Description
Metropolis Isle has been invaded by radioactive mutant bugs after an explosion in an ice cream factory! As one of the few survivors you must fight your way through hordes of bugs to face a final showdown with Bugzilla and escape the island. Luckily you're not alone and you can locate other survivors to help you in your fight for survival. Big Al, an enterprising individual, has even set up a shop where you can find all the supplies you'll need to make it through the city. Increase your firepower, stock up on grenades and even buy useful tools that might just keep you alive that little bit longer.
How to Play
Keep an eye out for in-game tutorial messages.
In Brief: Bash the bad bugs, upgrade your gear, find survivors, complete missions and work towards the main goal of the game: To defeat Bugzilla and escape the island!
Developer Updates
Glad people seem to be enjoying the game. Just wanted to make a few points:
- Those reporting that the âfind all charactersâ badge is unobtainable due to a character being only available on another site, this is incorrect. The final character is a secret character obtained by completing a particular micro mission.
- We have been listening to your feedback and attempting to fix bugs as you report them so thanks for those reports.
- For those encountering a âwhirling background in battles/battles not workingâ bug: We have had some reports that some bugs could be a result of using an adblocker. We recommend disabling adblockers when playing the game just in case (donât worry there arenât any ads in it!).
- Make sure you donât miss the âEquipmentâ tab in the shop! You can buy medikits there as well as other items.
- For those frustrated that their weapons donât seem to hit often enough, Iâm afraid thatâs just how percentages work! They will even out over time.
- For those interested, yes, the art is by robotJAM who is also the TurboNuke artist.
- One final thing! The final boss is HARD! It just wouldnât be epic enough if you could beat him on your first attempt. You will need a combination of good equipment, good tactics, and a bit of luck. I mean, he is called Bugzilla remember!

Game is way too dependent on RNG. Endgame battles are pretty much RNG - so is the final boss fight. If you face tougher mobs, you WILL lose at least 50% of the time if you miss any of your shots (especially against those big blue guys, who can hit you for 40+ out of your maximum 100HP - medkits heal 50 and you can only carry 2). There needs to be more variety in armor as well as HP/evasion increasing items, or simply, allowing your search party to engage in the battles, as opposed to providing passive stats.
As other people said, hit probabilities seem to be bugged, and are way lower than they actually are for some weapons.
Items should not end your turn on use - status removers like adrenaline/poison etc are pretty useless since once your opponents simply stun/poison you again immediately after you consume them. In fact using them just invites them to hit you again.

Everyone is complaining that you cant get the badge cause you need the theme park. This isnt true. Bring the dog and boffin to the car park, and you unlock the last character. Rate this comment up so everyone can get the badge
