Not sure if it's just me, but it seems like simultaneous hits only register damage from one projectile. When the homers group up, it seems to take a longer time to kill them than it does when they're spread out. I'm using two ninjas, two Robin Hoods.

Do the upgrades even do anything? I'm having a difficult time telling. It's not like anyone starts out running or shooting terribly slow, and a fully upgraded team doesn't seem to run or shoot very fast. The only useful upgrade is the Drop Rate.

The unlockable characters are useless. The best configuration for me was Witch, Knight and 2 Ninjas. A useful unlockable character would be one that can shoot backwards, becouse lots of enemies come from behind.

Damn! I died in survival with 29567 points! By the way that wawe 18 is totally unfair! Sending in 6(!) alien sub bosses (thos purple guys riding a green big guy) right at the beginning while the regular walls of aliens constantly keep coming (and faster than ever before!) and it's hard enough to take those out alone, not to mention that becouse of them you can't even get in line with the bosses to shoot them nor dodge their shots! Even the survival levels should be at least theoretically possible, but this one is totally imopssible. Why do you have 50 waves when you kill the heroes on the 18th?

Big brothwa, they took ouwa candee!" "MOTHER F***! LET'S GET THE GANG IN!" (10 minutes later) "ALIENS TOOK OUR CANDY! LETS BLOW THEIR BRAINS OUT!" "Good idea! should we check for survivors and make sure they're okay?" "Are you mad? THINK OF THE CANDY!!!

I do like the pixel art, but the concept and balance needed some work on it. Like, instead of an upgrade after you lose, it goes up and upgrades actively. There was potential for a class tree, like if there was leveling for each type of trick-or-treater, and you level up ninja and warrior to a point, you can use samurai. i.e. Fairy & Witch = Sorceress. i.e. Robot & Pirate = Space Bounty Hunter. The class would possess both abilities, but both work at half the power. I do like it very much for a Halloween game though. Thank you~

I don't like the fact that the upgrades reset in story mode for each run. For survival I understand this but I feel that story mode should be more casual gameplay then having to grind it out for the minimal upgrades we get from ranking up.

If you want to get all the badges the best combo is a Fairy and a pirate in the back and 2 ninjas in the front. When you fight the bosses just dodge and use your special to regain your health.

Surviving 19 waves for the hard badge does not make it an endurance badge. Papa's Pizzeria . . . now THAT was an endurance badge. Played it every day for two weeks while procrastinating during finals, and still didn't earn the badge.

Badges aren't registering? I know I've completed them but they aren't showing as completed. Is it because I completed them before the badges were added?

The best team in my opinion is two ninjas up front and a robot and princess in back. That way you get a good coverage all over from the ninjas, the extra candy to get stats early on from the robot, and the stuns from the princess. Be sure to invest points into special, power, and health (in order of importance). Speed is your least necessary stat since it doesn't do much.

pls add desc of chacter atk, and try to add a multi player. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. oh if there is no bosses then add a boss. if there is one sry.

The best thing about the "sea" of bullets one has when using the 3 ninja + cat strategy: There are fish swimming in it.

I found the best team to be 2 robots 2 fairies. The reason being farming the robots ability, vending. Don't kill the slimes and let them follow you, whenever you can use the ability to drop the candy. If aliens are still on the screen the level won't end, allowing you to run around the screen and drop candy while also healing any damage you take with the fairies healing. Try to avoid killing the slimes as long as possible. Only put money into the special stat, and if you have any left over put some in speed. Do this for the first 4 or four stages and you can buy most of the upgrades. I advocate using this technique and also suggest that it is fixed, maybe forcing slimes off screen after a brief time.

The rank bonus caps out at +90. I think I got the Survival badge at level 17 when I only had +75 bonus. Just unlock Cat (one of the first low rank new classes you get) and then do Ninja x3 and Cat x1 (x2 also works, it's just a bit more upgrade-dependent). Focus on literally killing everything on the screen (staying as far back/left as possible helps a *lot*). As long as you don't fall behind, the Guns-Aliens will never be a problem, since they'll always die before they get a 2nd (or 1st!) shot off! Goodluck!

The hard badge is EXTREMELY difficult, at least for me, maybe I don't know some trick. But it's a great game overall, the story mode was a lot of fun, bit lopsided towards ninjas, I think it's literally impossible to beat the game on any mode without ninjas. 4/5 though! Good job, hope there's a sequel.

"Hey guys, the robot seems to dispense candy, but it doesn't matter lets just kept killing the monsters for candy!" Should just opened up the robot for the candy!!!

too repetitive, ranking up is slow and hardly gives you anything, upgrades are hardly noticeable exept for magnet and candy, and all survival is is just 50 waves of the same old same old. the final boss was easier then the normal enemies at level 5, and the boss at level 8 was harder, he actually did some impressive damage. overall it was too slow and rather inconsistant. it had great potental, but fell short of expectations, better luck next time.

Very enjoyable game I played it a few times happily trying out different teams until I eventually just went for an all ninja team, could do with some fine tuning in the way you move around, mostly the slowness of moving up and down. Also I was thinking a sound or something coming up on the screen to let you know your special is ready would be nice, there were a couple of times where I was overrun with enemies and trying to avoid them/their attacks so I couldn't really see if my special bar was full and would try to maneuver into the middle for my special and end up taking a lot of damage because I didn't realise it wasn't ready.

My winning team: 2 cats in the back, 2 ninjas in the front. Dump your candy into your special early and mow everything down.

i like it but like NanakoM said it's terribly balanced what you need to do is basic balancing like make it so that the guys that do only one shot have good power and that the guys that are faster and shoot more shoots have less power and keep tweaking it untell it is right

For anyone wondering like I was, the level cap ends at "Hero" with +90 to all stats. I suggest playing normal mode until you cap out, and then move to survival, it will make things a lot less frustrating. I went with arielaquino's suggestion of ninjas x2, robot x1, cat x1. Put two ninjas diagonal from each other and fill in the empty spots with the cat and robot (it makes for a better spread) Spam spacebar nonstop. Put all into Candy stat with the exception of putting 1 into magnet every couple levels (to accommodate for increased need of dodging). Next max out attack>health>speed>special. Using this strategy I got 30k by the end of level 16.
