Nice game, love the whole don't look back thing. Unfortunately once I got upstairs the game became unplayable due to an ultra low framerate. I have a pretty decent graphics card, and other Unity games run fine, so it seems like the game could do with some more optimization. 4/5, would be 5/5 if it was optimized.

giving it a 5 just because I'm a big baby and too afraid to play it. I got to the "Run, never look back" and was too tempted to look back and knew I would freak if I did, so I quit the game. =)

Very well done, but a bit laggy on higher quality. A quality option without leaving the game would be nice. And yes, I did look behind.

the game needs to touch down the rendering clip, especially in the second level with your particles. would probably run amazingly as a download, but not so much online it seems.

Lastly, I would like to adress a little thing that bugged me. In the first level you can only pick up the fork after seeing the key. Before that the character comments on the table when you click the fork. Don't do that. The user will identify the fork as part of the scenery and not as usable object. This can become very frustrating. If something can be used make it clear to the player right away.

It's really good game. The visuals are simply stunning. 5/5 and favourited, but I still think that a few things need to be done. Having to start all over is a pain. Add checkpoints (e.g. after having finished a step of a puzzle) or give the player the ability to save whenever he wants to. It lags like hell in the second level, even on the medium setting. Since I am not a developer I do not know whether it was possible to change something without serious negative effects on the quality of the game's visuals, but if there are, please use them. Maybe the level was so big that together with the visuals it simply was to much for the system?

This feels very, very Amnesia: Dark Descent inspired (that's a very good thing).
I'm curious to know if you've played it, and would love to see what you could get up to with their dev tools.

i was really getting into it then lag struck (i have an awesome comp so its not me) i hit esc to turn down the graphics but it wasnt there... The problem lies that you are trying to render so many things at once and with the dynamic effects and lighting only makes it worse.

I don't see the fasination, Instead of giving an inventory, You spend most of your time running around to get stuff you can't pick up until the just when you need it or you can pick it up but then find you need something else, 1/5 for wasting time by not having an inventory

The noise and the scream in the starting room annoyed me. It starts starts every 10 seconds... and the scream is every 40 seconds. Would have been cooler if it was random and less often. Wish I could turn it off. Needs Volume control. Wasn't able to play the game because of that.

Nice artwork. The lighting has issues in that the torch keep sgoing through the wall. Givern the other games this week I had seriouslky hoped "Unity" had gotten over it's glitches, but alas this is not true here. Several crashes. Le Sigh. I really can't vote very high for a "Spot the pixel" game at the best of times, and this one has a few other issues. Not the least of which is it being too dark when the lighting has problems. Unless you have REALY good sound all or mostly dark doesn't work very well in computer games. Though that may be a personal opinion, that's why we vote, yes?

Really good job here. Really like the mood you put in this game. Overall, 4 stars. The last star is a bit of a personal taste. I may be in the minority here, but while I felt REALLY creeped out by the little kid stalking me (kudos), I didn't feel especially imperiled. My personal taste, add in some more devious and creepy puzzles and add in more chances to screw up and die in later chapters and it'll be solid for me. Again, since it is a personal taste issue and there is no other issue to complain about, I'll bump this game to a 5 star. Keep up the good work!

I'm afraid to look behind :P This game has some very good atmosphere. And It's probably the first of it's kind. A 3D first person "Escape the room game." It's very addicting, and the item system is good. Instead of most games where there's hundred of completely pointless items that you don't need, this game mainly has just those you do need. This game is definately faved! 5 stars!
