Add new area's unlocked by progressing up to a certain point. These new area's would have different enemy unit compositions and start more difficult. As you progress trough the new area's the first area will become easier to get far in, which could have more new area unlock checkpoints further in. This would be a very simple way for the devs to remove some of the grind and repetetiveness.

@jakeraymond555 the key to swordsman is getting units that are strong against them, same with other tough units later in the game. The tactic that works best for me is buying units, upgrading their battalion to maximum, and putting the corresponding melee units to the corresponding enemy troops. Then in the middle, I keep the two strongest ranged troops. The cheats also help immensely, this game is simply more tactic-based than upgrading.

I really want to like this game but I just dont find it that fun. I played until i got the skeleton warriors but im bored of the game now.

This game has a lot of potential. However you need to remove some of the grind to it. Even having max upgrades on the first two unit sets I still onl get to about the wave with eight swordsman on it. That in itself is rediculous that they beat two fully upgraded groups.

Yay restarted in the final battle because the crappy "Try Again" option won't even ask if you really want to do it -.- awesome

This is an awesome game. I love the idea, and have been playing for a couple of hours now. I will not say anything bad about game. I love it

Complete, utter crap in the strategy section. Not sure what drugs Nadia is on, but there's minimal interaction. The only "strategy" is in your upgrades and ability use, and even that isn't particularly earth-shattering. On the plus side, it has excellent everything else. However, this saddens me even more - it goes to show how much effort devs are putting into decorative parts of the game instead of the actual gameplay. I'd say 2/5 because there's some entertainment from blowing up enemies.

Not much strategy, it is more of an idle game than anything. Simply choose your units and press play. Rinse and repeat to beat the game.

Repetetive as you fight the same battle over and over. Nice game though, and with some modifications it could be absolutely great. But 3/5 as it is.

made it equally far without managing my units at all...goodbye strategy, hello idle grinding while I play another game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's grind without any actual strategy. The graphics are nice, but the player never has any real choice about what to do. You max out upgrades and then move on to the next creature. And you have to fight the same guys every time

this game is quite impressive i love the idea of "lauching game" like running the farest you can with the rpg part and upgrading, nice association.

Decent game I would categorize this as more an upgrade game than anything else. Also it would be nice if the costs were adjusted a wee bit.

For a better experience click the "Norma;l speed button" (Under Day: x Wave: Y) and click the suicidal goblin portrait at need (at the bottom of the screen)

Just wow! There is nothing bad to say about this game. Graphics are great, the strategy system is awesome, the only thing I would personally like to see (in a sequel maybe) is battalion experience levels that make them more powerful as they level up. Other than that (and that's just for making the lower level units a little more useful later in the game), this is an awesome game! 5/5
