Cube Escape series have always been harsh to my CPU for some reason, but this one lags like crazy. Some animations may take up to half minute slow movement after their sounds have stopped, and the only way to avoid that is to leave current scene and get back.

Just correcting @furrypony over in the best comments section, I am pretty sure the sanskrit word for human is manush, not manupa. You can see the diagonal line in the last symbol which makes it pronounce as "sh"......................................................................................................AND once again, this game has brought out the weirdness along with a new perspective to life. You have amazed me once again, RustyLake! 5/5

@Draconian12 What are you for a poor, lonely and dumb fool, that you neither got the respect to keep your ridiculous opinion for yourself, nor recognise an outstanding game if it bites you?If I would believe in "god",I´d pray for your sucess in becoming an human being, but so...

I hope that we eventually reach a choice, where we can choose to continue on the path given by the lake or to reach towards the truth

Don't pick up more than six items at a time. It appears you can't scroll through inventory on the side at all, and i just got to a point where I can't use the empty glass to make a bloody mary now.

Also, the number six repeats a lot. For example, a cube has 6 sides, and light and dark are like a yin yang type deal maybe. Anywho, in Buddhism, 6 correlates to the Wheel of Life. 108 is also a important number, 108 of course being divisible by 6, leading to 18, which is three sixes, which, if you care to go on a random wiki hunt, you will understand has more meaning and relations. Or maybe I'm just making stuff up.

So basically, Mr. Owl is Wisdom, maybe even an incarnation of the Buddha. You are yourself and the various characters you meet throughout. Each as a stage of your reincarnated soul. By completing each game, you are evolving your consciousness to a higher level. Eventually, with enough work, and through Buddhist principles (separation of the self, the detachment of suffering, etc) you will one day reach Nirvana. The settings maybe a limbo like plane of non-existence in which your mind may transcend the physical world and continue the path of enlightenment. Just my two sense. I don't remember everything from previous games, but the themes fit.

I hate how the badge comes after you've beaten the games for these series, but don't get awarded unless you play it again. Otherwise, as always, incredible game!

Side effects of drinking can include "vomiting", melancholy, headaches, frequent bathroom breaks and personality changes. Be warned kids.

Really interesting game, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like "click until you figure out puzzles". Well, this wasn't that much of a clicker, more of a thinker. Can't say that I understood everything, as this is my first game from this series, but I enjoyed that dark and creepy theme, and the puzzles (though I wanted to finish and was stuck, so had to use guide in woman part puzzle and windmill part). 5/5 for something different.

Ahhh these Rusty lake games... although excellent, they have no love for badges. I again had to complete it three times, once for fun, once for the badge and the third time because of how Kongregate disconnected from the session no idea why. I became irritated by this. I'm sure this irritation could be addressed easily.

This one felt more straightforward than some of the previous ones. And it started to firmly connect some of these plot elements. One of the best ones in the series so far. 5/5.

wow.. spoiler alert
Try to give the man gin tonic 2 gin 2 tonic
after the end of fifth show, check the man seat and get a easter egg after entering "bad egg" on piano

Oh hell yeah!
Got through the game without looking at the walkthrough ONCE!
I think I'm starting to get in the mind of the developer. The puzzles are starting to make sense in their weird way.

Why do these games keep getting badged? It's bad enough with the hideous cow dung non-logic, but having to click some things upwards of 20 times instead of simply clicking on it ONCE and letting it do its thing and having to wait for upwards of a full minute for the PAINFULLY slow animation to catch up with the voice acting makes it far, far worse. 1/5 and you're only getting THAT high because Kongregate won't allow me to rate you any lower.
