its an addicting game. the only thing i dislike is your army moves to attack nearby enemies without me commanding them. if you can fix this it would be the perfect game

I couldnt figure out how to use the magic =P It says to use space to confirm spells and units, but that doesnt do anything. Other than that its a fun game though.

Still littered with design flaws.
First of all: This being the fourth installment of the series, shouldn't the developer(s) have come to the conclusion that rewarding players for finishing a level FAST would be appropriate? Instead the best way to gain gold is setting up a meat grinder and leaving the computer for a few hours.
Second: The new upgrade screen looks horribly cluttered and confusing.
Third: Still no "hold ground" command. I can imagine this is due to the fact that otherwise the enemy ranged units would stay behind their castle (or even out of view) and shoot the hell out of the players' units. But still, there would be other solutions to this problem. For example: No attacking from outside of the screen.
All in all this was another Epic War I didn't need. At least the devs added some new features that I think are nice to have. For example full auto-summoning of units.
Nevertheless, this barely made a 3/5 for me.

i like the shortcuts makes it easier to control everything like it should but just an idea for next time put commander hotkeys on qaz and their troops on we sd and xc respectively could help when you just want to send in troops and not leaders

On the goblin clustershag level, who does that little shadow goblin think he is? He resisted all of my attacks and beat the shart out of my great diablos in 2 hits. Little wanker...

there should be a counter at the end of a mission showing the number of deaths on either side of the battle, just to see how badly the war went XD.

You can beat all the epic levels without actually using an epic unit, here's how I did it:
Important spells are shield
Important units are phantom ghast and were tiger: why? because their attack animations boost them a fair distance forward,
So i use these units with a combination of other normal units depending on units of the enemy on each of the epic stages.
The phamtom and tigers will propel themselves past the major boss and focus on the enemy castle as long as you tell them to advance and the other units disrupt the boss.
Always have shield on, on epic levels where the boss does not advance by itself this is very easy, just wait for mana to build.
RECAST SHIELD when timer gets to 2 and you will reset to 20 with no time wasted.
Using this strategy i was able to beat all epic levels without using a titan unit, the last level requires a bit more timing but is definitely doable.

ehh.. not all too different than epic war 3... i mean. 1-2 was a big step. 2-3 was a HUGE step..
now its kinda like 2/3 were mixed and very few elements added.
and now the mana thing.. skills were the only thing saving us in epic war 3.. now its way to expensive to use the best ones. idk. this one is just kinda boring and worn out already. i loved 2 and 3.
a march ahead and stay command ( to position units) would be great
less mana cost or one that wont increase as u lvl up a spell
and hero recall needs to be faster

I think the game should auto save i cant tell you how many imes ive comepleted and upgrade stuff them come back and i forgot to save -,-.Just to make it easier.

if you upgrade a spell the mana cost shouldnt go up mybey down or stay the same thats the stupidest thing in the game and i cant believe noone has said something yet

All units need to b more accurate when i command them to go to a spot they must go exactly to the spot right then & when i command them fall down they must do so then & there.Beside all that this is a good game.

Shield spell is insanely OP. Best strat for EPIC mode XVI is max Shield and Alter then arrange the highest damage lowest HP things you have (ideally maxed as well) and just mash the assault button. Then when your mana is at 100 Shield and then shield again when Shield buff has 2 seconds left or when you have the mana, which ever comes last. XIV is the same strat but shield when the first bomb is about to blow and everyother level is just fallback until 400 mp then assault and shield. It doesn't even matter if you can't kill the black imps, you'll just rush past them and win anyway.

i do stop the big bang every time for money it gives me 70k(normal) 95k(hard) & 1.4m(epic) money in just 3 min.If u have a good timing u also can do it.

What i do to get money is do level 12 (final regular level) because the big Trojan horse is powerful, but beatable. The rider on a horse is like an epic war 3 hero and is good money.
