Just upgraded my operating system and STILL CAN'T PLAY! Urg! Why is this game so difficult? 3 years ago I had played it & beat it, maybe the developers are worried. :-(

really? You complete all the levels, and the screen at the end only says "submit score"? needs something a little more interesting for as long as it takes to get through all the levels!

This would be a five star game except that pieces seem to fall in the least favorable pattern several times before they will move where they logically should. At one point, one of my jewels refused to move from the second to last row. Seven times I cleared both positions below it and it just locked in place as the other pieces flowed around it on both sides.

Frequently I'll elminate the chip below an objective several times, and a piece other than the objective will fall. This happens multiple times in a row, and is borderline gamebreaking.

Very good but a couple of suggestions. make keys/treasures swappable and how about every time you get a long line (or mega combo) get a time bonus.

@ morningstar8 - there is already a way to turn off the music! Both in the title screen and when you 'pause' the game. But I agree with you about replaying levels, that's a good suggestion.

Love the game, thanks! The difficulty level is enough to keep me drawn in, but not insanely hard. A few suggestions: (1) After all levels are done, let the user return to any previous level. (2) Give the user a way to turn off the music, which becomes too repetitive after playing awhile.

Let me explain what this game does to your brain: Every time you hit a triplet, you get a tiny boost of dopamine. You feel just a little bit happy, a tiny bit. It quickly receeds. Next time, you get another boost. Because of the hex layout, you get a LOT of triplets. Thousands and thousands. So your brain is constantly producing little spurts of dopamine while you play it. Thus it's compulsively playable even if not exactly fun. The end result is that you feel burned out due to dopamine exhaustion.
As well as this, it's intensely left brain, and can exhaust the analytical pattern finding side of the brain. It's a really mentally exhausting game to play.
This is a good game. I have it five stars. It's very challenging and a good twist on the theme. It's very well programmed. But I have to be honest, this game is very bad for your mental health. I just beat it, and I feel absolutely listless and awful.

Can a game be sadistically difficult, mind numbing, and yet still fun? Well, no. This game isn't exactly fun. But it is compulsively playable. I played it all the way through, I have no idea how.

I'm glad I've beaten the game... you need so much concentration because of too much visual effects... but beside that: great game!

I dont know the author of this game test this game or play this game himself or not. if he did, he must be a luck man to finish it. 16min is enough to finish a level? no way!! i am stuck in the level on the top right corner, never seems to finish on time. Most of the spells arent useful at all.

The background music really make a huge bonus to this game and it keeeps me playing!! Any information of that song? author?

I really wanted to like this game for the graphics and the challenges; however, my cursor kept freezing , which in a timed game is a real pain in the a##. It also caused the mouse cursor to go off the page, pausing the game. There is no quality reduction ability which might have resolved the problem.

It's kind of like Rise of Atlantis by Playrix on the iPad. Unfortunately I don't think in hexagons, so this game was unusually difficult.

I like this game, but what really bothers me is that sometimes when I want some treasure/key to fall...it just doesn't fall. Seriously. It needs to be less random in how it decides for things to fall, or to have some limit for the non-movement.

I also gave myself eye-strain playing this game, but I completed all the levels. Here are a few requests I'd love to see implemented in a future version: Ditch the random swap and random remove powers and replace with an "add time" power. Allow the swapping of key and prize tiles instead of having them locked. Make the levels slightly shorter and smaller. (The sense of accomplishment for having finished should happen more often.) Perhaps make the tiles slightly more graphical and less illustrative to ease the eyes.

The constant pulsing flickering and what not detract from the game in that it just ruins ones ability to concentrate. the music is ok but needs a longer loop.
3/5

OH amd please get a mute music funcyion quickly.I dont mind listening to game sounds but the music is almost as bad as stuff Simon Cowell produces out of his stable of crap

nice game, but would be even better if
a) the "hey look at me, i am the gem"-flashing would be able to disable, plus a button "show left gems"
b) the tiles had images too choose from (one for fancy fast cpu, one for tiny little netbookscreens, one for people with limited ability to distinguish between purple and blue twinlooking tiles)
c) you get a question after failing a level for the third time "do you want maybe some more time?" (and if "yes" granting another 30 sek, repeating that question every three times on failing the same stage)
