To alboy: "all infotrons in all levels" -- no. There is some levels where you can't get all of them. "3 start in each level" -- yes.

This is a wonderful game - I never played the original. Usually I would have given up on a game if I kept getting hit on the head with stuff. This one makes me want to keep on going. One question - Is it actually possible to get all the infobits on every level?

How do i get it to let go of the disks? I simply dont get it. Pressing space doesnt work . Space and arrow doesnt work either. Heeeelp!
Do you mean red disk? You have to collect it and then press and hold spacebar couple of seconds. If you have any problem with this watch tutorials (press '?' button in the upper right corner during game). If you still have any problem post it here or PM me.

Found another thing in mechanics that differs: lvl 53. That spot where stones are shaped like V and there is a infotron on the top of V. So if i let them fall, stones from left fall 1st and then the infotron, then stones and infotron fall from right, but it should be like that stones fall before and then infotrons. You are right. There are small differences like this one. In overall it shouldn't make impact on game feelling and you still should be able to finish level. I spent a lot of time trying to be 100% correct but I couldn't. Anyway, good catch and I hope you still like it as much as original :D.

Reminds me a lot of the game "Boulder Dash" which I think this is a copy of. It doesn't matter though this game is still a good example of how much could be done with so few resources and still turn out an awesome game,
Amazing. I've never thought that someone could beat it so fast :). Congratulations. You are 1st person who beat all levels with 3 stars in Supaplex Remake! I have to think about Supaplex Speed Run contest for people like you in a future :). I added info in fanpage: http://www.facebook.com/SupaplexRemake/posts/218137881662655

Sorry, can someone just confirm for me... Am I somehow over complicating this game, or is it really as hard as it seem? I'm LOVING this... but I have a horrible feeling there's people out there who can finish a level in 20 seconds when it's taking me 15 mins (and I'm only half way through this one).
Yes, this game is rather hard. If you are playing for the first time - don't bother to time. Believe me, there are even levels you will be solving for hours :). I'm glad you love it!
UPDATE: Remember also that exit is opened after 1 star and you can then finish level. You can back later to that level and get 2 or 3 stars.

Best game at Kongregate :) You are the MAN, i love it :D
I still remember the good way at labyrint :D :D
Thank you, you make my day... or week :D

This is exactly Supaplex:D I still remember some of the levels... Are you the creator of the supaplex of years ago? If not, didn't you have to deal with copyright issues?

Diff. 4: when explodes two electrons (blue moving objects) in original version they produce much less infotrones (2nd doesn't produce any and deletes existing).
You do not have to collect all the items in any of the levels. After 1 star you can go to exit. Limit that is shown in the top left corner is for 3 stars and it's the same limit that was in original game to open exit.
Most frustrations was the result of 2 issues: lacking of save/load functionality and need to collect all items to finish levels. I addressed those 2 issues. You can save/load at any time (S/L keys) and you can finish level as soon as you collect 1 star (which is around 60-65% of all items).

I would like to thank everyone for their support and very nice comments. I was afraid of negative comments, but I was wrong. Thanks to you I have the motivation to improve my skills in creating games. You are amazing!
I don't think it's related to bugs (I tested it very carefully). I guess people rate it after couple of seconds and don't dive into the game :(. Graphics is also not good comparing to todays standards. Anyway, thanks for adding it to your favorites games!

One of my all time favorite games! I noticed you added a change in his face when going up or down. Nice!
I miss the screen going sideways at the end of the level, but this is really, really REALLY neat. THANK! 5/5

Holy mother of cow! :D Dude, I love you, I love you with the purest feeling as can only get! :D Insta 5/5 and my eternal gratitude! :D
I understand you 100%!:) Play other levels and back to it when you gain more experience with game physics. I can assure you that after some time it will be amazing easy level.
Remember that you don't have to collect all items. After 1 star pops u you can go to exit and finish level. Also you can seelct 2 levels ahead of current one if you are stucked. Good luck!

I'm only 14, but I remember this game. I used to play it on my aunt's computer when I was around 4-7 years old. When I saw a remake for it in the web, I didn't have to think twice about playing it again.

Difference 3: in lvl 53 where 2 infotrons lie after some bombs, in original game they fall together (after all left and right bombs).

What a surprise... It's first time I meet a game named "Supaplex", although the rules here seems to be almost the same as in "Boulder Dash". It's interesting, that in the 90's there were rip off's too :)

Oh right, but to be honest I'm not sure how the site will take to this. It's a remake, but there isn't too much that's remade about it. Essentially it still consists primarily of other people's work, and kong often doesn't like that, for good reasons. Idk, we'll see.
Yeah, you are probably right. But I did it for couple of reason: original company which released this game doesn't exist. Supaplex is kind of forgotten and I wanted to give it second life. If it were not I would not do that.

Save and load is pretty nice. Unfortunately this also still has that terribly unforgiving old-school feel to it, like back in the olden days when they never actually checked to make sure their games weren't more frustrating than fun. I think maybe that's why we have an obesity problem right now; back in the old days you'd play a game that, say, let you get 3/4 of the way to the end then would laugh and say "Haha, you don't have this one item you need! Time to start over!" or "Haha, you made a bad decision 8 levels back! Now you lose! Have fun playing it all again!", which would invariably make you rage quit and hate the game...except the majority if games were like that, so you'd wind up saying "Screw this shit." and going outside instead.

it's ok... but i find the controls could be tightened up a bit. i find when i'm reversing direction that the character doesn't really respond, particularly in tight situations. other than that, good remake.

2nd difference detected: in original game after about 40 seconds of not doing anything Aplex makes gape and sad face after it. This happens 2 more times, after which (is there is something from left or right) falls sleep.
5/5 for idea :)

I love this game! My 1st computer game i've played on i80286 computer in about '93 year. ^_^
One thing in mechanics that differs: when 2 orange disks fall at the same time on near titles explode from right centers 1 title higher then left explode.
Company which released Supaplex doesn't exist anymore. The game has been released as free couple years ago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supaplex ). Game has already couple of clones (but they need to by downloaded/installed etc.). I did it because I wanted give this game second life. I think it is forgotten and this remake is a chance to show people that old games could be still very playable and enjoyable. Read others people comments. I did it for those people.

Truly epic! High five for those who remember that game, and high five too for those that are about to see how old games used to rock!
