Dear Sky Dragon: It seems an age since I sent you into the field to assault the castle of the Goblin Horde. lesser troops have understood the task before them. They have pushed past you on the battlefield, only to be brutally slain by the blackguard goblins from which you were sent to protect them. Had I wanted you to protect our castle from the Horde, I'd have told you to retreat from the field. I believe the order I gave was Assault. Please understand, I care for you a great deal, but I didn't invest money in you to watch you pirouette in the middle of the battlefield and waste my precious time. Come the next battle, I'd like you to stay in the upgrade grid. It's not you, it's me. I don't like you.
Much regret, Epic Overlord.
PS: If you see the pixies, tell them I said to stop passing living enemy units, and cop to the fact that they're useless in a fight.

fully upgraded shield spell is your absolute best option to deal with the black goblins. lasts 20 seconds and lets your units withstand the black goblin insta kill bullshit.

great concept, but as many have said just a few small things that make a huge difference in the game, when i set where i want my troops to go, i want them to go at that moment, and i dont want them to move on their own past that point, the other thing i think ought to be there although certainly not a requirement for the game, is some sort of bestiary with the stats of all units, notice how we do get access to that green line of upgrades for quite a while so we dont very well know what we are fighting, also being able to know at least see what the colored ones stats are would be an immense help and take out a lot of frustrating trial and error just to figure out what can at least hurt one, otherwise it is a great game, if not just repetitive trying to keep your units in one place (a, click, a, click, a, click) ;P

Tips for final stage....
Try to keep the units under the massive boss. That way, u dont have to waste much mana on the invicible magic because it cant attack things directly below it.
Use units that can give as much damage as possible. Don't think about the health of the unit, just consider the total damage it can do. So, units with high damage and with high number of them would be good
If you have some spare mana after using some invincible, use up the double damage skill as much as you can. Because, if the boss loses some lifepoint, it doesn't come to ur base and goes back to its own. So, more damage=better chance of survival.

I cant complete goblin madness! There is an annoying goblin who can resist everything and it's damage 10000 every time! So annoying how can i complete that lvl!?

I personally think there should be an auto-save feature. There is nothing more annoying then beating 6 stages then accidently exiting the page.

Under rating threshold (hideshow) Nice game, but it would be nice to have a wave assult function. Characters summoned into a holding area off screen where they are imune from attack and are unable to attack enemies untill the wave is called out by the player. Also an offensive, standard and defensive setting for each character type would be helpful. Offensive setting would send characters forward, ignoring any enemies behind them. Standard setting would see characters behave as they currently do. Defensive setting would see characters hold their ground, attacking approching enemies and ignoring any enemies behind them.

I didn't like how nonlinear the upgrade system was. For example, how do you find out which unit's the strongest? Even though you unlocked the great Diablo later in the game, he and sky dragon seem to be evenly matched, I would say sky dragons even a little more powerful since he can fly.

THIS GAME ROCKSSSSSS!!!!!!! i think though the angel titan should be able to attack the enemy's base cuz all i see the titan doing is slashing nothing and i just hate it when the angel see 1 little tiny goblin and it has to attack it -.- maybe in the next game they should make it like epic war 2, orc, elf and human heroes and some old characters like the arch angel or forest guardian something like that.

The movement commands as well as the "turn around and attack" motion seem to have caused more problems than it solved. Having your heroes fight does too because if they die, their troops don't respawn as well. Things would be far less complicated if they were made simpler; 3 buttons aka one for "assault", "stand ground" and "retreat". Then two buttons you could highlight for "all units" & "selected units only" that would either stay on or stay off all the time via player's preferences. The heroes could be the exception to my new button commands, they would only attack defensivly a certain distance and retreat "right away" once their HP got low. Please rate high + if you would like (some or all of) these "new movement" suggestions to be noticed by Rudy Sudarto in the next Epic War installment.

Riot waves as i call them,(or revenge waves for most people), are when i use all my mana to kill them all before i get pushed back + if you do the same

I actually really enjoyed the fact that you can grind for gold in one area so that if you fail at one, you can go back and train things up to succeed

Fixed size small game = thumbs down. It's 2010, people run there computers at very high resoultions. And playing a game in a little window thats 1/5th the screen isn't much fun.
Most good flash games are fully scalable with built in broswer scaling (ctrl + mousewheel) .. This one isn't. Weak.
I realise i could lower my monitors resolution, but thats the point, if it was made right I wouldn't have to. Plus that screws up my desktop setup and other settings.

i love these games and i think you should make 5 and if you do i think you should be able to have all 5 heroes at once and i think that you should listen to the other comments+ if you agree
