Wow...apparently their bombers are so awesome that when it's 5 spitfires on 1 german bomber, one of my planes die along with the pilot...Exactly how am I supposed to be having fun with the game with the numbers so heavily rigged against me. Such as I lost 6 spitfires in one turn, to them loosing 2 fighters and 5 bombers. 2/5 till game is fixed.

If you would tweak this a bit it would be a fun game. For instance, having morale hit an all time low on the day the Germans surrendered suggests something is off. Winning without any city dropping to 50% or even close suggests its too easy. Firemen are never needed. Etc. Still, fun game.

The random events feel planned... One turn morale is low, so no new recruits so I have to convert some of my extra workers into pilots so that I have fighters for the net turn. But on the next turn My workers come down with some strange illness that makes it so I have no new planes! This happened twice. You know what's awesome? Attempting to fend off the Germans with only 3 spitfires.
Had a turn where I trained German spies as double agents (+10 spies). The very next turn the Germans broke up one of my spy rings (-10 spies) in addition to the 10% spies they usually catch for a net of -13 spies that turn. Coincidence? I think not!

War is a terrible thing. I belive this game captures the whole thing. I found myself saluting those pilots that were shot down. I would like to make a special tribute to those brave men and women who gave their lives for this country. Please rate this comment up so others may see this.

I have 28 spies but only 68% accuracy. The "crack german codes +10 accuracy" gives -10 instead. Rate this + so it can be fixed. Also, when I reloaded the page, hoping it'd go away, it went down to 58.

A good foundation, but now it needs building on.
Hurricanes may not be as fast as a Spit, but they were available in more numbers and were (at the time) a better gun platform. They accounted for over 60% of all air kills in the BoB. I would suggest strengthening the Hurricane.
Spies need to be stronger and more survivable. British Intelligence was far stronger than German Intelligence in the war (all German agents were double agents controlled by the British).
I would add AA batteries. Uses manpower, extremely low chance of a kill, but cannot be shot down (obviously).
Check the combat script. My example of "yeah, right" was 2 Stukas nobbling a pair of Spits. It could happen, but even a Defiant was more than a match for a Stuka.

First Try Win! Great Game, I wish more strategy games such as this were created. I absolutely loved it, the whole strat. system could be applied to new games. Developers, *hint* *hint* anyways, great game loved it, FUN!

You need to shoot down 300 enemy planes to win. However, you can cheat by going back to the main menu and reloading your game whenever you lose: instead of starting before the day when you lost, you start from the day after you lost (with a whole load of new recruits & plane production). I was able to win the game despite losing five areas. There's also another possible bug. I played this game for a while last night and lost one area/city, but I reloaded it this morning. I lost the game when the enemy attacked the lost area again and I was unable to defend it. Losing the same area twice shouldn't be counted as losing two separate areas. Obviously, combat is far too random. I know that losses need to be almost 1 for 1 in order for the game to work, but there's got to be a way of achieving that which doesn't look ridiculous.

@DealdyWeapon12 you also relise that 1 taking down 12 is impossible unless everysingle one of those other fighter pilots is an idiot right? and yes, it is prettty much about the plane a messerschmit was the best plane out there, britan only survived as long as it did cause Hitler made an idiodic decision

The thing i like the most is the sense of satisfaction. For example, when your fighters are outnumbered by a lot but they manage to kill all the bombers, so the city doesn't take damage. 4 out of 5, mainly due to audio bugs( machine gun sounds not playing, the siren not playing sometimes etc)

I would love to know how the combat system works, cause i had 4 spitfires defend against 5 messershmidts and 6 junkers, and 2 spits were left. But my force of 9 spitfires was shot down by 3 messers and 6 junkers, and they had 1 messer and 2 junkers left. All in all, its a great game, but the combat should be a little less random

this is THE dumbest game ive ever played in my life...... it may accually be worth it if u accually play through the day instead of just watching a screen

Every two days my workers get sick and no planes are built! I mean, ALL of them got sick? seriously? I have between 32 and 56 workers making planes all the time, are you serously telling me every two dayss EVERYONE gets sick and the next day it's all fine? i mean, you could reduce production by 50% or something, i can't play like this. 4/5, because of this and because it kinda gets boring since after 33 days i had only killed a little more than half of the planes required to win.

I think it is a really goos idea but it needs to be polished a lot. The skip button doesn't work and a lot of the time my planes seem to be shot down by no body. I think you should be put in charge of 1 squadron at first and then as you perform better and better you get promoted to regional leader and final country leader.

Won on day 37. I like the 'ace pilot' suggestion - ground an ace as a super recruiter (85% or better success rate?) or let them fly with a low chance of getting shot down. I like the idea of permitting more recruiters, perhaps on day 15. A major obstacle to a game based on the Battle of Britain is the PSYCHOLOGY of the game set-up, mainly finding ways to increase the player's awareness that they are making progress, that things are improving. Anti-aircraft artillery ... where is that in the defensive structure?

damn i won its harder at the star my advice is stick to spitfires and builders will save your life, and remember you can move your guys around a firemen can be builder and vice versa, but not the pilots
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the builders are to effective. All I had to do was put a couple builders down and in a turn any mistakes i made were repaired.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the rule is simple: don't fight
1 enemy fighter with 2 bombers will shoot 6-7 of your 8 best planes...
so just focuse on recon and repair
not too much of a flight game is it?

i love how i send in 23 spotfires and 14 hurricanes at 5 planes. and when the 5 are dead, the rest of my planes flying by are shot down. lol
