Why is the quantity limit on treats there? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious, and a bit confused. We already have to come up with enough kash to pay for the quantity we want, so why limit how many we can get at all? Is it really necessary to have a potential full halt in progress to the game like that if the stocks run out because a kitty needs bread as a treat, and bread is also the best way to buy hearts if you have extra kash = goodbye bread stocks for that earth-day?
We've made a lot of adjustments to how fast Treats regen, and we might have a bit more work ahead. Basically it's to create supply/demand market value for Treats, and get players to think about them a bit more strategically. In Crush Crush, Gifts were unlimited, and eventually cheaper gifts lost all semblance of value because they became trivialized. So the end goal is to make it interesting, but definitely not a burden. (Well, maybe just a little. Make those restocks a bit more valuable.)

I don't mind the fact that we can't buy time blocks directly from the shop this time, but it does raise a minor concern for me since I like to (eventually) have the ability to do Everything all at once. Just, please be careful, and make sure it is balanced, as well as (my preference) actually do-able to have all jobs and crafts going at once while still being able to date kitties! :) (I'd be okay with seeing time blocks come back to the shop, or be in events for this, but I'm sure the developers will come up with something brilliant! :) )
We completely agree! If it feels like Time Blocks are a bit scarce, it's because we're also wiring them in as rewards for a few systems that aren't in yet. But our inner OCD too won't be satisfied until everything is running at once!

Apparently when I go to take a nap the game thinks I'm level one again, but I keep all my xp so I unlock a ton of time blocks again. Assuming this is a bug since otherwise time blocks are going to be basically worthless.

the amount of hearts you get from crafts REALLY needs to be upped. it's not even worth it to give them to the cats when they don't need it to level
Great feedback! We're making adjustments, based on the new reset formulas, we just didn't want to overdo it while we're tweaking them. This is great feedback though - it confirms our own feelings that the Crafts are too weak. <3

When I win a new kitty through an achievement, it always shows up as a green common marker, even if it's a rare kitty. It's fine in the list of kitties though. (For example: Creme showed as a green/common kitty when I won her, but is a blue/rare kitty in the list of kitties.)

Also, for me, it seems if I don't have quite enough cash on hand to pay for a treat, then I wait in the payment screen to buy it a few seconds later when I have enough, the button never pops. I end up having to go back out to the shop, click on the treat in question again, and then I can buy it. It would be helpful if the button was able to be clicked as soon as I had enough money on hand to buy the quantity I wanted, just like in CrushCrush.

Ah, I figured it out. I have to refresh the game / reload the page to be able to nap again, if I did previously that session. It would be very helpful if i didn't have to refresh to nap! :)

Totally obsessed with this game. I made a kongregate account just so I could save my progress fully. I do wish that when you go idle that you could automatically continue the dates. Like it would just keep hitting the restart date button when you were offline. Cause I know 15min date isn't much but I got a "I need 45 Zesty Fiestas" and I just napped instead cause that was way too much clicking time devoted. Even if I had to keep the game running to auto refresh the dates I would.

Consider letting us devote more time units to a task/job and have it cut the time spent, maybe 50% more time spent = 10% reduced time required, up to like 60-80%?

Before playing: I'm a Christian, and I don't want to play an inappropriate game. I found out Crush Crush was such, and I was disappointed because it had terrific mechanics. Could this give me a replacement?

I still retain that we need money balance. The kitties are higher level than 5 now and at level 8 the Uncommons need a Tropical Getaway and I'm waiting for the store to restock to see what Chloe needs next level. Out of this World Date is going to seem impossible, especially for multiples.

i loved crush crush but this is literaly the same game with new graphics and sounds with the addiction of crafts instead of hobbys

While I'm complaining, you should really include information on what you can find in the baskets, and at what rates. It would really help in deciding what baskets are worth purchasing.

I just had the same thing happened. Bought my first 300 basket, got an outfit for a cat! I wouldn't mind if those were an occasional bonus or something, but when it takes the place of a cat...that's just painful.

well, I spent my first 300 taiyaki to get a new cat that I could grind through the levels with to get some much needed xp, and I got a rainbow outfit for one of the starter six in stead... 300 more taiyaki is going to be a slog an a half to get saved up, especially without anything new to generate with other than the starting 6 cats...

So, after making Crush Crush with a lot of adorable/strange/mentally challenged girls we get kitties? Well, I would have preferred more girls, but whatever. Good Job.

The problem is when you nap, you don't get any XP for levelling up cats again, so XP gain is excessively slow and needs rebalancing.

Something I was wondering about why the left click gives about 7-8 hearts and the right click gives only about 2 hearts...
yah? Do you have many add-ons running in your browser? Any info you can share about your computer and browser (graphics card too?) would help. We developed this one on pretty new computers so we might have to try testing it on something older.

progression is stupidly slow right now The game is in desperate need of better nap rewards. Just add in the crush crush mechanic where you get a little bonus for repeating actions every restart
I'll let OjiPanda know! I like how Crush Crush works too, the system is already pretty solid there but we tried new things in this game to see how they'd work. Turns out ppl want it to play more like CC so we're slowly bringing it back to that :P
Thank you! Your comments are really great, and super helpful. If you have any other ideas for ways we could make this game more enjoyable we'd love to hear them!

It might be useful to be able to double click on each individual craft or job on their boxes, to start and stop them too. Instead of having to go back and forth for every one. That would be a nice option, I think.

Trying to click on and drag the white scroll bar on the side for the Crafts and the Jobs pages, doesn't work for me. I have to click and drag the main pictures to move them.
Oh, I think it might just be an indicator of where you are on the page but if it makes more sense that you should be able to click the bar too then we could look at adding that in!

Cute game! The only thing I have is that it takes a very long time to collect all the hearts the cats need after all the other requirements have been met. This makes it feel more like a clicker than an idle game. Is it possible to have the hearts fill up by themselves over time?
We're currently chatting about how we should implement an auto-heart generation. It might make the most sense to have the kitty's fav 'craft/skill' level influence an auto heart thing. So the higher your level in that craft the more hearts they'll earn idly.

Shouldn't there be progress bars for the achievements. While on the topic of achievements, how come there are no achievements for jobs?
I'll ask OjiPanda, maybe it was an oversight to not have job achievements... and progress bars for relevant ones should be in there you're right, like at least the ones like 'play for 24 hrs' should tell you how far you're at..etc. Thanks for suggesting that!

For anyone who doing kitten date. DO NOT remove that kitten from party. It will cancel the date and you need to re-do the date.
Oh yeah! Sorry it's not very well explained in the game yet but on the 'nap time' page you can see your sugar boost total at the top, and your pending boosters at the bottom. What you have at the number is your current speed multiplier. It speeds up everything in the game by that much. If you have a number sitting in the pending boosters at the bottom then as soon as you do a 'nap time' for the kitties, it will add that pending boost to your total. In short, the sugar boost speeds up your game :) You get those from leveling up your catsanova rank and leveling up kitties.

Is there some kind of cooldown or something on nap time? That should probably be mentioned somewhere so one can plan according
I agree - we mentioned it in the news post only, but OjiPanda still needs to write something for the game to tell you. The cooldown only lasts as long as you have the tab open, so if you refresh the page nap time should be available again. I think this was meant to be a temporary thing for the nap time - he's still designing how the final thing will play out.

I have a bug to report.
I have unlocked Quillbo Baggins, but his portrait in achievements is still blank :) Lovely game btw! <3

No, the new balance doesn't give enough money for treats for hearts. I'm level 6 with 127% boost and 29 time slots. Yesterday I didn't have enough money for potted plants. I didn't play for over 24 hours. I come back and buy things including crabcakes and nigiri sushi, and I still need another crabcake, a catpuccino and a tropical getaway, but I either have to stop playing again or reset.
