@KAGE not really, your troops are always 2-3X better than the opponent. Just think of the excess enemy troop as.. more money.

i as attacking and i was killing the castle but i could not because after 3 seconds i saw an army of enemys over 80+ and the castle almost destroyed but tobad the enemys killed my army of 14 :(

Good game but only a 4/5 cause the enemy spawns way to fast! i mean i have to wait like 15 seconds to get one of my guys and yet the other guys are making them in like 2!

Found a glitch for lots of gold and exp: once you are about to win a battle, switch to a new tab, this will still kill the enemy castle, but the enemy will still spawn units. Once you switch back to the tab with this game, the enemy units will all die and you will win the round.

amazing game! the only improvement i can think of is a "Hold Position" button. U got retreat and forward but if u command ur team to stand on 1, once they are attacked or enter combat they will begging to move forward without stopping. A hold button would be a nice addition to the game. Also a bug if found:
When your team is advancing and u advance to quickly imps can get by your "horde of ppl" and end up attacking ur base. Not much a problem just send ur team back but if all u got is centaurs and zombies (at the start of game) 1 imp can deal 20% dmg to ur castle b4 u can even kill it.
+ comment if u agree on a "hold position" button =D

maximumcool has a point, all you do is wait for your troops to automaticaly generate and then mash the 'Forward' button.

I like how the enemy can save up a volley of units inside his base and just unleash 50+ of them at once...but I cant. REALLY makes it a fair fight huh? 1/5

Heck yeah! This is the first time I manage to take an hard badge of the day (I swore so much in Hack, Slash, Crawl and Castle Crushing: The Beard). Anyway, I found it easy as an easy badge, and long as a medium one O.o

such an easy game. Just taunt the knight at the start with a comet, destroy him and proceed to annihilate their base.

I don't see what the point of this game is. Forward or retreat, that's your only options? I don't see where there's much strategy to thi.

I thought of a better name for this game... Epic BS. the one spell that gives you a chance of surviving the "revenge wave" wears out before it's suppose to wear out and gives it to the enemy when you're about to rip them a new one

Same problem than earlier games; If I tell my hero to retreat, I don't want to watch him doing long animation of swinging sword and dying.

Always make sure you equip comet shot... First thing you have to do in a battle is not attack... Is defense, then shoot a comet shot on the enemy hero... That idiot will run a long way to suicide... You can use this way to lure those defense forces as well... Make sure don't lure all in a same time.

I enjoyed the other epic wars because they were somewhat of a challenge and were fun to play. This one feels like a 2 year old could beat it as long as they knew how to click the forward button. Rather lame game.

1) Wall o text needs to pause
2) New units should follow command for the rest of their type
3) Revenge waves are too big. Skills mean nothing in the face of twice your army showing up.
4) Could we get a Hold the Line option? I'd like my hero to hold back the enemy units spawing at twice my rate until I have some troops, but not keep going after the next guy until he aggros the other hero.
5) Difficulty ratings for battles would be nice.
6) Enemies get revenge waves, more unit types, and spawn faster than the player. Could we please have a way to grind for gold/xp? Otherwise once you hit that battle you can't beat it gets really frustrating really fast.

funny thing about a hero is sometimes when you call him, he just hides behind the army while they get sliced to pieces :P

Good game, the only complaint I have is that when you play your first battle and get that big wall-of-text explaining how to play, the battle isn't paused, meaning I can't command my troops because I'm reading.

I'd have to say the "revenge wave" IS pretty unfair, since you can't use the heal that much in the first place, and they get to send out their max of everything all in one shot, while you're still getting pieces of your army back, and they're all being lazy asses and standing around playing with themself until you tell them to move forward. You can keep the heal, I'll take the constantly charging forward at my command army that I get maxed out units on if the enemy gets too close.

i've been working my ass off trying to get the hard badge today for two hours, and i save after i completed the last one. I didn't get a badge... Hard not to be angry at this

The game is far too easy. There is only one complaint I have that I see has been echoed across the board. Sometime when you are calling you hero back he doesn't come back for quite a while which results in a dead hero and an unhappy player. If that could be fixed up this would be much better. Though you might have to up the difficulty to make up for those kind of glitches being repaired.

OMG! In cave 5 there's a invincible stealth goblin that kill ANY monster with one hit! There's really some way to win this battle?

this is the first game of the epic war series, and i found it extremely boring. I tried to make it through the first battle, but if every battle takes so much time, I don't bother to play it.
