Only beating the queen with beetles? That's a lie and you know it. I just beat the queen with roaches just now. I dominated everything in the trail behind it and ganged up on it on the last one when it tried to take over a colony with over 70 roaches. Roach 3 works well.

This sucks. You can ONLY beat the queen with beetles. i tried with ants and roaches, but that didn't so anything at all. i beat her easily as the beetles.

How do you take out the Queen? It's health on the bottom's not budging when I'm ants (with 1 +20% strength bonus; the rest +20% speed).
Are you supposed to overlap it or send so many hundred ants at it that it dies?

Now I'm stuck on the hourglass level. With the ants and the beetles... The ants are way too fast and have too great an advantage at the beginning... I can't dig in and build my turrets up =/

great game i think a new game+ option would rock, i'd be cool to eat larvas with my roaches muahahaha but thats just me

3.5/5 - A nice little survival game, I particularly liked the theme (but wanted some encyclopaedia info about ants) the music was great and the only downside was selecting and directing spawns was sometimes a little tricky, costing precious rtseconds to reselect - anyone else have this problem?

I love level 8, what you do is get the spawn above you and then send all your ants(beetles) to the bottom left spawn point, let the main enemy deal with the other one to a point then cap the spawn, after that just keep sending your bugs to the centre spawn point, once you have that the level is in your hands

very nice game! ah, i found another nice game! it`s kind of a real life simulation. you can work and fight in wars there, get involved in politics or build up your own company for example! just use my this if you want to join: http://www.erepublik.com/en/referrer/tmv23 to get you a good start: the first things you need to do there are: get a job in a company and work there, upload an avatar and after you did that train to raise your strength. Then buy some food and login again at the next day. At the begin you have not much possibilities to be honest BUT: Every level you gain you have more possibilities! by the way, the power of the countries depends on their citizens, so join and support your country! For example at the moment there is a global war between Hungary/Russia/Serbia/France/UK/Turkey on the one side against USA/Croatia/Canada/Poland/Sweden/Greece on the other.

alexious, the point of towers is to help keep ur spawns for being takin over. the kill enemies, meaning less that get to u, meaning lesschance u lose that spawn

The controls could be better. Whenever I would build towers and then try to click another spawn to reinforce the spawn at which I built towers, it would send them the wrong way, often causing me to lose the spawn at which I had just built a tower. Interesting game though.

Not sure what the point of the towers are... I'd say drop the tower aspect and focus more on insect customization and more levels for a sequel.

Second, there's little replay value. Badges are what really give games on kongregate a play value... its crazy, but badges have some sort of allure to them. You wanna play the game just to see if you can get this or that badge, even if the game sucks. Whats worse, this game does have in-game achievements, but you cant read what they are. By the time you get them, the "submit score" tab is in the way and you cant read the description.

The game is kind of easy... but you dont level up often enough. Level ups seem to be timed throughout the game... rather than letting you grind a little to get some extra XP and get some awesome bugs... you're stuck with just 3 or 4 level ups. That would make the game IMMENSELY better. Then I could tweak out my bugs until I had some wasp or something.
