Is such an amazing game, absolutely love it! Only complaint, I feel the boss is overpowered, you cannot defend him AND he has a very long reach AND has a quick rate of hitting. I feel at least take something away, he is too over powered I feel. That, or I just suck.
He is very difficult true but we wanted him to be pretty epic. You can always go back to easier levels to level up a bit before taking him on. And don't forget to use magic. The heal spell can be very useful against the boss.

its kinda funny that the most effective spell against the final boss is the first one you get, not for damage but to get inside of his range safely and then just spam quick attacks

Okay, so I absolutely loved this game. The mechanics of battle were simple, yet incredibly fun. I found the combo system to work perfectly. The music is also perfect. Oh, and need I mention the obvious? BEAVERS WITH SWORDS!

The final boos is a toughy!
I FINALLY beat him by cranking up my Agility and to a lesser degree my Luck until i could run inside his reach and land a couple of light hits, then critical or knockback combo him and run away again. (ninja gear was helpful, as well as the Charge spell. Also Crystal Scull is the best charm EVAR.) Hope that helps if you're having a hard time on him. It still took me a couple tries even then, but it does work.

So first they kill fish and animals that need water, ruin some animals homes, and leave the forest with sharp stumps that can hurt living things, and they decide to screw up the world even more by starting a war!!?!??!
