Fun glitch, the music doesn't play. So this is going to take a lot of grinding to see if it's for all levels or just the first one. Wish me luck!

I got the Easy badge in 2012, the Medium badge in 2013... And at the very least, reached the requirements to get the Hard badge after replaying in 2023.
The hardest part of not dying is the lasers, change my mind.

Got Easy and Medium Badges on March 11, 2013. Got Hard Badge on December 15, 2015. That should give people an idea of how difficult it is to beat every level without dying.

Level 16 'Hard as it gets' was by far the most difficult to perfect. Titles of later levels imply they are harder but they are not even close.
@sirgarberto lasers are working correctly. They hit you only if they touch a white dot in the center of your ship.

@sirgarberto You realise the single white pixel in the centre of your ship is the only hitbox, right? And the red bullets only hit you if they touch that dot *exactly*? Because that's about as small of a hitbox as you can get lmao.

I think the main reason the difficulty ratings in this game seem inconsistent is that the developer didn't take the power of charge-up attacks into account. Some levels have targets that shoot things directly beneath them, or at you, so you can't sit under them and fire an overcharge at them consistently. Tip for players so that you can beat levels like this easier: don't worry about missing some of your overcharge shots. You fire more bullets and do more damage the more charged up you are, so don't worry about 'wasting' some bullets to get yourself fully charged.

Ok, so obviously feedback on a 9 year old game is useless, but for anyone else trying to do something like this: of all the staple features of bullet hells, small hitboxes is NOT one you can do away with.

phenomenal game. The great music and synchronization creates a flow state that further helps facilitate focus and progression. i can't praise this game highly enough.

Music is garbled, game play is poor... I die in 1 hit and the enemy can take a pounding from my gun that shoots intermittently

I'll be honest, that music is amazing. Good job on that bullet Hell, I love it :D Only comment is the ship's movement but I really think the music is great.

I found this game to be quite fun. Level 16 was by far the hardest level. Was one of 3 levels where I gave up and used a second ship (Didn't perfect it until my second win). The music was quite enjoyable too.

gotta say level 16 ("tracking" lasers) was the hardest by far, and not even its emulation by the final boss stood up to its difficulty... dunno how that even worked, as the final boss usually enhances the difficulty of any copied pattern

I have only one problem with this game, for the time being, player 1 can't play on the mouse, so some of us would like to have the ability to play on the mouse instead of having to focus on two ships at the same time to get a perfect run.

Nevermind, I have perfected almost every levels but Cancer 19. The trick is (spoiler) turn the jukebox on (you'll have to complete every levels if you do this), pick a song that you feel that the levels left non-perfected easier if you pick a song of your choice (ex: Circinus 16 is hard with "Dark Angel" as the song, so I pick "Pope Friction" as the song). This way you can perfect levels easier (and that the perfect count on the Hard badge actually goes up). Note: Jukebox doesn't work against the last boss in Cancer 19 so the trick won't work.

Have got perfects on every level but Pyxis 12, Libra 14, Serpens 15, Circinus 16, Corvus 18 and Cancer 19 (I perfected the credits). Halp :/

As a counterpoint to daexions criticism (entirely valid btw, everyone is entitled to what they think of the game) I like the way you can't just blaze through each level at lightning pace with unlimited ammo. It adds the extra challenge that most standard "space ship boss fight" games don't have. I'd rather have to charge up some ammo then have a seemingly endless supply of bullets to just hold down a key on and let fire until I've won.

tf is wrong with stage 16 lasers cast is super fast ship is too slow to avoid them and slow mode not enough for pass them since it shoots 2 lasers same spot then again

eww, 8-bit carnival music combined with only being able to shoot if you're nearly hit. Cute concept, but in execution it just makes the level take way longer than it ever should.

Awesome game! I would love it if it was possible to use the mouse for movement, because bullet hell with arrow buttons is hard, but on the other hand, it's a new challenge!
