Great game. Two Ninjas, two Robin Hoods, fun alien destruction.
30k Survival Score is the beginning of Wave 14, where the bosses start coming out.

Your SPEED is way too slow...no matter the upgrades...stat boosts...its too slow...hard to maneuver...I'd rather spend a little now, save the rest for the other upgrades....3 ninjas and a cat...flawless.

Woah i did that on my second try with 2 ninjas 1 pirate and 1 cat. The pirate is great for enemies that come from behind because of his special 'broadside'. All in all a nice little game, 3/5 just because it's short and there's not much depth!

Only good class is ninja huh? Sorry to say, but a full team of cats is pretty awesome too, full on barrage of fish for it's special

Wave 18, 32759 points, 13609 candy, 2cats, 2ninjas. Rank General. Kept special up as often as I could, Did lots'a vertical movement to 'spread the love' as much as possible. Most waves were either dead or reduced by at least 75% as soon as they arrived onscreen. As long as you prioritize the Gunners the other spawns don't present as much of a challenge. For upgrading I put everything I could into Candy first and filled in the rest with what was left over. My reasoning was that not only would I get the upgrades faster but the candy would contribute to the score. Hope this helps.

Considering that kids actually have the power of their costumes, if next Halloween you see a kid which is dressed like Chuck Norris, RUN TO THE HILLS AND PRAY FOR THE KID NOT TO SEE YOU!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, starting over is so tedious... Normally I wouldn't mind, but it's not like I'm doing a whole lot during these levels. Also, no game should have an onscreen pause button, especially not a shooter that requires constant attention like this one. I shouldn't have to navigate the cursor over to some microscopic pause button while dodging enemies and bullets. Pause key only.

I remember Halloween as a kid. With the killing-the-aliens and the real weapons and special powers me and my friends had. Oh, and sweet costumes. Good times.

i managed to get 31k at wave 18 when all those boss monsters fill the screen. That part is incredibly lame -- it is super easy until that point and at that point there is no possible way to win...so just pick up ALL candies/kill ALL monsters from level 1-18 and you will get ~31k (3 ninja 1 cat)

Despite what people claim and what I initially thought, speed is not useless. Vertical movement speed may not be noticably quicker, but with maxed speed I was able to stay just ahead of the purple slime seekers in survivial whereas with less speed in story I couldn't get them off. Doesn't change the lack of appeal of almost every class though. BTW, 31792 as a Captain with 2 ninjas, a pirate (could've been another ninja but I wanted the extra health and the broadside for when you get that gap in walls coming from behind) and a cat. Completely mows down a good 2 walls of enemies and with max special recharges fast enough you don't need to worry much until wave 15 or 16 if you're any good.

There is a bug about bullets. Or rather a feature. Bullets have limited lifetime of several seconds... and this lifetime continues to tick even under pause. So, if you found yourself before barrage of bullets, click to pause, wait 10 seconds, unpause game - and bullets will disappear. I didn't want to share this bug, but using it i managed to pass wave 18 - and found nothing! My team just keep going on clean empty road infinitely. Obviously, developer though to kill any player on the end of 18 wave and didn't bother to make wave #19 etc. This isn't good, if you want to cut survival (in most games it is infinite), make some trigger after seemingly impossible obstacle. May be there are some geeks, who can overcome that obstacle in any way... and fall into vacuum :( this is kinda disappointing
+ so developer could see it and improve this game

It would be cool if you only started with one character and unlocked more party members as you progressed, perhaps even eventually getting more than 4. perhaps after every mission you get 4 random party members to buy and you can buy all or one or none of them, then give each party member an individual health bar and let you keep playing till they all dies. just a thought.

why would this game get badges? it's under the rating threshold of 4, it's not a particularly good game, and I don't see a single completely positive comment. if this was a beta test, I would be super excited for the completed game, but, as is, movement is too slow, there's a complete lack of balance, and 2 of 4 team stats are virtually worthless. 1/5--could be 5/5, but, as is, it's a disaster
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't think i've unlocked all the characters yet, but the ninja is so far superior to every other class; given the option, I would take 4 ninjas over 8 of any other class. not only are speed and attack the only two important stats, but the ninja also fires 3 projectiles instead of 1. bad job balancing the game...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Has potential, but lacks just so much.
Terrible balance, Health is mostly useless untill wave 5, movement is completely useless since we still cannot move fast enough with it fully upgraded and movement-heavy classes diferent projectiles that we can't know about unless we play the class, lack of tracking for experience/progress that we can see at any time other than our deaths, extremely random drops (first play i got 58 candy at wave 1, second time I only got 27, I picked most of the candy both times, letting only the +1 pass), no feasible way to hit both sides of the screen to get rid of the simetrical distribution of enemies that shoot bullets at me from anywhere on the screen, so i have to choose one side and hope i can dodge the bullets from the other (unless i invest heavily on specials and neglect attack/candy) enemies spawning from my back that cannot be shot at unless you know what each special/projectile behaves like (and you only learn that by playing)...

Hmm finished game yeasterday, started survival, came back today to try and get the hard bage and I need to do the whole fing game again! Crap :(

For the hard badge you need to reach a minimum of wave 18 to get at least 30000 points. Run with the three ninja's + 1 cat combo that NanakoM has provided, it worked for me aswell. Upgrade candy and attack upgrades first at a rate of 2 candy to one attack. If you have spare candy between these upgrades at higher levels spread it evenly between the other stats. After attack and candy max special and health, then the others. After wave 15 and a fully maxed special attack don't hold back and spam specials. Good luck.

Who else thinks Kongregate should just go ahead and add a "ragequit" category of badge? That and a "crappy, sponsored MMO" badge...

Can't figure out what to do to level up faster, is it just play a whole heap of short games? Play a really long one? The levelling system seems inconsistent.

3 ninjas and a cat = ultimate combo
The frenzy special of the cat makes the ninjas shoot like crazy and it lasts so long that you basically have another one ready when it wears off. Wasn't even pressured in survival until the game was like "screw it" and threw 20 minibosses at me at the same time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So apparently, I did so well in survival mode that the guy just decided "screw it" and threw 20 midbosses at me at once. That's one way to end a game.
