Under rating threshold (show) Did you make it so that it is possible to win every single game, provided it is played optimally? Or can some games be won by the computer, even if played optimally by the player?

(a bit late but) Yeah the Computer plays optimally on the hardest level.

Under rating threshold (show) Yeah man good game! I have never played this in real life but I like it. All you need is to make some kind of graphical representation of the matchsticks and keep track of the player's wins, losses, and forefitures. Also I had the problem where the wheel fades out before I can click anything. I got around this by holding the mouse over the number and scrolling my mouse wheel up one tick. It made it irritating to play but if you fix that it would be great.

Under rating threshold (show) Convert the sizes of the stacks to binary numbers and xor them. If the result is 0, you're screwed. If the result is non-0, make such a move to make it 0. But here it seems the game always gives you a winnable position (at least I never got a losing position in the beginning).

Under rating threshold (show) I like the fact that every game so far has been winnable by me (mathmatically speaking, took me a while to relearn how to apply the mental maths so a few dead ends)

Under rating threshold (show) Thx, for the comments. I have made some subtle improvements. Zilch was not multiplayer for a long time. I am thinking of multiplayer for my next project, but is not really needed for this simple game. Go down t'pub and buy a box of matchsticks :)

Under rating threshold (show) I second what BoredUltimatum said. I think the idea sounds like a bit of fun...just need to make it multiplayer like Zilch.

Under rating threshold (show) Very buggy for me. The circle appears over the numbers on mouse over, but fade out before the mouse can move from the number to it's wheel. In other words, I can't click any numbers on the wheel because it detects the mouse out from the pile number and immediately fades the wheel without giving any time for mouse over on the wheel. It either needs to detect the mouse moving towards the wheel or a delay between mouse event out and fading the wheel.

Under rating threshold (show) I call this game, Raindrops where I come from, cause as a student I play it on paper, and we draw | instead of matches. Looks like a raindrop dosen't it.

Under rating threshold (show) And if you click You Lose before the game fades out, you get a blank screen.

Under rating threshold (show) Please make it more clear that you select the amount of matches to keep, not take.

Under rating threshold (show) Clean and working, looking ok actually. Extremely simple but you knew that and a very good first effort. The only problem is: You select how many matches to _keep_ in the heap, not take.

Under rating threshold (show) This is my first flash project. So a little (read a lot) rough round the edges. I'm no graphical designer, nor could I find anyone willing to help. Anyway I plan on something bigger and better for the next project. This was just to get me christened with ActionScript.
