bullsh*t. Unless I had like an intelligence rating of 15 for the second emergency in the game there was nothing I could do about those wolves. Well, anyway, time to go water some drinks down at the tavern . . . .

Oh my god, 3 or 4 times until I got the badge. The best guide is shoutout to kyuuketsuki4 because all above didn't helped me or made my run bad at the end. Max all villagers. The guide is for easy badge best ending full morale XD.
Start with Lissara and do always patients, so you can do *alcohol* and *heal the fox*. Then go to Chieftain and always help miners to do *herbs* and *tell what's necessary*. Continue with Kira and choose "herbs" until *calm down the guy* and *treat her wounds*, then always "scout" until maxed even after doing *move boulders*. Switch to tavern and clean floor, then *help with the building yourself*, so dont do speech.

I played this years ago, but played again yesterday. The first time I got 30% morale, and at the end the storm damaged a lot of the village and I had to leave. I played again and got 100% morale, there was minor damage, and I got to stay. The third time I got morale to 100%, and it would have gone to 110 or 120 if it had been able. Then for the last decision I decided to try inspiring the villagers instead of building myself. My charisma was 16--but it wasn't enough, and morale went to 90% for the end. And as far as I can tell I got the same ending as I did with 30%, having to leave the village. I tried again and succeeded in inspiring the village with 18 charisma. I'll add that you probably don't need agility at all. Early on you should mainly get intelligence up, then charisma, and strength for the last few days.

I wish there was a way to mute the sfx and music. Not because they're bad, but because I'm watching something on another screen and having them play makes that difficult. If I'm overlooking the option please let me know!

I made every correct decision right up until the very end because I didn't have enough charisma and I had to play the entire game a third time :,)

Lissara and Kira have been doing their jobs since they were 7, and they're 20 now. If we assume that since they were self taught and learnt slower, we can say that they instead earned +1 intelligence/agility every day. this means that every day (except for 60 days per year, for a total sum of their free days) we can say that every year they got 305 intelligence/agility, along with about 152,5 points into other stats respectively, then multiply this by 13, this means Lissara and Kira have over 3965 points into their main stat and over 1982 points into two secondary stats. Kira and Lissara are overpowered.

I named myself Nina and the fox Poe after the little painter boy in Beasts of Abigaile =D (you all should read it, my fav YA manga!)

Agility appears to be used for ONLY one check, and that's saving the woman by running for Lissara rather than doing it yourself. Welp, sorry Kira stans but the best outcome is from not talking to best girl forever :,]

deliver potions until the fox is healed, then find herbs. After that, clean the tavern until the guy leaves, and work for chieftain until you have at least 10 strength and just balance out the stats in the end.

Interesting story and a fun interactive game. Also Lissara has the same letters as my real name but switched, such a coincidence!

Oh yes, and I thought if the INT was high enough, the chara would have just thought of hiding in the mines for the storm.

Another lovely game from you! Replayed 3x, each ending getting better and better. It's easy when you write things on paper. I've always enjoyed making paper notes to games. So I just mined until I was told to do some other work, and then it's medic or tavern. I would have reacher 120 morale if it was there. I was guessing my chara would become the next chieftain maybe, if they were extremely successful. :D
I also want to replay a bit more to see various reactions to other choices.

I named my fox Sly. For those who don't know why see https://www.kongregate.com/games/Kajenx/william-and-sly and its sequel.

"Oh, your family member suddenly passed away and you didn't even have a clue they were dying? Well, if this game we're in wouldn't have forced me to sugarcoat their medical status for you, in order to keep the overall morale of the village high, so I could get the best ending, then I would have done the decent thing and been upfront with you all."

@aaaaaaa00000 iirc there aren't any new Kongpanions being released anymore, they're all ones that existed before. unless they change their mind, but it seems pretty final.

I was a warrior/mercenary before my accident. I am an outlander, so studying with the medic in the second play through in order to deal with the wolves just felt wrong.
And why does not one person just use the caves I've been mining and scouting out in preparation for shelter from the storm?!? I mean, I hate it, but that's the whole reason I've been going almost every day. And the people just ignore me. I told the guy in the tavern about it to calm him down and he just looked at me like I was insane.

Wow, that's awfully bleak and discouraging. "Hey, here are ten lines about what a failure you were! We could have just said "it wasn't enough", but instead let's bludgeon you with the brutal results of your arbitrarily horrible judgement! How dare you play our game without checking for a walkthrough! That'll teach you!"

Does anyone else only play Kongregate games for points (and only gets BOTD) and it's more a chore than actual fun? At least I have already played most of the HTML5 games that have BOTD for the last months.

Delightfully atmospheric, and the characters are nice to be around and get to know...for the first run. But the choice system requires way too much foreknowledge to reasonably get by in one go (what skills you'll need and when, how much points are actually enough points, straight up rug-pulling bullshit like 'there was actually a guy under the rocks that we never mentioned and because you didn't waste your time digging through boulders they died, lose ten points loser') and there's just not enough going on to get out of a second playthrough, not much change you can impact or foreshadowing to pick up on or enjoyable gameplay loops to go through. So in the end you just end up reading a walkthrough while skipping through the text and draining whatever connection you had to these babbling text boxes because yeah, I *could* bash my head against an unchanging wall fiddling with the skill numbers with zero feedback, but that's just not fun nor interesting. 2/5.

i think i found an art glitch, something happened with kira avatar, kira has a scar. i think its using the old art data, and its only kira that has it as of day 9. fixed in the cutscene. day 10-14, kira is still using the other art style, no others.
day 15, art is back to normal. morale:20, we all died.
play 2: i named myself lissara, it's funny when lissara, the other one, talks to me, and when kira mentions both of us. day 9: no art glitches yet, though i didnt talk to kira till day 11. day 11, kira's art is glitched, again. day 15, kira is back to normal. morale:40, some died, we lived, but are exiled because of lack of room.
play 3: you can name yourself "". all you need is 9 int for the wolf saving. 80/100 morale early on! i might actually survive this. day 10: kira's art has not changed. by day 14 morale has reached 100/100, ive never gotten it this high before. we all survived and i was offered to stay, very different than the first one i got where the roof caved in.

Games are supposed to be interactive movies. This is an interactive book. It talks about what's happening, but I can't actually participate in the events it describes. 3/5

This whole game consists of choosing to work at random places and seeing stats go up with some boring story in between and supported by ugly overworld graphics and decent looking portraits albeit low resolution because it's a browser game. Players have no idea what to choose so they choose at random. If morale decreases too often, you lose.

Doesn't need flash, 10/10. Okay, jk; I really did enjoy the game, but honestly the ESC option to jump all dialogue was very very useful to get the badge since I was doing every single wrong thing possible in my first playthrough. lol I was trying to keep every stat kinda the same so never had enough points for any event. Glad we can "choose" the ending! =D But I would love to actually see them!
