People are being too harsh with this dev. Do you know how hard it is to make a game? I'm impressed as it took me a few hours to complete it which is more than I can say for half the games on congregate. It was amusing and creative.. Boss was fairly challenging.. But blast those, "infernal birds!" Thank you for the entertainment RZUF79! 5/5.
Thank YOU. :)
I can somewhat understand the frustration of some people, especially the windows/Firefox users, as this particular configuration seems to cause major glitches in movement.

no volume slider or at least a music only toggle cabbages lag when shot and extremely short to where i didnt even get to fully upgrade even though most upgrades are pretty much worthless beyond a certain point 0/11 you cant sequel bait a short game because the sequel should be in this game or it shouldnt be released

When I shot at the cabbages at the end, my firefox started to stutter, so it's poorly optimised I guess? I also wish the music were a tad better, else it's a fun little one.

Biggest issue was keys presses/release not being registered. Sometimes I would release a direction key and it would keep moving in that direction until I pressed it down and released again... VERY problematic in a game like this.
This issue seems to occur only on the Windows version of Firefox. Still trying to figure it out. :(
In the meantime, @barbed_wire83 was kind enough to send me a solution that fixed the controls glitch for him:
"You have to lower the repeat rate of the keyboard. To do this, open your control panel and choose either Keyboard or Keyboard settings (depends on the version of Windows), then in the Repeat Rate option, move the selection bar all the way over to the ‘Slow’ side. Now depending on how new your machine is, you can move it farther away from the ‘Slow’ side."
Because I spent my precious time recording the soundtrack and I want you to hear it. :D
But seriously, the mute button is there, in the pause/inventory menu you open by pressing the backpack icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Now this is what embodies why I originally fell in love with kongregate. Short but fun with focus on polish over graphics (not that they are bad). Great work! 5/5

Cute little shoter game. Not anything particulary mindblowing(then again i didn't expect it to be), but good enjoyable timekiller.
PS: Witam rodaka;)

A comedic short bullet hell game. Thanks for making it Piotr! A sequel to find the boss would be awesome, no pressure though ;)

oh come on! f*ck you with wasd only!
("you can change the mapping of your kb" yes I know and I don't want to)
the game is maybe good but I will never know
You can still play with arrow keys. They work too.
In such case, it prolly won't be very comfortable to use space, but you don't really have to as you can just click on everything.

With all the flak you are getting over typos, you might want to give Grammarly a try. It's actually quite good! http://gram.ly/tKGN

"You arrive at the town gates. You should ask that *dangerously* (should be dangerous) looking guard over yonder to open them."

Pretty cool game. I like the battle system and how much of a difference upgrades make, yet the battles are still challenging enough to not be boring. The only thing that I don't like is there is no penalty at all for dying. Why walk all the way back to town avoiding enemies to heal, when you can just die and instantly have full health again? Anyhow, 5/5

"You clear the monster's reains of your face." *sigh* Amazing how the best parts of this are completely intentional, like those two-mistakes-in-two-words. A respectable upgrade system, enough pithy dialogue to be amusing without arrogant, and an actual GAME underneath it all! 4/5, three Hail Marys, and a hundred retypes of "the quick brown fox."

Short and very sweet. The goofy charm was what really drew me in, but the solid mechanics were what kept me playing through the end. I really like how the upgrades actually change the way you play the game (you can go from playing a dodgy and defensive style to run-and-gun, or a cover fighter who plays the corners).
I very much look forward to part two! My hope is that you will expand the mechanics, but do so in a way that keeps the focus and polish that made this entry so much fun. Cheers!

Nice little games like this one as so rare these times. I mean that's a real game, not a pay to play, or idle thing. 5/5 for me

The one really annoying thing about this game is that if you accidentally wander too far south trying to dodge things during the boss fight, it takes you to another screen and you have to start all over. The game would be great, if it weren't for that.

I wandered south (down) to next section of map and my character disappeared. I am still moving, just can't see myself. Firefox Ubuntu
I can't contact you, as you made your profile private. The game was treated on plethora of systems and browsers and I am unable to perform such thing. :/

Really loved this game how it jokes about the usual RPG-genre with its nice pixelart settings. Also that billboard town has soo much truth inside - what else is a real town actually aside enterable billboards with no real content, haha. The only thing that I actually miss inside the game is something like an uber-upgrade that makes you hillariously OP - maybe the last boss drops a scroll to increase bubble size and makes bubbles penetrate everything or something? 5/5

If only I didn't have to clik for every new attack, then these upgrades would be way more fun!
Please make a change so that keeping left mouse button pressed keeps attacking until I release the button.
Since that constant clicking is really tiring :-/
But otherwise, a really cool game!

Game is surprisingly polished. Love how everything waits for you to move before attacking when you enter a new screen. Love is in the details!
