re: the tutorial playing again when I hit rank 8 (i can't figure out how to reply to a comment), my progress and everything was kept, it was just the tutorial that popped up again!

Making each tier of an achievement you've already earned selectable would be amazing, I always love reading the different flavor text behind them.

Yeah, it's a pretty fun game, with several improvements on the Crush Crush formula, but the current lootbox system is flawed. After reaching Rank 8, the game stalls until you can get more cats for more achievements. And after three baskets and no new cats, Sugar accumulation is too slow to keep me playing. I'm eagerly awaiting updates, but for now I'm stuck with only the option to loop the same cats for the same taiyaki forever.
We're currently in the process of giving the loot system an update, so thanks for the feedback. And thanks also for the progression critique - this is actually something we'll be addressing with new systems, to help expand the game's experience. We also plan to add more Kitties over time - we just need to smooth over some obvious rough edges first. Thanks again for your feedback!

There was this chat bubble at Chloe and I closed it since this moment I couldn't click the cat tab again , but everything else works

Am I alone in getting stuck in the tutorial? It told me to pet the cat, and I did so until it had a full heart meter, now I've just got an arrow pointing to the cat but nothing to click on.
What happens if you refresh the page? Maybe do a full reset (from the settings/gear icon) and let me know if you experience the same issue in the tutorial. We haven't been able to reproduce that one so maybe there's something unique about your game.
Some of them aren't hooked up yet, but you can click in that area and drag with your mouse. It's meant more for mobile controls, so the scrollbars on some things are just indicators that there's more below the fold.

I actually really like this game, it's like crush crush but with cute cats. I do think there's a slight problem. When i reloaded the game it said I was ofline for a few seconds witch was correct but when I looked I had over a 100 000 dollars and the active crafting was over 200. The time might not funtion a 100% yet. Just want to let you know. (Sorry for bad my bad English I'm from Belgium)
Thanks for letting us know! That might be a bug. Are you saying the craft level was over 200, or the items you generated were at 200? It might be that you did earn the 100 000 dollars if you had enough jobs running. Any more info (or screenshots) would help :) Thank you!

Adorable, and very addictive, but I've found two minor problems. when I first got My Krooba out of the basket, it said he was a common cat. I think the same happened with Creme, although I can't really remember. and once I got to level 8, the game tutorial popped up again, introducing how to play the game and all that.
That's intentional design, to keep the player actively running things and using up those resources. Otherwise you'd just log in once a month to do a little bit and move on to the next thing.

I spent actual kreds to get another cat and I got a sparkly skin for one of the cats I already had? Oh hell no. That's the last kred purchase I make.
Ouch. :( We'll take another look at how we've implemented the monetization structure - you should definitely not feel bummed out by a purchase! Thanks for the feedback, we'll try our best to improve this.

New update doesn't fix the crafting leveling thing -- I need 10k boots, and I am not going to bother with this game if I need to go through 10k x 3 minutes even if naptimes bring it down to 1 minute, that would still be 7 days. Sorry, was a cute 4 star game until this.
The intended design here is that Taiyaki remains an actively valuable resource for these sorts of crazy requirements - as you become more powerful and farm more and more Taiyaki, it gives you the ability to blast your way deeper (with some help from your spam-click speed up ability) into the requirements. However, if it felt REALLY bad to hit that wall, it's probably much too harsh. We'll take another look. Thanks very much for your feedback.
Oh yay! That's great news - a few players suggested it so we chatted about it and it made sense to add it in. If there are other quality-of-life improvements like that you think would make the game more fun we'd love to hear them!

So, my problem with the latest update is, because I hadn't taken a nap before the change, I just lost 60+ taiyaki. That's super annoying.

Auto-heart generation doesn't work. I'm crafting boots, but hearts for Chloe, who claims to love Fishing, aren't filling.

Leveling up crafts no longer nets you the same number of crafts as your level is, so what does level in the craft mean anymore?
Are you sure it wasn't Quillbo's outfit? Since you already won her in an earlier catsanova reward now this lvl 9 one could be her rainbow outfit? You can check by clicking the sparkle button below her level / name.

Seems like v0.83 killed my save.
Considering this game can't decide if it wants to be a clicker or an idle, with downtimes too long for active play, yet requiring you to click on everything to progress, I don't think I'll bother again.
Sorry for the lost save. :( There seem to be a few caching issues witht he build that we're still sorting out. Thank you for the feedback though - we're trying to strike a balance between a true idler and a clicker, so knowing that its not quite there is useful.

Why is the quantity limit on treats there? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious, and a bit confused. We already have to come up with enough kash to pay for the quantity we want, so why limit how many we can get at all? Is it really necessary to have a potential full halt in progress to the game like that if the stocks run out because a kitty needs bread as a treat, and bread is also the best way to buy hearts if you have extra kash = goodbye bread stocks for that earth-day?
We've made a lot of adjustments to how fast Treats regen, and we might have a bit more work ahead. Basically it's to create supply/demand market value for Treats, and get players to think about them a bit more strategically. In Crush Crush, Gifts were unlimited, and eventually cheaper gifts lost all semblance of value because they became trivialized. So the end goal is to make it interesting, but definitely not a burden. (Well, maybe just a little. Make those restocks a bit more valuable.)

I don't mind the fact that we can't buy time blocks directly from the shop this time, but it does raise a minor concern for me since I like to (eventually) have the ability to do Everything all at once. Just, please be careful, and make sure it is balanced, as well as (my preference) actually do-able to have all jobs and crafts going at once while still being able to date kitties! :) (I'd be okay with seeing time blocks come back to the shop, or be in events for this, but I'm sure the developers will come up with something brilliant! :) )
We completely agree! If it feels like Time Blocks are a bit scarce, it's because we're also wiring them in as rewards for a few systems that aren't in yet. But our inner OCD too won't be satisfied until everything is running at once!

Apparently when I go to take a nap the game thinks I'm level one again, but I keep all my xp so I unlock a ton of time blocks again. Assuming this is a bug since otherwise time blocks are going to be basically worthless.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the amount of hearts you get from crafts REALLY needs to be upped. it's not even worth it to give them to the cats when they don't need it to level
Great feedback! We're making adjustments, based on the new reset formulas, we just didn't want to overdo it while we're tweaking them. This is great feedback though - it confirms our own feelings that the Crafts are too weak. <3

When I win a new kitty through an achievement, it always shows up as a green common marker, even if it's a rare kitty. It's fine in the list of kitties though. (For example: Creme showed as a green/common kitty when I won her, but is a blue/rare kitty in the list of kitties.)

Also, for me, it seems if I don't have quite enough cash on hand to pay for a treat, then I wait in the payment screen to buy it a few seconds later when I have enough, the button never pops. I end up having to go back out to the shop, click on the treat in question again, and then I can buy it. It would be helpful if the button was able to be clicked as soon as I had enough money on hand to buy the quantity I wanted, just like in CrushCrush.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ah, I figured it out. I have to refresh the game / reload the page to be able to nap again, if I did previously that session. It would be very helpful if i didn't have to refresh to nap! :)

Totally obsessed with this game. I made a kongregate account just so I could save my progress fully. I do wish that when you go idle that you could automatically continue the dates. Like it would just keep hitting the restart date button when you were offline. Cause I know 15min date isn't much but I got a "I need 45 Zesty Fiestas" and I just napped instead cause that was way too much clicking time devoted. Even if I had to keep the game running to auto refresh the dates I would.

Consider letting us devote more time units to a task/job and have it cut the time spent, maybe 50% more time spent = 10% reduced time required, up to like 60-80%?
