I'm screwed with Firefox on Linux because Adobe doesn't want to support it and I'm told to use Chrome. Now I'm screwed with Chrome because you don't support it and I'm told to use Firefox. Oh boy!

make the gem chests appearance be an option. "i have/plan to have gems i would like to have the ability to spend them" = gem chests appear.
"no plan to ever get gems" = no gem chests.

Game is pretty good, totally underrated too - not as cash cow as most other MMO on this site(yes, it may seem like they ask money every step, but you can get a LOT of free gems and the best items are actually made without spending money, so money is mostly to speed progress up).. well, what it lacks is amount of content IMO - I easily beat whole game in a few days, and the only thing left to do is do it on higher difficulty which isn't as interesting, and after you actually beat higher difficulties - you are simply out of content except for grinding better items.(which isn't too fun) Basically until more content is added it will have to do with 4/5, if more gets added I will happily change to 5/5

I would really like to just press and hold space to stand still. I want to be able to stand and click in any direction to shoot that way. With this "shift + click" orientation, it not only bugs me ergonomically when I am trying to use spells and shoot. But also it personally makes me walk side to side without being able to shoot unless I actually click the enemy as I would normally. I have a hard time clicking the enemies and especially dislike clicking over and over as opposed to just holding down click and just rapid firing (or whatever speed). Please and Thank You! :)
Sorry to hear that, soulcrusher. KingsRoad is heavily reliant on the GPU, so CPU usage isn't as much of a factor. What sort of GPU do you have, and what browser are you using?

In response to your response.
1) While you can attack in place while holding the shift key, it only works if you have a target selected. I was thinking more if you hold shift, you attack in the direction of the mouse regardless.
2) Good to hear. Hope it makes the web version.
3) I experience lag the most after about a hour of game play. Especially during combat (which makes sense). After about a hour or so of playing I notice my memory usage spikes.
Thanks for the extra info. Re: (3) We've made a lot of strides in flushing memory as you play, but you will see incremental increases over an extended play session. We'll continue to make inroads there, but in the meantime you should be able to overcome that issue by refreshing your page when you start to experience slowdown. =)
You still need to target an enemy to use this -- and if you don't have line of sight with the enemy, your character will move first. It's not ideal, and I'll pass along your feedback that you'd like to see it improved. =)

Things i think would be cool to add to the game.(1) Player market.(2) Enchanting equipment.(3)Ways to earn gems like a log in bonus.(4)player vs. player. Like an arena
Thanks for the feedback! Funny you mention enchanting equipment -- we'll have that added in the very near future! As for earning free gems, the best way to do that is by replaying early maps. Each time you play, you'll earn "map mastery" that will unlock more free gems. =)

Game constantly freezing and shutting down. Possibly fullscreen-related or party-related. Constantly happening. Unplayable. But fun! Please do something about it.

Very buggy on Firefox. Full screen kept auto-shutting down for no apparent reason. Likewise, my character would constantly get locked up so I had to refresh the game to try playing again. Lockups may have something to do with constantly being thrown out of fullscreen mode. Looks fun, but unplayable for now.
Thanks for the feedback. Typically, our players have had better experiences on Firefox versus Chrome. Can you share with us the specs of your computer? Did you try on Chrome or IE?

im only on level 5 and im finding it tedius and boring. The fights are all the same. A couple of ranged units a couple of tanky units and some fast ones. all die in a few shots. There is no fear of death. It appears to be designed to just slowly sap your health and mana away which recovers retardedly slow. how about making the game challenging and not a slow tedius death by a thousand cuts game.
We do support Chrome. If you're getting a message that tells you the game is not supported, it's likely because your graphics card isn't supported by the Chrome version of Flash -- sadly out of our hands. Thankfully the version of Flash Firefox uses is more lenient -- you should be able to play on there!

what's with that sudden gem-rocket-jump on chests? 10gem for fine chest...ok.. but superior which is next need 125gem?!?

Nice to find a game that free roaming and not on auto-pilot. Do it yourself battle. Reminds me of some old school games. But as some people have been saying about shop prices or gems used to open chest found. That kinda a big turn-off to some and would make some think this is pay to play type game. Keys would be nice to have to open chest not having to use gems. Makes it harder for us to save for other stuff in the game and makes us feel that we have to spend to be able to enjoy the game. Remember the community is made up of non-casher and casher players. Just my opinion but otherwise game is awesome.
Thanks Briar! We're very mindful that not all of our players pay money in the game, and we've designed the game to be fun for everyone. Many of our top players don't spend any money in the game, and we're happy with that. =) For example, you mention chests, but you can also earn awesome items in the world, by using the forge, or by opening (for free) the lockboxes dropped by bosses and given from some quests.

@Shannensl you can change the character's appearance via Shop->Loot->Skins, but - as per usual in this game - it costs (way too many) gems to do that

nice games, but only one issue so far, the inventory is too small, sure i can unlock more, but for 300 gems? way too much, i wouldn't mind increase for gold.

i play this game on facebook, and for people saying it's pay pay pay, it's not. there's a feature where you upgrade your armor but it unlocks after passing certain stages of the game, where you can be end game and not have to pay.

Quite a bit of fun. Graphics are smooth, though for some reason I can only set the quality to low and medium? Combat takes a bit getting used to. Would like to be able to use arrow keys to move around. And I would like to be able to get rid of the 'you got this!' popup or make it less obtrusive. Other than that, this game is a lot of fun!

A very smooth game so far. On the plus side I really enjoy the party play along with how easy it is to play. Also, I love that there isn't a energy cost or timer restricting your game play. My only negative so far is how much they push to have you purchase items with kreds. Fortunately you definitely dont need these items to progress in the game.

So far i am greatly enjoying this game, there are only two aspects as of now that i do not find appealing. First and foremost NO GENDER LOCK, this is an evil thing to do. Second, its kinda dumb to find chests in a map that u have to pay gems to open, when u just buy gem chests from the store. Either remove them, let us find keys, or make them randomly appear on a map and not cost to open (like a chest should be). Other than that great game guys, look forward to updates and see where you go with it.
Thanks for the feedback! By gender lock, do you mean you want to play as a female character? As for chests, we offer them in the shop as a convenience to players. But it's more fun to open them in the world. =) Re: their costs, they cost gems because they guarantee a great item. We also have lockboxes in the game that are free to open but have a chance to grant you a variety of items.

Those one-time purchases are completely optional for players to want to get a leg up early. You'll also find great weapons in the world and by using the forge. =)

well must say I am more then a little disappoint and can't help but feeling like I got ripped off a little so I bought some gems cuase I had amazing deal on a sword buy right now thing it was a orange sword crazy stats only 200 gems and useable at my meager level 8 over 60 damage so I desided to buy some gems to get it but in buying the gems after the transation was made game reloaded and offer was gone you guys need to fix that shit cuase I feel like I got mislead into picking up gems and will most likely never bother doing so again as its a mild form of faults advertizment

I really like the game, even though am not a fan of browser games, MMOs or anything the like. It doesn't flood you with purchasing messages, you can get by with playing free. As a whale in other MMOs on Kong, I probably should know better.

Couple changes that I think would make this game really solid. 1) Add the ability to hold a button down to attack in place. 2) Make skills auto cast when a monster is targeted. 3) Reduce the games lag (could just be me).

(1) If you hold the shift key while attacking, you should attack in place (note that you still need to be targeting an enemy to do this.
(2) That's actually something we're experimenting with for the tablet version of the game (coming soon!), so it may find its way to the web version as well. =)
(3) Lag is the bane of a web games existence. =) We're constantly working to improve overall performance. Can you give us some more details on what exactly you mean by "lag"? And which browser were you using?
