The game overall is fun and not too overly difficult. But in the last few sieges of a campaign, the enemy gets way too many of those war horn reinforcement things, especially since we don't get anything like that.. Even if 2 or 3 full blown armies from that war horn (going over the unit limits that we normally have) gather together and rush your base. It's impossible to defend against and is in no way fair :/

Wtf is with enemy sudden charges. I get to their castle, almost destroy it, and a massive army charges me. Can't say I like that.

Rembrant the Bloody hell is too serious about building "ancient" family dynasty which leads him to completely ignore the advance in mana technology. He uses so little mana to support the army (2600) even less than before the events of the Holy Wars (Epic war 2)

epic war two was better. you had control over how many units you wanted to send out, and in this one its zoomed in so the battle looks smaller and less epic contrary to the title. i played the first and second games before the rest had even been made and i hope 4 and 5 are better.

Man, you'd think these great heroes would know enough about battle tactics not to overcommit to their attacks. Come on, dude. When I say fall back I mean like NOW, not after your 10-minute sword slash animation.

Very good game, if there is ever a fourth one, you need to fix the fact that troops advance when enemy troops are nearby, we need to be able to post our soldiers somewhere and be confident that they wont move past your commands + if you agree

An enemy you say?! Why let me just point my sword up at the sky, now towards my foe, now aim it behind myself, now back at the sky, now back at my foe, then start the swing... hmm, he's gone you say?

I have a nice idea, but I highly doubt it will even be considered. After each upgrade of Units and Heroes, their appearance should change slightly, Goblins got a little more beefy, then maybe a little slower. For Mad Bulls maybe their weapon could change slightly, from a wooden hammer to an iron hammer, and so on. Who thinks this would be a nice little addition to this already great game?

Spells:Athena, Phoenix, Hercules, Comet and Healing spell. Troops: Centaurs, Succubus, Mermaids, Witches, goblins and the black knight keep this commnet alive by copy pasting it but since I had Grullborg Grimtooth I had enough mana to replace goblins and black knights by frost giant and dragon rider + i had the lightning bolt card extra it worked out just fine

I usually put my hero out to tank any soldiers, then bring him back and let the rest of my army take care of the other hero

Tag team badge: first finish a campaign do NOT start another normal one because you will wipe your progress, instead start a new game plus with a different character and win that campaign too.

i will always love this game i started playing this bout 10 or 11 years ago in jr.high and highschool....i like how they did things but one thing i didnt like was the fact that there is no speed up button....that would have made this game better

ok i love the epic war series, but what is the point of an unlockable card after trial 5? after clearing all characters it seems an unlock is kind of useless, would be cool if after trial 5 you get like extra content, an extra creature slot with a mana boost to use titans easier, or reset everything and you can level your cards up to ten now with new bosses or something. i just felt i beat the game and got something i can only use if i play the game again.

i think you can just farm the final battle
cause when you finish you can click continue and farm money off of the last battle to upgrade all those cards

Here's how I beat cave 5 if it helps its not a whole lot different of a setup than what most people are recommending but it is a pretty lazy way to do it.
First I played through with viegaff the red cause I recognized him from the other epic wars so I got all his unlocks then I played through with the dwarf. Anyways after doing that my final setup was goblins,dwarf engineer, succubus, taurus warrior, centaur archer, mermaid and for spells I used pretty much what I had... comet shoot, rain of arrows, freeze trap, phoenix strike, hercules strength and healing wave.
What I did was pretty much just sit there and build up till I had all my spell casters maxed using comet and arrows to kill goblins. Anyways after that I cometed the hero to bring him out after I finished him off I just bum rushed it and used the freeze trap on the super goblin right as I was nearing castle then popped hercules strength and as soon as the first horn went off I used phoenix strike then just spammed spells.

Beat All Caves with this setup**Black Knight, Dragon Rider, Mermaid, Witch , Centaur Archer, Succubus - Heal, Athena Protection, Hercule's Strength, Comet, Phoenix.** HEAL CONSTANTLY, use Protect & Strength only on Titans or against the Shadow Goblin. Comit to bait the enemy champion or to hit ranged units, Phoenix shreds through units if they break through for any reason. On Cave 5, be patient and build up your forces to max before launching an attack, Protect & Strength once you reach the Shadow.
