If you have the City Chief and Reporter, and are a little short on cash, just equip both of them and go into any level, then immediately end the day. You will gain $350 for doing that. Repeat until rich.

Those complaining about not enough money. The burglar is your friend. Bring him along and re-do older levels just using your newest melee weapon or bring the reporter and city chief and just pick a spot and end day immediately for quick money.
I agree entirely on the games RNG being completely wrong with its % hit chance but you can still work around it bringing the right roster buddies for the mission. Start with the alien+time traveler to map the entire area right off the start and then bring the burglar+looter and hit all the red (yeah cause money is red not enemies go figure) spots at once to maximize the money gain. The alien shows up late though so have to do some fumbling until then.
The best weapon throughout is the grenade launcher BUT the last boss fight you want the alien ray. Bring the fireman (the boss uses drowsiness) and I went with the veteran but a few combat related roster guys would do well too.

This game has its moments of fun, although it is mainly very frustrating for all the reasons stated in past comments. I am, yet again, dismayed by the fact that female characters are almost entirely absent. Who would even bother fighting to save a world only made up of men?

how could people even like this horrid excuse for a game?! it's a completely unfair mechanic!! I might come back when you make it possible to buy medkits... 1 star

As Kvlticon said, it's way too dependent on a broken RNG. This is more like a roulette than an actual game. Not interesting.

bugzilla have a lot of hp but if you compare it to other bug it's not a huge issue for humanity with these damage (and miss count).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I encountered a glitch, where a bug came back to life, still had 0 hp and continued to attack me as if it had hp. i finished off its partners and won the fight, but still.. For reference the bug was a large yellow glob shaped one.. took place at city hall.

How to get money easily in 4 steps. 1. Get City Chief 2. Click map, Beach Front, then click "End Day" 3. Buy whatever you want 4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for more money.

Oh ya, wanted to add. There is no incentive to optimizing each day as well, or penalty to not optimizing. You can just complete a few squares, end day, heal then go back again, using as much days as you like. Also tons of nitpicking like can use 50% after the last day and when the day ended, bugs that die from previous battles keep appearing in your next battles leading to more and more bug images stacking up etc

I had started this game expecting it to be a 4 star. As I play I realise it didn't have much features at all. Having melee/range didnt make a difference, just bought melee all the way and the game was a breeze. Having all types of helpers didn't make a difference, just choose the one with the highest damage and you're done. I never used a shout, never used a scan, never needed a survivor for other bonus because it is simply faster to click every square, kill all the enemies. And when you brute force your way thru you expect much resistance - there was no challenge at all. When I was 1/4 thru I already had more money than I needed. I don't need any bombs, or cure poison, or stun or whatever because simply hitting them with 1 hit kills them. On top of this boring mechanics, there were tons of bugs, memory leak, and other details i didnt bother to think about now. In fact I just regretted wasting my time typing this.

The percentages are definitely wrong. To avoid confirmation bias I did a trial of 100 for a 70% chance of hit. The results were exactly 50%. Nothing is more frustrating then constant bad luck, and worse than that - the developers are MAKING the bad luck happen. Expect a lot of rage and lower ratings =/

Oh dear this is really bad. How the f**k can you miss a big bug when shooting? Is the character so stupid he cant even think to point the gun at the bug? This is total rubbish 1* GARBAGE!!

Return to areas you've cleared that are now "overrun with bugs" for some much-needed grinding in order to get safe, easy money for those upgrades

So even with the riotshield i still get stunned by the bee, not to mention i miss 3 times with a 95% chance, even xcom isnt this mean to me when it comes to %
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think I MAY have found a glitch when you click REALLY fast on an area you have already cleared you can make a billion battles happen at the same time and if you do this enough you can have an infinite bug which you kill infinite times

Me: "I'm dying, help me kill them. Here, take my gun and knife" Helper: "Nope, I'm just going to back away and watch you die >:3"

Bugzilla guide: use a grenade launcher and sledgehammer, a mochi helm, and a riot cop and a scientist/veteran. Spam grenades while occasionaly using your medkits.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
need alot more medkits. cant get past day three without sitting at 1% health. maybe buy them in shop or end of day restoration would be a great boon.

For those saying the probability is broken, run an experiment of 50 or 100 trials and record how many hits and misses you get. The probability isn't broken, it's just possible (and probable) to get an unlucky spree since you run so many trials over the course of the game. Whenever I felt I was being cheated I did this, and the probability always approached the stated amount.
TL;DR: The RNG actually isn't broken.

I never thought that there were zombies in this game. or is it just my imagination that a bug attacked me with 0 hp left
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Have the option to buy medkits from the shop, since you can't upgrade your health, and enemies should NOT be hitting you for 1/3rd of your HP or more.
