Two things:
- please make the Dens unspawnable in the very first room of the dungeon;
- morale from achievements needs to stack up. I unlocked 3 achievements at once and I still get just "+3" per attack.

If they villagers only award trinkets now (and I'm not really complaining), why is there still the "The villagers equip you with:" part? It's underwhelming.

This is a surprisingly good game for kongregate, especially given their... current lineup. A couple suggestions: the free version REALLY is lacking a lot. I get that it's a lesser version of the game, but at least open up the third map. The first 2 maps really create a wall that simply can't be breached. Not enough scrolls or items to actually proceed. Second: there really needs to be a better mass attack option. A whirlwind attack type that affects all monsters. Maybe at a negative to the attack.

absolutely amazing, a great game! Loved the aesthetics, the mechanics, the storytelling. Really a good golden age RPG experience. Great work!

Wait so... If I roll higher than them I get hit. If I roll lower than them, I get hit. If I roll the exact same as them, I get hit. meanwhile, if I try to hit and they roll higher, they completely dodge it. Same for rolling equal. sounds fine if not a little annoying, until you realize they all have +3 or +4 defense in the very first level. Thanks, very good game I do definitely understand why people like it 10/5 48290% best game of all time.
The hit/miss result is based on the rolls plus the modifiers. So if you fight monsters with better stats than you, rolling better than them will not always be enough. Much of the game is about knowing when it's best to avoid a fight.

Comment Continued: *Human: Not a new suggestion, but agreeing with @idjit7 that bull rushing/shoving foes into fires would be awesome. Might not kill them like a pit, but doing an extra damage on top of your attack would be cool. And if there was a circumstance where they were cornered and couldn't move out of the fire it could do another damage each turn the fire lasted.

Fun game. Been playing for 2 or so weeks. I have some small suggestions.
*Elf: You should be able to leap-over attack from stealth. All other attacks in the game can be started from stealth and break stealth as they attack - but this doesn't work for the leap over a foe attack. I suggest that leaping over a foe should trigger a popup like for the dwarf charge or human bull rush, where you can choose to just move in stealth or break stealth and attack. Since all other attacks break stealth, I have wasted many scroll of leap thinking it works this way and I just keep forgetting.
*Dwarf: The dwarf can attack with a bow at 3 steps away, but at 2 he only charges. I suggest at two steps away he should have a popup that offers a choice between bow and charge. All other races can attack with the bow from two steps, so I keep forgetting and charging foes I didn't mean to.

Not bad at all. Reminds me of old-school turn-based games. Voice acting is really good too. Kinda remind me of The Cave. Haven't been on Kongregate for years ,so that's a pleasant surprise.

Good game, although I wish there were more options for getting the full game. I do understand supporting the creators, though.

Clearing a room by shoving every monster into a pit should get you an achievement. It's also extremely entertaining. 10/10

Even levels bring in new skills/etc. What is the point of having the odd levels? As for skills, there are only 13 levels in this game.

Won a near-unwinnable position against 2 dragons by get 4 heroic actions in a row with eleven archer, 15/10 would play again

I really think that if you have a rage bonus of plus ten you should have a guaranteed cleave or feat action. Or maybe just a higher chance to parry.

So the only option to upgrade the game is to spend $20? it says it requires 150 kreds, but the options to buy kreds are only $10,$20 and so on, the first giving you 100, and the second 200. How convenient.... what a scam.

The % of this game are just a scam. "You have 95%" and you fail 50% of the times. Are you kidding me? SCAM GAME. 1 star is more than what deserved.

Pretty crappy game: no BACK button, not-so-random dice rolls, unbalanced mechanics, poor graphics. The concept itself could have been nice but not very well developped.

I was fighting three red dragons as the elf, at 1 HP with no potions. One left, survived FIVE CONSECUTIVE ATTACKS with the dodging ability and the lucky charms

once you get your elf to level 14 you are almost unstoppable pretty much just don't forget to go evasive also don't hoard any scrolls you will lose them once you finish the run win or lose just took out 17 blue dragons today

The upgrade makes it nearly impossible to advance without buying the upgrade. It no longer makes sense to play, I have failed on 7 red dragons 7 or 8 times in a row and can't even make it past the first layer. You can't get good weapons without the advanced levels and starting with level 0 weapons means you almost always have to use a health potion. I'm outta here

New Game updates gave us: Less Potions, Less Opportunity to sneak past enemies, More enemies, Less chance at getting the high value magic weapons you need. and the Dragons can still move out of turn. Wonderful update guys!

The game has gotten progressively harder over time. The most recent update makes it hard for an advanced player to progress.

I like cavern crawlers. They are just on their way, nobody really knows where they hurry so much, and they don't like crawling slowly in a traffic jam. If you get out of their way, they mean you no harm. Also, what do you think is my favorite color of slime, green or yellow? It is actually black.

Why is there a magic bow for the human but not a magic shield? Lame, only Sword and Shield matter for the human. It was hard enough when you had a +7 guarantee for all 3 weapons. Put back the 3 magic weapons and get rid of your Altar if you wish to make things harder. You’ve cut potions again, you’ve arranged your monsters so sneaking doesn’t work as well as before…forcing you to use up the few potions you have to survive. This is a turned based game right?…Your monsters move out-of-turn with each other!! Did you think we wouldn’t notice? Your dice rolling can easily get consecutive “1” rolls, but you will NEVER get consecutive “12” rolls. You have a misleading spinning wheel function when you open a chest….the results of which are predetermined having nothing to do with the pressed button that stops the spinner. Maybe with your next game don’t drive away the non-paying players with such great disadvantages.

Hey I know if we only give them a +6 shield and less potions than before they will get frustrated and want to get the paid version of the game.....hahaha....more like they will just leave the game. Too many inconsistencies and drastic changes to the game. This is supposed to be a turn-based game right? Then why are the Dragons allowed to move out of turn? (in relation to each other)
