This game is pretty awesome. I'm impressed by the ratio of zombies making the game force you to make mistakes that make the game more fun forcing you to upgrade your gun and use your mechas. The worst thing about the game is that it's kind of an eyesore. Putting it even more bluntly, I've never seen an uglier minesweeper game. Music is also annoying. I would say it feels to me like the map is too big, making the numbers too small. If it doesn't make sense based on zombie ratios to make the map smaller maybe the numbers could be made bigger, and there could be a function where you scroll left and right and up and down, or zooming in on a part. This game frustrates me because I really want to play it, but I hate to look at it. 5/5 for me all the same. But do improve it!

nice twist of the minesweeper! why relax when you can get bullets to take out zombie hordes? Looking forward to see the highscores :)

I saw some error with the "numberization" system (I don't know how to call this).
Some building indicate a false number of zombies, and most of the times, the number is too low, so it makes the games a little more difficult.

This was a surprisingly fun take on an old classic. I would recommend, though, much like the original, an option for different size boards, for those who want different game length options.

Maybe you are right Azrey. Now im working on a sequel, with many improvements. I will think about that. Thank you very much!

I find the "map" hard to read, with the same colour for all the numbers and then the different sign for when either you marked or clicked the zombie. It's a lot for too small squares, so that it pushes us to do mistakes.
But as a minesweeper addict, that is a good idea, that just need improvement

Thanks for adding gun upgrades!
Having more zombies does make the game more difficult, but perhaps more maddening as well... Higher difficulty levels could have zombie waves that appear with shorter intervals, perhaps... or perhaps that could be another setting.
Maybe if you hit two or three zombies in a row, a super zombie comes and requires you to open up, say, 5 non-zombie squares in a row to kill it or something.
Man, this game has possibilities, very cool...
Come on, Kongregate, throw some ideas around!

I had 300 bullets and almost beat it but then died simply because I clicked on two zombies during a normally induced wave. The shotgun worked too slow and I was helpless to stop 15 zombies in time. Bit of a hole in the design... If i have 300 bullets shouldn't I get a better gun or a second shooter?

If you do it well on the field (city) you dont need to worry about zombies, its when you fail when zombies make pressure. The amount of dangerous spots is a lot bigger than in minesweeper, so its impossible to finish without stepping on some, or having a great luck.

There are too many zombies in the field to really enjoy the minesweeper part - in a proper minesweeper game, i can be sure of what to do for about 95% of the tiles. Here it's more like 50% which makes it a guesing game, i might as well click things randomly.

Mark zombies is a bit annoying since i cant use right mouse button. If you have a better idea im all ears. And yes, zombies keep coming even if you didnt click any, just to add some pressure. Not a real danger 1-5 zombies, but be careful if they join a group you released.

I have to keep pressing space to enable 'mark zombie' which is very annoying. I also keep having to shoot zombies eventhough I never walked into one, only marked them... is that meant to be? if so, the timer is pretty rediculous for a strategy game.

Hi, I am guessing you got this from emanuele feronato's book? I was reading it before ;)
Great job, even if you did! 4/5

Its a first version, i planned to add some powerups and even some new guns later.
Thank you steven, i will check that issue. Thanks all for your comments!

Interesting concept. I don't much like mine sweeper, but with some powerups and other perks it might make an interesting game someday.
