Seriously, looks like these dev guys really don't want players get to level 56.
Offline reward capped at 12hrs maximum, click bonus is 80% at best, enemies' level scaling with player and so on... I could go on forever, but what would be the point?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Frack this game! Level 56 only because there is a legendary foe that kills everything in a few seconds at level 53. I AM NOT GIVING YOU MY KREDS!

Also also (and this is the last one I swear) why does Vampire have a 25% chance now. I agree that it was pretty strong considering how much you can buff damage dealt but a 50% chance and/or a reduction on the amount of healing would've been enough I believe. I really liked vampire. :(

Also, I have some questions with the mechanics of the game.
1) Damage and sheer power bonuses stacks multiplicatively without cap. So 2 warriors with "ancient power" should do 50%+(50% of current 150%)=125% additional damage.
2)Dodge and chance bonuses stacks multiplicatively with a cap, but the 5% base counts towards it? So with 2 "tactical" monsters do I get 5%+10%+(10%of the 90% unaffected)=24% or I get 5%+(10% of the remaining 95%)+(10% of the remaining 85.5%)=18.775%.
3)Crit damage and resistances stack like sheer power or like chance?

Guys, I really like this game and I'd love to see new monsters coming out, A LOT OF THEM. But I do believe that you should either reduce the "start from the last frontier" cost quite a lot or make the gold gain increase less steep or (and I think this one's the better option) give an option to start from the checkpoint before the beggining of the frontier. Because right now I'm on the demon zone and I don't know if spend half of my income on starting there or going from the beggining and literally lose 30 minutes of fighting monsters that don't give any useful amount of gold. Also I think that the unlearn cost should go a little bit down, maybe 100 for masters but that's not really too much of a problem for me.

I do like my idle games, but this game feels like it lacks the actual idle part. If you want me to idle offline, I will close the tab where this game is and never open it again... So how is that supposed to work?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The one greatest thing in this game is the auto scrap feature and its fine tuning. It is truly usable, other games should adopt it.

u should show me which monster do i already have for tribute, i keep forget and have to look back and forth, and too little space for keeping monsters, i had a few rare monsters stuck in my inventory, don't want to use them but they are too expensive to level up and sell

So much potential wasted. Interesting idea, detailed rules so thank you developers for your effort. However a game needs to be fun to play and have help that explains why and what - levelling up traits needs more than tiny icons - lets have words when you hover over the icons - show which you have and which are missing. Almost everything nearly works - the loading screen climbs rapidly to 90% then sticks for a while - that isn't a progress bar, it doesn't show how far you have got and how far is left. A week elapsed time to get a medium badge - not good.

"Medium" badge? I've been playing this every day for a week and still can't get past lvl 40. No matter how much money I make, and how many creatures I sacrifice to upgrade the team, they just don't get any better. I have two healers like was suggested... this is just pointless garbage!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, I beat it. I killed the cyclops and beat the game. That's it. There are only two bosses. "But Sarah, that's not the end! You have to kill four bosses and then defeat the Darkness! And there's probably more after that!" I know, but I'm calling the second boss the last boss, because that's all I can handle right now.

*Spoiler alert*: So after upgrading the Merchant to level 4 the monsters you sell actually give you more money then you invest in them for leveling them up. This way you can make money alot faster to get to higher levels. My current highest level is 50 and i started playing this 2 days ago (Idle ofcourse). Hope this helps some of you who get stuck at the start! :)

Optimized Healing should be healing the party member that has the lowest percentage of health remaining or the most health missing. Currently, Optimized Healing is more like Racist Healing.

when i want to click the stickers on level 29, because it was hiding behind the "home" button, i scroll so it it not being cover, but then it moved back and i clicked and went home.....start all over again

With a best zone of 32, I became stuck at lvl 20 because all in the opposing team had Heal, so I couldn't defeat them. This kind of randomness in the enemies traits is annoying.

As mentioned by others, be sure to use the frog.
The Medium badge is time consuming, not hard. It's a simple Gatcha game, with skill management at it's core. DPS is almost unimportant for the badge. Focus on that frog (take note of the HPS, heals per second, value). Teach him and anyone else you can find healing abilities. My main tank had heal on hit. My frog had heal the leader and heal the group. I had an octopus, innately hits all foes, I gave him heal the group and blind foes on hit (blind enemies don't hit you). I had one solid DPS'er, and one guy who hit the last unit (useful for dropping enemy healers).
That's kind of it. Good luck fellow badge hunters!

Epic! Combining retro pixel style with modern retarded design of click-through tutorial and cash grab. I wish I could rate it less than 1 :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Took 5 days to get from easy badge to medium badge. Emphasize healing traits -- keep leveling up the frog, give it optimized heal, and put it at the back. I did pretty well with a Nymph at the front with holy spirit to absorb damage. I found most traits were very slightly helpful except for the healing traits, which are super important.
All things considered -- happy to have the badge and be done with the game.

OK... Just started my team at their farthest outpost (44), while they have been in the high 40's multiple times and even hit 50 once. Today, the very first monster in 44 one shot every single member of my team, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. When people are complaining about the pacing, it's stuff like that that they're talking about. It's not only slow, it's also unpredictable in a bad way.

For those who want to consider doing the medium badge, you'll need at least 3 to 4 days of quite active playing to achieve this. FWIW, finished with 5 epics, Manticore lvl27 with heal at front, Dreadnaught lvl27, Elder lvl32 with heal, Sphinx lvl25, Griffin lvl21 with healing aura. The heals are critical for advancing maps. The 56 map boss can't kill any of my monsters with this setup.

Some of the daily quests are not achievable most of the time; sell 2 level 30+ monsters, progress 3 maps further than your max, etc.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Inventory while looking at a monster should show monster's stats, this will help decide whether to keep or sell or whatever. Equiping monster to look at stats is just too stupid & way too tedious.
The stupid Keep or Re-roll should let players have an option to always Keep so that this stupid screen doesn't come up everytime you catch a new monster. No one is stupid enough to re-roll.

There is a glitch with Giant Toad. He has optimized heal it should heal on every attack. However unless it is himself he does not heal. Then if a unit dies he starts attacking and healing from the back. Not sure why but I assume it is a mistake. Really pisses me off.

First time I'm seeing a game in the genre, where offline progress is bigger than idle online progress. Just goes to show how much the developers don't want us to play their game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Potions & scrolls should have their own storage inside the Backpack, the 6 slots should be use for equiping what you want to use.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The stupid outpost screen which do nothing is also a waste of time. Should at least heal all to full health at conquered outpost or something for players to click to gain resources so this screen will not just be a waste of time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Unless you have epic luck and already know shit you can only learn by playing (or I guess reading a tutorial if anyone cared enough to make one) the medium badge does take at least 3 days to get and that's playing contentiously clicking smartly sacrificing upgrading and closing the tab so it can "idle" while you're offline. It's only worth the effort if you're a completionist about badges. The complaints here are legitimate, Kong does things for money sometimes, but we don't have to reward a game that it's a chore to play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Tribute shouldn't need the 15 mins count down. You need to have the correct combination in the first place, so it's just a stupid setup.
The requirement to Clear Area X for building upgrade is also stupid. You need the gold to upgrade, thus having to clear areas X before you can upgrade is stupid. Upgrading the building to enable me to clear areas faster is why I want to upgrade.

The barracks, just like my budget, are a frustrating exercise in deciding which items I can keep in there for now and which I cannot. Does not provide the escape from real life I was hoping for.

I'm confused, I turned off my computer, went to sleep, went to work, did some errands, turned on my computer, and when I log in it says "while you were out (2 minutes)". Those were a pretty productive 2 minutes of my life, unless I'm misunderstanding something
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Even with a combo of online and offline play, after a week I'm only pushing area 18. Upgrades don't seem to do much for how expensive they are, and you acquire far too few monsters to level up your main team. Without an effective way to buy monsters (or a major boost in how often new monsters are picked up), the progress is just too slow to justifiy.

I'm.... kind of sad. This game has a lot going for it in terms of aesthetic and music score-- those parts are really well done. But it is a really unpleasantly boring slog that would be borderline not worth it even if it weren't for the atrocious "click a bunch to go faster" mechanic. I don't think it's unfixable, but it's kind of not worth playing as is.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Absolutely nightmarish game that I feel was ALMOST good, it had potential, and then just turned into an anti-fun slog. Fortunately the programming is so bad that you can manually adjust your computer's clock to get millions of gold in "idle," do a lot of "daily" quests, and use those gems to buy enough potions to beat the second boss.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Even the shop is horrible, I wasted gems on the gacha not realizing it resets itself. Such a greedy game! Even YGO! Duel Links wasn't this bad. Worst badge of 2019 IMO.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Game is boring and traits are poorly explained. Without proper traits you can't heal despite it being CRITICAL for survival (unless you enjoy having toads in your party).
This is one of the most pay2win badges on Kong and I hate it to death.
I figured if the dev is so bad at making games the time-travel exploit probably works. After changing my PC clock and time traveling for a couple MONTHS I finally assembled a decent team and got the badge. Team was 3 Elf with 2 Tribalism, Elder with Killing Streak and Healer, and Manticore with Vampire and Repurpose. Don't put the Elder in the far back or he'll die sooner due to Backstab.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Since I know the devs are reading this: Most of the complaints about this being a cash grab would go away if you allowed people to buy creatures for gold instead of just gems and kong bucks. The cost for starting at the last save point should be about a tenth of what it is now. The game isn't properly "idle" because it doesn't idle when you're still online but not in the tab and the creatures don't automatically start questing again after going home. Saying the equivalent of "U mad bro" to commenters who have played hundreds or thousands of similar games and have constructive feedback is not an alternative to good game design.
