Man can you guys stop riffing on this game just because it's R2. Jesus. I'm level 32, I'm F2P and I enjoy this game. You guys turn away new players with your asshattery. Same publisher different dev.
All the forum threads are about how this game stinks and whatever, but as a free player I may not get everything, but I'm at least enjoying building my deck and winning every 3-4 out of 5 games.
Take your R2 hatred elsewhere, this game although it has microtransactions is pretty good.

I hope before anyone who plays any R2 games, google '100,000 whales R2'. It's a video from Mr R2 himself going through the 'formula' for the chinese game model (which all of his games are based upon) to squeeze as much money as possible out of the gamer before moving on. While it's their right to do so, it's very evident they do not care at all about the game, just milking as much money. watch it and decide if you wish to play their games. To add on, the removal in this game is laughable. The ranger has solid removal cards, all for the cost of nothing. Mage has dependable removal and insane burst. Meanwhile, priest and warrior are completely shafted.

Saw this game recommended on a few CCG sites. I desperate wanted to find a new card game to try out but I can't give this game a pass. P2W. The concept of their board limits the type of units you can play. There aren't enough healing units and the game favors mages and rogues. :/

I'm not sure R2Games is the company to ask for changes to game balance. They are a publisher of games but aside from bug fixes and server maintenance I am not sure if they have much say in what gets changed in any of their games.

Something a lot of MMO's like this are missing is something all GREAT games have. That's a good story, another disappointment with the single-player aspect when people look over it.

My first thought (or more a dreamy hope): Finally a "copy" of Kings & Legends / Rise of Mythos, that takes all the great potential from those and leaves missing balance and pay2win in the past..... why?? Why didn´t they... there could finally have been an REALLY awesome trading card game -.-

it's indeed not stolen, but it's based on the same software, the original chinese game sold it to gamefuse/gamebox and the games there originally called Kings And Legends and Ancient Summoner, when both companies merged, they called the game Rise Of Mythos
R2 games also bought one and made their own version of it, this, so yes it's for a part made by the same developers(the chinese one) but NOT from the same company ChangeYou bought Rise Of Mythos for gamebox/gamefuse and R2 bought this other version from the chinese devs
problem is, everyone knows that ChangeYou cares mostly about the money, but they do care(a little) for the playerbase
R2 only cares about the money and not the players, so uhm no thanks

Just a heads up to any new players hoping to get into the top position in p2w games. GhostSinius usually joins in all p2w games early and dumps a crapload of money to be #1 ASAP. So don't bother playing if your goal is to be the best. That guy has no life and thinks paying to be the best means he has the most skill.

Stop bitchign about it being P2W they shove free gold in your face you get it easy and quickly try playing before assuming. otherwise yes it's justl ike rise of mythos infact it's called Rise of Mythos 2 in some forums by R2 themselves. little to no P2W in this game simply because you can get free gold with ease. the only thing free gold can't buy you is a costume that gives you +2 HP

Based on my experience with other R2 games, if you start now and play every day for at least two/three hours a free player can maintain a position in the top 100. just don't expect any more than that, because someone spending about $50 will be able to horrifically stomp you if they put even half as much time in.

2. It's hard to earn money! hard to win in pvp, and full of frustration!
3. in conclusion: If you want to play a copy game, and you can ONLY win by pay, then it is a choice

Really good game, though I feel I've seen the mechanic somewhere before? I really enjoyed whatever game it was so I'm assuming this is just a rebranding.
Tutorial was good and easy to understand. Nearly lost me after I couldn't find the campaign after completing 1-4, but otherwise, why is this a beta game, it seems pretty fleshed out.

Okay, I've been playing this one ArmorGames and I can say it's fun. I played the first Rise of Mythos alot and this release is a lot like it. A few things have been changed compared to it but nothing major.
Pros: You get a decent amount of gold for cards.
If you liked Rise of Mythos this is fun too.
I personally like the mana concept better than the time concept
Cons: It's a R2game, you know what that means.
While it may not seem like it, the game uses cross servers. Once you've reached a milestone (20,30) the game brings people from other servers. In the arena it's a huge problem. As someone who is 30+ you will face level 45 people and that means you will have weaker cards.
Also, after 30+ the game becomes barren. There's some new dungeons but that's about it.
There's not much choice in the game. You're basically forced into playing a rush type deck or you don't stand much of a chance.
My final verdict is that I like the game, but I don't see too much of a future for it.
