So I just beat again on the hardcore and more of a challenge is needed =P Loved it! Really though my highest level guy was 28 and I only used 3 for combat and missions. Had 2 farming cash. I really didn't get to experience everything all the weapons and gear. Just wanted more and more difficult, or at least an option hardcorex2 lol. Endless is okay but longer game time and more active challenge is how I like my zombies. =P lol. Oh ya your intro, Top Notch!! LIKE: how you have total control and strategy TOTALLY matters. A++ Suggestions: IF paused when enter info/buy screen it stays paused upon exiting, let me be able to stop a unit where he is and start shooting not walk to the next tile because he is standing in it. Anyway 5/5 again, gonna try another strat but prob no long term replay >( looking forward to 2!!! =) Cheers!
Thank you, :) if you have any sugestions for the sequel shoot them here : http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3-general-gaming/topics/248202-awaken-2-taking-sugestions

"Tip: Don't forget to build barricades" Sarge, you get those barricades up already? Yes sir! Well there they hell are they? Oh ya, there was that last round of budget cuts .. sh!t!

Its a good game and i like it but Really i got verry mad cause the game keeps stoping to show me tips and it resets the commands i give like if i have a soldier clicked and goin to make him move the game stops to give me a dam tip that i already know and when i click play again i have to click the soldier again to make him move and its already dead... didint go further than the 8 wave... 3/5 :) <- atleast :)

That was fun, awesome graphics and interface. Really nice job. I look forward to another one, I would like to see quicker movement. A campaign or something of that nature would be cool. But great game 5/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what happened to the barricades!? Barricades were a good option too! I would love it if you could get yourself a turret, but you'll need somebody to man it or something. Having more than just 6 units would be great too!

Well anyway , Un-glueing myself from this chair has been a tough decision for these past few hours , i've been forgeting to save , train , buy , and hack the turret and yet i still keep clicking new game... and my phones on top of my wardrobe so this can't endwell...

The developer should be given 5 stars for timely responses if not for the game it self. I hope you consider my earlier requests in your sequel.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Im sad to see you removed the barrier , although the radar upgrade was the only thing i knew what would happen with it , the other option never made sence to me so i suppose the radar only would make sence . R.I.P steve the barrier . But im still glad your replying to almost everyone and getting plenty of feedback (WELLDONE :D) I hope to see more games like this in future since your probably one of the fastest responding producers on here so its always going to be a 5/5 for me , if it changes you know im one of them :)

The game concept is awesome! but seriously the build function needs to come back and the ai is really crappy...looter will not obey command to shoot instead they will shoot on command and then go back to looting without even killing the zombie...that is really crappy

"Developer response from Ramos_emanuel
Bullets dont go trough your soldiers, you want a soldier to fire in ennemi and hit another soldier?"
Have an option to drop to a firing position- down on one knee- making them immobile, upping accuracy, and allowing friendly fire to pass overhead. Thus you can have two lines of fire at once- Much like they actually do.

Also, to Sakon_Shima. Try using shotguns and remember that in this game, quality is better than quantity. Also remember quality troops will trump money. Money you can get plenty of later on @350 a pop + but trying to build a guy up 20 lvls is a much harder thing to do.

I should mention this minor glitch. If you use a say rifle or something that you can have 9 mags of ammo with and buy the machine gun. You will have 9 clips of machine gun rounds vs regular max of 4. Nothing big as this gets used up eventually but just letting you know :).

plus how the hell do u get sandbags and all of that in the game cause i can't even get my guys any cover to slow thw dam zed down so they don't get killed as fast
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
man it's too dam hard even on easy i always get my canned kicked at wave 21 and i can't even get enough money to get better equipment for my guys cause it's really making me frustrated just trying to get them to have enough speed and crank out more damage and become a tank all at once

One of the best games I ever played. Could you make the time between waves a bit longer so I have time to reach the objectives?

5/5 I love this game. I don't say that to often though. I play tons of strategy games and this one just blew me away. Just wanted to say that again since it is so true. Anyway for the sequel maybe you can have different stats affect the charecter like if he is tall then he is faster but is easier to hit behind cover, or if he is big then he is super slow but starts out with more health. The possibilities are endless. So, since you wanted ideas I'm just throwing that out there. Thank you for such a wonderful game :)

i beat hardcore.......easy lol i put the guys to loot the $15 and paused at every shotfire at the zombies. Its a nice glitch ur bullets dont wastes and if u get a shotgun u own with no reload just wait till u hear it shoot then pause it then unpause and free bullets once again imma say it again lol i beat hardcore at level 70(cuz i got bored and fix the car lol)

Cool music, cool controls, good replayability but its quite hard (yeah, even in easiest level)... Could u turn the dificulty down so all the players may enjoy it? Nice game anyway, 4/5

Awesome Game ! :)
After playing a few times I came up with this... When game starts sit in back in a line and buy them all first shotgun. Next buy the 1500 shotgun. Next buy 5000 armor (the one with ammo and accuracy). Upgrade only strength at first then upgrade only intelligence both to lvl 10. Try to lvl them up at the same time by putting one in front of the other if one is lagging too far behind. Then go straight for the 15000 big gun. The one with seemingly unlimited ammo. Also buy goggles for the 3 and medkit later for easy regen. While doing all this recruit runners to go fix the cars. Dont worry too much about them living. All that matters are your 3 guys. If you wanted to go further and not finish the game up quick then just buy another health equip and upgrade armor further.

This game is impossible. I cant repair things as soon as possible, I have to wait a couple rounds to get to do the next thing. Eventually, its round 30, and I cant do anything but die.

"Ramos_emanuel responded to your comment on Awaken: Front Line: “They wont fire if enemi is not in range of weapon lol , thank you for the feedback”."
- It's not that. They can be standing right beside them and they won't fire. They have ammo, and are in range. It's a bug that happens a lot when you're standing beside a team mate, or when a nearby team mate is being attacked.

This game is incredible, here's my suggestions for future updates/sequels: Pathing needs to be corrected, a lot of times my guys have a clear path to somewhere but they wont go unless I micro manage them along it. AI as many have stated should be your #1 priority for a sequel. The AI is good enough here for sure, and I 5/5'd the game, but if it would be improved it would be... 6/5? And the last thing is more expansion- more guns, armor, slots for defenders, possibility to build turrets, ammo boxes, etc. Wider area where sandbags can be placed... perhaps buildable bunkers? Bigger maps maybe? And if you were going to do a sequel I'd suggest a campaign where you have multiple missions of this length with different maps and objectives. Perhaps your soliders transfer with skills and equipment from map to map? Anyways, I only suggest because I think your game is great and I look forward to seeing what you do going forward!

Good Game . I Like Play This Game .
But How Can I TAKE COVER ? Where Can Buildings ?
I Can't Find it ... how to Buildings Or upgrade
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is great except for the AI, they have no self sufficency whatso ever. I tell them to kill 1 zombie, there are 10 behind it, and then he continues to forage.,....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really can't stand it when the soldiers stop firing even though they have ammo. They just stand there, watching their team mate get killed. That's my only big flaw. It's a very good game.

Should probably remove that tip telling you to build barricades if they've been removed from the game. Very confusing 'till I searched through the comments!
4/5, very fun game, but could use some improvement. Sad to hear build mode was removed before I could try it. Should have made it not-useless instead of removing entirely. Replayability could easily be added by having optional objectives, and more flexibility/balance in weapons (assault rifles underpowered late game, everything utterly overshadowed by the minigun).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
(cont'd) Deagle should also either be much higher damage at its slower ROF (to represent the recoil and massive damage from the caliber) or removed entirely (as it's not a military weapon. Most trained gunmen will shirk the weapon for having too much recoil, when what you want from a gun is precision on multiple shots). If you want a big nasty pistol that throws around big rounds, use any that use the .454 Casull round. Otherwise, pistols should be relegated to very accurate, fast speed, but generally weak guns (still, varying what each gun takes instead of just the weakass 9mm that you see most often would allow heavier damage ratios on higher end guns- as would hollow round/tungsten carbide/HEAT/HEIAP/incendiary rounds, to not just boost damage but allow for much more replay via customization. Heavier rounds actually KBing the zombies back via some simple physics calculations would make heavy pistols wanted because they fit the heavy ammo/high knockback zone but have lots of ammo.
