Can't reset the stalactite game. The "eraser" only gets rid of the very top layer but no more. Can see this hasn't been resolved since 2018.

I never knew you could skip the cave to get to the second half of the game! That's very cool! If you can remember the line patterns, that is. Saved SO much time on this game!

I always start one of these Rusty Lake escape games and end up doing them all! It's almost a yearly tradition at this point. I just heard a loud thump, it's 4:47 AM. There shouldn't be anyone here...Ack!

There needs to be a way to just auto-reset the tentacle puzzle so I can just follow a walkthrough and get on with the game.

It's just as well that you didn't complete it, Lumin. At the end, all it does is say "TO BE CONTINUED". That's IT?!? Given how much pain and suffering you have to go through to beat this game, I'd think the players deserve a lot more than that. Given the disturbing imagery (someone cutting off his own arm? a puzzle with dog turd? spirit cooking?) and the insane moon logic needed to solve these games, I can't help but think that the programmer is part of some kind of cult.

Honestly was loving this game right up until the octopus section. No matter how hard or how long I tried to get all of them to pop up, I couldn't do it, and it completely destroyed any desire I had to keep playing. It was annoying and unnecessary.

I ran out of power! I know what I need to do but not how to fix the power source. Grumble Grumble. I was hoping to make it through without the walkthrough

Lighting the hanging fish on fire was over-the-line unintuitive, as was the anglerfish puzzle, which I'm still stuck on even with the hint. Ah well, I'm used to at least one of the puzzles in this series sending me for a walkthrough.

I really didn't find myself enjoying the second half of the game. I had accidentally sequence broken the puzzle and had to brute force my way through finding the third cube and final destination.

Great potential, terrible execution. Puzzles that you can't see are supposed to be creative? Puzzles that you just click and click and click to try and figure out what to do? A big miss. Too much nonsensical story. A real shame, because it has such potential.

would love to finish your game but the lack of a developer response to my formal bug report and my bug report in my comment has really soured me on this experience. as it is, i cannot finish the game. i have no desire to start over.

Anyhow, I love this series, and this is another eerie and gripping installment. I think this one has my overall favorite puzzles, and I'm amazed at how much longer it is than I expected. The work that goes into these games keeps shining through brighter with each installment, and I look forward to wherever the mystery takes the story next.

@ahm88 and others who messed up the stalactite; the dripping stone all the way to the right is actually an "eraser", so just move your mineral pile under it and it'll dissolve it one layer at a time. Takes a bit, but it does work.

not sure, but there may be a bug. SPOILERS: through trial and error, i found all of the cubes before i caught any of the fish. so the first code i entered was K... From a walkthrough I read, it looks like the first code i should have found as I... But I'm worried that because I did K.., the game won't respond to the other codes. I can't get the big angler to appear to eat the fish and the O... code from roasting the fish won't work either. Is there a solution to this problem or am I just screwed?

did the thing with the fish, got the three letter phrase. put it into the machine but nothing happens. used the hint -- and it tells me that i'm doing this correctly. so is this a bug, or have i not correctly solved the puzzle yet?
