I am a big fan of this series! I can't wait to get through this 5/5 for the series alone and how well it's grasped my attention

Though I think it lacks polish (even more than your previous games), and its story is lacks continuity a bit, I love the idea and the gameplay. Great job!

I always loved The Being One series and the story behind it. It can turn suspenseful one moment, gruesome the next, making it truly gripping. You did a job well done, Psionic3D.
Take the top line for example, notice the 'difference' between the number that goes in and the number that comes out, i.e. 5 <> 1 = 4, 7 <> 3 = 4, 2 <> -2 = 4.....the answer is always '4' so input '4' then move down a line and do the same until you input the code and press 'Enter'

i really did enjoy this Ep. of B1. the music scares still scares the sh*t out of me and thats what i would exspect for the person who makes tombscape and ghostscape.

"Nano's" should be "Nanos" unless you intended for the singular to include an apostrophe. It appears too many times to be a typo.

Loved the game already, (Half way through at the moment) usually I don't enjoy horror type games, but this struck me in a different way. I found this game and story intriguing, though, so I keep playing. The story keeps me immersed and into it, regardless of what a wuss I am. =) Also, loving the puzzles and mini games intertwined. 5/5 so far, and my only complaint is it's a bit slow changing items, such as when you have to pull out the gun. Maybe wish it auto equipped in combat situations. Other than that, great game though. Keep up the good work.

Hey, Psionic! I was waiting for this to come out, and it does not disappoint. I really think that you should market this whole thing as a book once you've finished the series. It would allow for more exposure to the series, and of your other work. You could even have a companion art portfolio of images from and based on the games along with possible concept art, and considering how good you are at telling stories, I think it would be great. It would also allow for more levels of Dr. Rycroft's lab to be explored because it wouldn't all have to be programmed in. I was particularly intrigued by some of the floors we saw while in the elevator shaft at the beginning of Episode 3, particularly Dinosaurs and Undead.
With the amount of comments I get relating to my grammar/punctuation I doubt a book is on the cards lol ;-) I do hope to keep explanding the website though with more behind the scenes images and short stories in preparation for Episode 6!!

I enjoyed playing the fist parts and this time the graphics are even better but the puzzles are a bit simpler.
After the first game I found almost all the secrets but playing some more for the lutz will surely happen. Cheers to the developer :)

I must also add that I like how there's an odd joke here and there, like how if you hover your mouse over the "Authorized Personnel Only" sign, it read's "I'll just ignore this.", and the "What do you know, more pipes!".

A big improvement over the previous installment, what with the task list and evidence log.
It would be nice to have a datapad log too though, and I've noticed that all the episodes use the abbreviation etc in places where it shouldn't be used.
Nevertheless, this game is great, keep up the good work Psionic!
Thanks, you can always re-view the datapads but like you say perhaps it would have been better to download them to your inventory or something? Thanks for playing and taking the time to comment, appreciate it!

This contains some spoilers. Anyways, I had a heck of a time figuring out the server code. Idk if others had as much, but I even had to view the walkthrough multiple times to figure out where the hell the numbers were coming from, especially since even if you get that it involves the worn off buttons, the order is still pretty arbitrary. I have trouble believing most ppl's first thought would be 'Hey, I read a book from left to right then move on to the next line, so this completely unrelated thing must function the same way!'. I think what's more likely is that one may think 'oh, maybe the worn off #s are the answer'. Then they'd probably go 'but that doesn't make sense, because there would be no way to know what order they're in. That must not be it.'. That results in ppl like me taking 20 mins repeatedly clicking every object and entering every 4 digit number in the game cause I hate admitting defeat and turning to a walkthrough. Either way though, I still enjoyed it.
Do you mean the AutoHacker? if so then take the top row for example, it scrolls across a 5 then goes through the middle and comes out a 2, the 'difference' is 3 = input 3, now move down a row for example it scrolls across a 2 and then changes to a -2 the 'difference' is 4, input 4...do this for all 4 numbers then click 'Enter'. IF you mean the server shutdown code it's in the **SPOILER ALERT*** the f r i d g e room on the wall on the right!!

Just played episodes 1-5 and I absolutely love the series! 5/5 for the story, though -1 because the puzzles and mini games are way too easy and -1 for pretty poor English at times(missing words and bad grammar etc.). I am sad to have to give it an overall 3/5. Hope next episode is a bit more challenging and with a more polished dialogue.

Wow. I'd thought we were left with the godawful ending of the 4th one. But now, a full three years later... wow. Now just get me Submachine 8, and I'll be happy.

Shame it wasn't longer, but a rare 5/5 anyway.
I was getting massive lag against the final boss until I worked out how to kill it. Is that deliberate or a bug?

I really do not like the intrusion detection game so far. I would like it better if I could just use the arrow keys, rather than having to click.

episode 5 is a MAJOR improvement over the previous episodes. the only "problem" is that it's a bit short... 4/5, i'd give it a perfect 5/5 if it was longer :-)
Thanks, The thing is filesizes are still an issue online so there's a limit to how big the game can be, that and the fact that I'm a just one man team, I can only do so much ;-) That said, more escape games are coming from me very soon and another Episode of Being One later this year!!

heh nice one, i really enjoyed the integration of some nice minigames into the puzzle system. i'm looking forward to six, keep up the good work!
Thanks to all for playing and rating!!, glad you enjoyed it, working on ideas for the next Episode later this year. Going to do some other escape games and a new halloween horror escape game before dropping back onto the next episode of B1!!

I just played the previous 4 episodes in a row, and was hoping for a new chapter. So I look up Being One Episode 5, and what do you know, it got posted here 30 minutes ago! Epic!
