There was a discussion not so long ago about it, and the others assumed they are basically the same thing.
I argued that "rate" is how often there is a check for a "crit chance".

They are the same thing. I thought we replaced all references to RATE with CHANCE in trait descriptions a while back, but I know that some of the community created guides have not updated to reflect this. If you still see "crit rate" in the game, let me know where and I'll fix it :)

Golden Beetle's name is spelled 'Golden Bettle' also does the crit chance item not work with the core multi hit trait? didn't seem to be proccing.
Lol, don't know how we've had that typo for so long. Thanks for pointing it out, will fix. There's no "crit chance item" right now AFAIK, but there is an attack potion (the one with the sword,) which is just a multiplier on damage output. If you're talking about a trait though, everything works together with multi-hitter. A crit chance trait will work with multi-hitter, but a crit trait won't visibly pop, and I think there's a crit roll for every enemy hit.

Question about Addict: Say you have 2 teams, each with it's own char(s) using addict, and you have used x # of potions/scrolls on the first team.
A. Does the # used affect both teams?
B. Only Affect the addict in the first team?
C. Addict resets if you switch teams?

I unlocked masters and have been trying to farm for an angel for that last 4-5 days, however I have yet to actually encounter one. I have caught a duke of null and fairly regularly encounter masters in area 3 and 4. Is angel not available in the first dimension or is it just ridiculously hard to find one?
Angels are available in the first dimension, with the same spawn rate as any master, as long as your frontier is in the city. If your frontier is already past the city then you can't capture angels again until ascending to the next dimension. Edit: I can't reply to your PM because your account is private :(

How about you DON'T put the re-roll button that costs gems RIGHT OVER THE MONSTER UPGRADE BUTTONS! I spent 50 gems because I was leveling up my monster and that stupid thing popped up.

whats up with SPD? My dps (elder) can oneshot mobs, but as the elders spd is higher than my tanks (nymph) the tank will get chip dmg from every mob before elder one shots them. self heal (vampire) doesnt proc because the tank never attacks...
Speed gives attack initiative (aside from attacks per second,) so if your tank is too slow to get any attacks off then maybe you should add Healer or Optimized Heal to your Elder. It may still have enough damage to one shot. Otherwise, you can look at Healing Aura.

When I am at my 'Home'... How come the Formations timer stops even if it says 'active'? It doesn't matter if I am on the '1 or 2' tab. I have to literally be playing the game (not at Home) for it to start. How do I remedy this problem?
Formations only accumulate mastery while your monsters are actively fighting when you're online. If you're offline, both teams will accumulate mastery.

I've had a few stickers spawn directly under the "return to home" button, would be nice if there was an area that was considered impossible for them to appear so i dont have to worry about cancelling a run for some extra cash
I think we already make it so that the apple stickers in forest never initially spawn in that area (they might pass under it of course.) I'll take a look at applying that fix to other zones (namely City.)

Ok, my other device had a local save state. Sadly i lost all progress since friday, including the Echidna i bought with gems from quests.
This makes me wonder: What exactly happens to items you can buy with Kreds when a save gets lost? Is there a way to re-unlock Gems or Items that were bought before? This could be a complete dealbreaker when it comes to paying any money for this game!
I can recover accidentally overwritten cloud saves, otherwise purchases can't be restored (that's just the nature of consumable purchases.) Send me a PM with your user id from the top left corner of the settings page, and the date you'd like to return to, and I will roll back your cloud backup to that date (which will have your purchases.)

Does this game not save locally if you loaded from cloud before? And is there a way to restore an older cloud save? It seems I just overwrote a week of progress.
I often switch between my laptop and desktop. I make sure to manually save to cloud before closing and load from cloud on the other device.
Just now i forgot to manually press save, and closed the browser.
I noticed a few seconds later, so i restarted the browser, and when prompted, i selected to load the local data (since i had just played on the same device and the cloud save showed it was about 30 minutes old, sadly i did not look at the local date).
This opened a very old savegame and immediately overwrote my cloud save with the old data.
I realise i should have clicked "keep both" but i was playing on this machine for more than two hours. There was no reason for me to assume the local data would be out of date.

I would like to see an option to start from current area, so that you could skip area 1, 2, etc and start at the beginning of the area your max stage is currently in.

really good game for AFK if your team have the good power to go very far
but the power level from legendary and rare was realy big for a full team of rare level 40 in the city

Honestly this is an idle game done right, everything from the pacing to the different monsters keeps me interested. It feels great to finally have something I can have going in the background while I' working my (incredibly boring) front desk job. My only thing is that I don't really know but I'd love a pause button for the monster fights, it's one thing to be able to drop out and pause with the home button, but I don't like losing my progress from that run which I have to slowly go back to.

need more Inventory space holding stuff to upgrade traits and monster levels severely limits the ability to try other things out. Ideally need like 40 more slots and 2 more teams. Also would like to see more ways to use gold.
Planning to add some more inventory slots eventually, they'll be unlockable, not 40+ though :P Also some more buildings are being designed right now (to invest gold in.)

mediocre and unfortunately another developer that doesn't seem to reaslise how much Kreds cost as all the Kred items are massively overpriced even for p2w genres.

Game is pretty decent, but we need to be able to choose the checkpoint, and unlearning has to either be cheaper, or let you reassign the unlearned trait to give it more value.

rated this really poorly because of a couple reasons:
1 - This is not really an idle game, this is an "idlish" game, you get offline progress but anything else isn't idle at all.
2 - this is totally luck/money based, you can't choose how to develop your units (traits are preset, you must pay real money to change skills) nor you could really choose your unit at all (monster are gacha/drop chance based)
3 - this isn't even an incremental game to be honest, you get stuck basically at every corner, only progress possible is when you drop a stronger monster with the traits you need or with blanks traits, which doesn't happen that often.
Saddly this game looks fun on the surface, but spend 5-6 hours in and you will find yourself frustrated instead of having fun.

Please increase the maximum offline threshold from 12 hours to 48+ hours. When you have a lot of offline responsibilities (job, family, etc.) it becomes difficult to log in twice a day.

I wish you can see monsters highlighted stat while viewing them from the inventory screen, so that when I get a new monster I can easily know what it is without having to go home and replace a monster from my current party

Cannot farm angels anymore :'( and i got a master but he had 4 really bad traits, 150 gems to delet one, so i'm kinda stuck cannot reset game, so lost.
Ah, bummer on that. Re: Traits and Masters, keep farming. They drop at a decent clip in the game and you can pick up gems daily from quests/sticker peeling.

Honestly I'm a pretty lazy player and I never make far into idle games but I would just like to say that I'm having fun.
A couple of annoying points:
- Scrolling: It's incredibly annoying scrolling in this game is. Just to upgrade traits on a master monster takes forever when I need to scroll my mouse wheel 50 times. The auto-sell on the merchant takes even longer....
- Purchasing monsters from the stall: I would be quite nice to be able to see an explanation the traits of the monsters before purchase, mostly for those noobs out there like me who haven't run into all of those skills yet.
- Teleportation: It would be nice, albeit not necessary, to be able to choose which point you teleport to. I've never regretted brute forcing a checkpoint with scrolls before... And if I want to grind out a skill in the area just before my latest checkpoint...
Otherwise thanks for a making such a well designed game that doesn't even chew up my CPU.
Thanks for playing and for feedback. As for the scrolling...you can drag everything by holding down the left mouse button, but I'll definitely look at increasing scroll sensitivity.

It would be fantastic if you decrease the gems needed to unlearn traits from legendary/master or add more ways for us to earn gems.
Just added more ways to earn gems in the game. From the last build notes:
- Clarify and increase availability of gems from stickers by making gem stickers into an hourly event.

So far I really like the game, the simple mechanic to speed up the game 80% by playing actively is nice, isnt ad based which is a huge complaint for many idle games. I like how you included a gatcha system for some monetization ideas I personally hate them but they are a great non intrusive way about it.

Friend, you've made a decent game here, it seems functional and it definitely has a good feel. I don't understand why you would've pursued the privacy angle, I understand making these games aren't that lucrative so I'm not sure what you're doing with our information but that's definitely the first and best way to piss off you clientèle. I'm not here to shit on you further but, please for the love of God, remove it.
We've done a bunch of edits on the Privacy Policy & put in the ability for folks to erase any info that has ever been tracked in the game. Additionally, we are using basic Unity analytics to track player progress in the game to make optimizations based on data which is fairly common in game development. We have a PP so we can be transparent with how we are using the data.
