricky yet never unfair.

No THAT was a hell of a game. Not like that easy little games they make these days. I've lost count how many times the boss killed me, but it should be about 50 at least. Too bad not many games like this are made today.

I LOVE games that are doable, but difficult. I am sooooo tired of all these games that give you stupid, worthless achievements like "You finished the tutorial!". Keep doin your thing, Pseudolonewolf.

I have fallen through 5 platforms within the first 15 minutes. For a platform lover, this thing deserves a 5/5 for being a true platformer. Too bad I'm not a platformer lover :(
