You should set the default speed level of the game to "3", like it was in the original game, most of the levels are design for that speed anyway.
I vaguely remember this level as a time-trial one, where you needed to complete it fast. Perhaps the amount of stars given for it would be determined by the time it was finished? I too vote for placing it a bit far ahead, like after 20-25th.

Another option would be to just simply relocate the level to appear later... do I still don't understand why is it that hard.
This level is not hard but is rather boring. Seriously, I can't find any reason why this kind of level exists. IMHO it doesn't fit to the rest of the game at all. Even if I don't remove it I will probably change order so it won't be 2nd level :).

DoN't remove anything! Just give them some hint or tip, or a walkthrough link! Do not dare to defile the memory of this game!:)
Goal is the same: get as many infotrons as you can (but you have to eat enough of them to open exit) and go to exit. What is different is the set of problems you have to solve to get those infotrons :).

wow, i played this game so much in the good old "dos" time! The only remark, the original had an irritating starting screen, this one is an improvement, but not by much.... For the rest, cheers for bringing this game back in my memory!

Please just give a 5/5 if you like this super-retro game so we can have our badges, like a lot one of my first games ever played and a good one too (still if i knew i could eat without moving as a child, i would be happier :)

I remember playing this game, when I was just a kid. I found it very hard, but duh... I was 8 years old or something. Many years later I stumble upon this game and realise that this game IS actually hard.
Yes, it's hard but I can't remember any other game which gave me so much satisfaction when I finished it. I remembed that when I finish last 111 level I thought "F*** yeah, I did it!"

To lyankyj: maximum? oO In some levels there is VERY hard to determine maximum possible number of infotrones that you can collect (for example lvl 85 "A Pro's work" or lvl 104 "Chaos").

Radarek, there should be a small text box at the top on each level (and on level selection page below the pictures of each levels) showing the maximum number of available Infotrons on given level!!
I wrote message to Kongregate and they replied that game has to low score :(. Maybe if more fans would poke them then they will add bages? I would love to see them...

Oh no, not THIS game again - Did I not get rid of it when I packed my old 486 machine and threw it to basement? The Horror of countless afternoons me and my friends spent to beat all those levels.. Agggh I can't bear it... What next, Fracas?
But seriously - great work on remaking the old classic, brings back so many memories :) 5*

Popcorn, I thought! Then came level 3. I think the tolerance level for rage quit was quite lower in the 90's. I remember playing days of boulder dash on my c64. I am not sure if my keyboard would survive that nowadays...
You are absolutely right with tolerance level. I tried to keep the spirit of original Supaplex and give todays players chance to like this game - that's why I added save/load and stars elements.

I remember in college downloading a version of this game. Well Boulderdash, but it also had this game intact too. Brings back good memories.

OMG! I am first time in this web giving 5 start to the game! Very nice work, thanks! Supaplex is our childhood game. Beautiful memories revived thanks for that! ;)

My favourite DOS game EVER!!! Thank you, 5 stars!!
By the way I don't agree with the save/load option, makes it a LOT easier... the real hard achievement is to beat the game without saving.. :) Oh good old times...

Hate it when you slip up after actually finishing the level and kill yourself, lol. Just got like 70/60 on level 4 and I killed myself while clearing up all the green :C
I always loved clearing green.
I asked Kongregate why they don't add badges and the answer me that my game has too low rating... Maybe if some fans of this game would ask for it they will add it anyway? You can try :).

This version is even better than the original. Now I don't have to play the same level over and over and over again just to get that one impossible to reach infotron. Even though I probably will just to get that third star.
