Okay, the game is fun, but why the hell is the candy magnetically attractive? This does not seem good for the children.

Not sure why people seem to think ninjas are always the best. The 2st unlocked character, Cat, is a little weaker and a little faster than ninja, and can use Frenzy about half the time, making it MUCH stronger than ninja. The extra speed allows you to outpace enemies by around twice as much at that point, and Frenzy allows you to deal MUCH more damage when you need it. Witches are also solid, as their special stat allows fast recharge, they have decent attack, and Brew allows them to get ninja-like speed and good damage, with more health (As ninja you get 2-hitted). A combination of Cat and Witches gives good damage, speed, and special and decent health, with the special making it AWESOME damage and excellent speed, which will be on around 3/5 of the time.

Really amazing game. I love the possibilities, and the ability to unlock more people. Its awesome how each charecter is very unique, but only using one or two at a time seems best (four ninjas is overpowered. Also two ninjas and two cats is possibly even more overpowered. However, four bunnies is nearly impossible to control when the ability is on. Also, four robots is really fun, or three robots and a fairy) Overall, a really good game. I like this style of graphics, and it was addictive as well, with great replay value (hard to find in a flash game). Props!

Idea: You should make it so that we can see our party stats between levels so that we can better choose which upgrades are needed most!

A fun build to try is the knight and 3 fairies. The knight will tank lots of damage for you, while the fairies heal the damage that does get through.

At first I said "Wow, it's pretty dangerous for these kids to be running in the street." But then we killed a few thousand aliens and suddenly cars don't matter anymore. Also, there's a bug with pause. While paused, you won't shoot, but your shots will still charge (or reload). So abusing pause will get you a higher fire rate at the cost of... convenience.

Skip the ninja squad ... go 4 witches ... upgrade their special ability and eventually they will be able to keep it going almost constantly. Unstoppable :)

The collision detection seems off at times... like, sometimes it looks like you shouldn't run into a monster but you still get hurt. Also, JEEZ those green blobs are fast. Super fun game though.

Idk, I liked 2 superheros in back and 2 ninjas in front. That aside, I was kind of hoping for some sort of ending...I mean, I'm still not even entirely sure I actually won. I think I did; I defeated the king alien's ship then destroyed him. The problem is that then the screen just fades out and goes to the stat screen, exactly the same as when you lose. There is no recognition whatsoever that you did anything special. That's not cool yo.

Three ninjas and cat (or witch until you get cat) seems to be the best combination. Get 3 levels of Candy (which is plenty to beat the game and still upgrade everything fully except Magnet, which you really only need 1 level of) then prioritize the upgrades in the order that they're in on the screen. Attack, Speed, Special, Health and then Magnet once you max all those. Game is fantastic. I love it.

Pretty easy. I like the 4 ninja strategy. Focus upgrades on candy and attack, get speed over health and make sure you have decent special by level 12 there's a bunch of big attack waves from behind. Level 8 has a boss who starts with a 3 shot spread, at half health he'll charge you once and switch to a 5 shot spread. Level 13 boss is big flying saucer flies where you can't hit and summons purple monsters that track onto you, then comes down and occupies top half of screen fires a 4 way spread across rest of screen. Rinse and repeat, at half health will mix firing 4 shots at you in with the 4 way spread

No unlockable character for beating survival?
Also, it would be nice if there were more ranks to help beat survival. Higher ranks would be really great if they unlocked more spots for your squad.

And in this, the Great Candy War, ninjas AND pirates set their differences aside to overcome the alien hordes and protect the sweet treasures. (2 of each, easily made it to the last level.)

LEFT + UP + SPACE pressed simultaneously doesn't work on european keyboards, so an alternate way of using the Special would be appreciated.

Is there a reason why candy corn is the preferred reward? When my upgrades cost150 pieces of candy, I don't want to get 20 candy corns on level 7.

1) We should get melee. We have swords and armor, why can't I shove it in the monster's mouth
2) We should be killing other tricker treaters to take their candy just like in real life.
