the biggest issue with this game is the control system. it sucks to see a wooden piece fly around in a circle and eat up 20 moves just to be moved one spot.

Please make the controls less sensitive. As I attempt to move a block, it goes backing and forth. It's nearly impossible to get a good score with the jerking. Thanks.

I still don't like that the angle and control of blocks causes you to move a block all over the place before you get it in the spot you want. Just makes it physically difficult to get a low number of moves all because of a camera angle choice.

Well, I have to say this is a bit more original than the usual puzzle game and the music and sound effects were very entertaining, but the controls were not very smooth or controllable. This made for a very frustrating play, especially seeing all the trophies that had to do with moves. 3/5

Thanks for reviews, we try to improve controls, but it's hard to do it ideally because of the isometric view. You don't need to worry about moves counter as it's only an additional challenge. Also we decided to make trophies with moves easier.

I've got say I liked the old map of Wooden Path 1 better, because it was more interesting, and you had multiple choice. Otherwise, good improvements. 4/5

Also, version 1 was so much harder, the last badge had me going for almost 2 and 1/2 years! Please 1. add badges to this one, and 2. improve the difficulty.

The control system is lame to get all trophies, but a way to solve it, would be to have an UNDO BUTTON, so all unnecessary moves could be nullified

Very nice game. I like the first version and this one adds many cool new features.
I agree with others that the controls are fare from perfect. Click to select and cursor keys would be much better.
And batches would be nice too.

The boxes line up with the grid that the tip of your mouse cursor is on. It's not intuitive, but once you realize this, it's easier to have precise control. (Focus on where your cursor is, rather than where the box is).

What I wanna know is how these people are able to get out into the middle of a deep river to slide peices of bridge around.

Please for the next one in the series keep us colorblind gamers in mind! It was impossible to complete some of the levels without guesswork.

Wooden Path is one of my favourite puzzle games. I played it back in 2009 when it was released here and loved it. Somehow I totally missed this second part and only found it now that I remembered and wanted to play the original. THANK YOU! :D

If there had not been move limited achievements in game, the jerky control system would just have been a minor annoyance, hardly worth deducting points from. As it stand I have to restart a level just becasue the pieces decided to go for a world tour. Add keyboard controls for precision movements please.

@purple1001 There's a reason why creators of games add numbers onto their original game title, it's to notify players that it is a continuation of the same series as opposed to a completely different one. Of course they could add an extension to the original title such as "Wooden path: The gold path" but that's more lengthy than just adding a 2 and not quite as catchy. Other then that, great game iffy controls, 4/5 for the music though.

Why does it say "not bad" when I do it perfectly? That alone makes me hate this game. "Not bad" should be what you get for completing it at say.. bronze level.

to fix the sensitivity problem, how about making it to where u can click on a bridge/block and then use the arrow keys or wasd keys to move it

This game has brought a new level of challenge to the already difficult puzzle. It has many new challenges making my mind work even harder. It's more organized and the new obstacles bring a whole new level of difficulty. For those who don't enjoy this genre of game just don't play it instead of people a total ass about it. This is a great game 5/5

Original, and the gameplay is pretty good. I don't really care about scores. Why should anyone? I mean geez guys! It's a game, why does the flippin score matter? Just have fun! I mean that in the nicest possible way.

This second version is good, I really loved the first one, and still haven't solved some of the last puzzles! However, the pieces do not move as smoothly as the original game. I like some of the new concepts, like the colour teleports, but I do find the clunky movement a bit annoying in this second one. I have only gone through Beginners, will make further comments as I progress.

what a good update would be...or possible something to include in a 3rd game is: Instead of click and drag. Just use the mouse to HIGHLIGHT and block/bridge. and then use wasd or arrow keys to move said block. that would be much better

To address controls problems many of you have reported, we've made an update. Now, tiles under the cursor highlight, so you know where blocks will go to exactly and the movement should be more predictable.

I loved me some wooden path, but I'm not totally sold on this sequel. The game got a lot of dressing up. This makes it lag a little. This is entirely unnecessary. One of the charms of Flash games is their simplicity. Here, with easily represented puzzle elements, we don't need window dressing to enjoy the game. In fact, if our enjoyment comes from window dressing, I'd say there's something wrong.

First, movement control is not accurate enough and too sensitive that it needs to be enhanced. This point has been mentioned for too many times in the comments by others. Second, steps count is a good thing. However, not only is timing not needed, it disturbs my playing as well. Third, this game does not allow me to go back to previous maps does it? I need a way to go back to those maps to perfect my scores. Other than these, great game, nice sequel.

A decent puzzle game but after I was done with the beginner map I didn't feel like playing the rest. The game didn't really captivate me. I agree that it could use some better controls but it's not as bad as balance776 says it is. The controls are not the greatest but you are able to use them well enough to get most of the movement achievments.

Definitely not the worst sliding puzzle game I've played. Normally I don't like them, but this one seems fun and innovative.

lol there's already a "solutions" up so countdown until the high scores are flooded by copycat talentless badge hunting morons who just like to get their names ranked up instead of actually playing the game and earning it. just wait until one of the top 5 comments is someone whining about how there are no 'achievements' cause all the lil johnny's need their 'gold stars' for being able to take a leak without help (oh wait, they can't win games like this that aren't button mashers without a walkthrough, guess they need help after all)
