Aha. I see. You have to go into the ARRANGE menu and place the spell on the skill bar. It's the vertical column of circles. Ugh..

I thought dwarfs were tiny when I saw popo I thought "that's a dwarf?" seriuosly dwarfs are supposed to be smaller then a human popo is bigger then the yeti! and if someone that stong is in this game I'm suprised popo uses a cannon and dosen't just fight them with his hands

I don't mind the attack rate. Why don't you try holding a giant sword, infusing it with some orangish power, and swinging it xD.

I agree with zip, darkstar's strategy isnt the best (probably why he wants the speed up in the first place...) I have managed to finish all the challenges on each difficulty with pretty much the same strategy: Original hero + ghosts + weretiger (fast moving meele), 5th hero Lara with goblins (meat shields for kamikaze units or anything else) and bulls, 4th hero, archer (dwarf moves too damn slow and havent tried wizard... but this could be any hero), with succubus and pixies. Spells: berzerk, rage, shield and stop (main two skills), lightning and comet (mostly not used, can swap one for pheonix on the goblin madness challenge, helpful for sweeping the field and getting your troops up faster). THE BASIC STRATEGY: FOCUS ON THE CASTLE. Mass up your troops and fill up on MP; use stop OR shield to get past the 'boss' in each level (demon lord, black goblin) and go straight for the castle. Keep shield OR stop on as much as possible, re-cast when you regen about 50 mp from the last cast.

The surrender bug only happens if you press "P" then surrender. It DOES NOT happen if you press the white flag then surrender. + this so that the developer can see this comment and fix it.

This must be the most balanced of all the Epic War franchise even if it doesnt show it so much at the begining. Its a very fun game, and unlike alot of people i dont mind so much the waiting since its nto that long and killing castles get faster and faster as you improve. Thank you to all who posted help notes on here that works.
I was going to post a how to get money fast help note but i realised someone said you could quit the Baal fight over and over and get rich fast and it does work so i wont.

BTW this game is way different from the last one. Not only do you get to customize which heroes to use, but there is no more random card collecting. I was so frustrated in EW3 because it took me several times of beating the game with each hero to get all the cards, i.e. all the minions. There are a few problems, such as the long sought after fast forward button, but its not a big deal. In the update section it clearly states that EW4 is on Kongregate to have the kinks worked out. Everyone's comments will probably be noted. I think this game is much better than the last one. and there are many more minions.

The Stop-Skill ist extremly helpful in all challanges.
Use the Shield-Skill vs. BigBang-Bombs.

helltone, i couldn't have said it better myself. good game, needs alot of improvements. p.s. why is viegraff the red the last guy? why not grullborg grimtooth? or rembrandt the bloody? you can't even get any of the guys from ew3! listen to what im saying.

good game, but here is an idea. everyone remembers the player controlled tower from 1 and 2.I think you should put that back in. this is just my opinion, but rate up if you like this idea

okay, lol to get past shadow goblins and lord baal, its very easy. Just have goblins and/or phantom ghosts and use STOP and INVULNERABLE when they get near, and if you keep clicking assualt they'll eventually get past the enemy and attack the castle. It's pretty easy

I just want to let everyone know. There are hotkeys, just open your eyes and look at the instructions!
- a to select all, s to select all hero, d to select all units
- 1-6 hotkeys for spell
- qwertyuio hotkeys for units
- space bar to confirm units / spells placement
And u can mute it. At the home page when its done loading. Click on the option (gear) and u can turn off the sounds u don't like. Blood can also be toggled! Although it still needs a (2x, 3x) speed up button.. :(

just found a very sweet glitch(money glitch),ok so here's what ya have to do:
1.Be sure u unlocked the ''XV'' lvl
2.Beat it on normal difficulty
3.now enter hard difficulty
4.surrender(click the tiny white flag on the MANA bar)
5.voilla you just got 30k Gold
6.keep doing this and enjoy
