With the addition of two buttons, the game wouldn't be half bad. You need one toggle-able button to automatically resend your monsters upon failure. You also need a button to recall to town whenever you wish without having to go through the "replace monster" option.

This is by far the grindiest "idle game" I've ever seen. I've spent a day's gold on upgrading toons and barely advanced 4 zones. It feels like my input has very little impact on the result.

Dude seriously, when I say, I hate click this click that tutorials... and you claim you were insulted... Just think for a second...

@Xystem4 how do you even progress. Im at level 20 after 4 days and I have 1 epic monster at level 22. Leveling up or buffing traits dont help.Im saving 150 gems so I can get another epic and maybe progress a bit but so far its exhausting for an idle game.

This badge was a real chore, I'm generally not the biggest fan of idle games but I've played and enjoyed a good number that are truly engaging, and this one is very far away from that. It doesn't even properly handle the idle aspect of it. There's virtually no progression, even from the very beginning of the game. Should've been a hard badge, or better yet just the easy one

The real problem to the game is that there's just not much to it, despite the complex menus. You almost never unlock anything on your own merit - the majority of it is gacha-based, which is either p2w or a lot of time and luck, both of which are boring. The gameplay is less about playing and more about strategizing, but you are so limited early on that only a couple strategies are worth using. Because playing randomly or testing provides almost no progress or feedback, people are more likely to check comments/forums for the min/max dominant strategy, then grind for that, which will reveal just how dull the game is. The fact that progress is greater offline than online proves this point further. It's not a game players will stick with.

I like idle games where I can check in every couple hours and have ten minutes of pleasant interaction with the game. In this game, you only need to check in twice a day, and the interaction is awkward. Fortunately it only lasts about two minutes at a time. But at this point is it even a game anymore? 4 minutes of gameplay per day? Most of which is recognizing that you didn't get anything useful and have to wait until tomorrow to do anything worthwhile.

Save 150 gems to get a single legendary, that's your main dps, 2 toads with optimized heal or healing aura and 2 manticores up front, I completed both badges in 12 hours from start to finish.

One of the worst "idle" games i have ever tried - this game is in no way idle.
And the "medium" badge takes an insane amount of time - should've been more like impossible.

This is not a good Game. I play some idle Games on Kongregate, but this Game sucks. Bad click use, bad game balancing, too much memory use and the badest of all - not really an idle game. I hate playing it so long to get this badge. @Kongregate: PLEASE stop badging games like this.

Very basic, non interesting game with nothing new to offer. The only refreshing thing is the high response rate of the programmer. Unfortunately we have someone who insults their player base. I hope they can look back on their actions in some years time and use this experience to mature a bit more.

Hey look, it's one of those strategy games except oh wait, you need to gacha your life away to try different things. Alternatively you can just work with what you get and idle offline. The developer DID say "Go play something else!"... 1/5.

i usually give idle games 1* because they're... idle games... for this game, however, i would really like a -5* option to exist.

lost all my progress after I left the page cause nothing saved. including legendary monsters I spent money on :( was enjoying the game and now everything is gone.

This programmer clearly has a lot of free time on their hands, replying to every single comment to insult the users. I feel like that effort could be better directed somewhere else, say, learning how to write a halfway decent game, instead of this crap.

If the game icon moves on the achievement tab, you know it's gonna be a shitty cash grab. Kong has really fallen from graces in the past years

whoever designed the trait that gives a perma bleed effect if you have 50% or less health ("deep wounds" i believe) and then gave it too a common enemy is so goddamn sadistic, like jesus dude
The key is to not drop below 50% health ;P FWIW the bleed isn't actually permanent on you, it's only really permanent on enemies. If you can survive for 1 minute it will stop.

Ok, so the easiest way to get money is to get the upgrade that gives you back more money than what you invest when you level up monsters. After that, keep leveling up monsters and then scrap them whenever you dont have any more required rarity monsters to level them up with and you will have more money than what you invested it. Best to start by using common monsters to level up common monsters first. Then use mostly common and a few rares to level up rares, then finally when you have a lot of money and a few epics, use common, rare, and epic to level up epics and scrap them. I ended up with hundreds of millions this way. After doing this the medium badge will be easy to get with all that money.
+1 to keep this comment alive.

dear wannabe critics: all idle games' medium badges are made to make you finish the tutorial and unlock most of the core of the game. stop blaming the dev for the badge's pacing. dear dev: your game's pacing sucks. also, it's annoying that you need to put a hero in your party to see its stats, just let us compare them from the bag for god's sake.
You can see the stats from the character info screen (where you learn traits.) Just drag the little area beneath the character's picture which shows their name/race/class with that little bouncing arrow.

Interesting concept, albeit not new, but the interface is just brutal. You've created buttons instead of tabs or dropdowns. I'm clicking a button to navigate through a menu - so I don't know what the rest of the menu is without clicking all the way through, and I'm not even positive if the current word on that button is the NEXT option or the current one. (i.e. Unlocked, Unequiped, None). I've played three times and I have no idea what's happening.
I agree that dropdowns would be good here, but cycling for the filters/sorts is the best compromise that works well on both web and mobile. Honestly no one has ever commented on it before this comment.

Nice, lost 2 epic monsters because local game overwrites my cloud save and my cloud save overwrites my local save... cant make any progress at all

Seems like the offline gold is bugged for me, it only works sometimes when I am on another tab. If I turn off my comp and come back the next day, there is no gold earned at all.
If you leave the game running it will still occasionally get resources from the browser to check in. The only way to reliably go offline is to close the tab.

Love how the dev said in response to one of the top comments that clicking isn't mandatory, but clicking seems to be intigral to the attack and ability speed of your monsters, but has no further influence on the game. Thus never clicking will have your monsters not attack and use abilities as fast, which will get you less damage and heals per second. And with that stopping your run short compared to when you do click.
I mean of course you'll progress slower if you don't click, but you don't have to click, you'll just progress more slowly. It's not at all required to "beat" the game.

It would be interesting if i could see the base stats of mine characters so i could compare who would use the trait more effectively , its impossible to know if its going to be worth upgrading a level 1 incase you want to switch with a similar monster
The saves are local, but cloud backup is on by default, so if you open it again you should be given the option to load from the cloud, or you can just go to the settings screen and do it there manually.

really? badging a offline/idle game its almost as bad as badging those papa games.. please make the badge at least impossible rank so its worth doing at all. right now clearing lvl 56 will be a christmas project if anything..
The stickers are placed with some padding from the beginning and end of the maps, and also you can drag the camera so that if a sticker is underneath something you should still be able to reach it.
