The new kitty levels are awesome but I'm sure you know about the frozen dating, store, crafts, jobs, inability to get into stats. I'm sure you're working hard to get the game running for us. It's very much appreciated and I can't wait to play with my kitties again!!
It's still in alpha so there might be some game breaking bugs we haven't found yet - but we're happy to restore any purchases you made and add extra to make up for the loss of progress. Just email support@sadpandastudios.com with your SPS ID and info (the ID is found on the settings popup)

I normally would have reset by now but I waited and had 450 mil. After buying the Catpuccinos, I now have 73 mil and kitties who need Out Of This World dates. This is the most money I've had, and then I reset.

For my game, since I have enough crafts saved up, I have the first nine jobs running for a few days. Earning money is quite harder now and I've never had enough to buy a Catpuccinos for $378 Mil.

With my Rares, now, I skip dating Out Of This World because it will take too long to get $1,000,000,000 for each kitty. I'm on level 4 of them and have 200mil. Thats a far reach.
I'm just curious - for your game, and everyone else's, how many jobs have you got running and what is the total amount of kitty kash you've earned? Oji Panda is still making tweaks to the balance so it would be helpful to know this stuff after the game has been running for a few weeks.

Also... devs, try this: Send one of your kitties (Kitty A) out on a date. Then, while Kitty A is still out on their date, switch to another kitty (Kitty B). From Kitty B's tab, click the "Party Management" button. Remove Kitty A from your party, then re-add them. Now go back to Kitty A's tab. It does... interesting things.

FYI: I'm still seeing the DB InvalidStateError / Mutation Operation issue that others have mentioned in the comments previously. v0.47 Alpha, Windows 10 Firefox 58 (64bit). Hasn't *seemed* to be much of an issue - I can just click the `Ok` button and carry on as normal without any apparent ill effects. I've seen it either 3 or 4 times so far - always on the "Kitties" tab, but other than that no pattern that I've noticed. Has happened mostly right after I've clicked the mouse on something, but I'm pretty sure I recall it happening once when I hadn't recently clicked but was just staring at the screen waiting for some numbers to tick over. Not sure how helpful that was, but at least another data point for you... :-/

I find too much enjoyment in making songs with the tabs at the bottom of the screen to pass the time.
On the whole I find this game to be just so darn charming, but I have one complaint, on the Catsmith achievement I can't believe you guys missed out on the easy "Excalipurr" pun! I guess that's why this game is still in Alpha :p

I'm at level 30 for origami at it says I need 379 million until the next level. 379 million is a bit high, at that rate I'll never get to level 50...

Just a heads up, looks like the date timer moves faster than real time. I noticed it was only taking 13-14 seconds for a 20 second date.
If you've prestiged (used the Nap Time to soft reset) then it will go faster - but if that looks weird having it not match real time then we could look at adjusting it to count down the updated faster amount.

I really dislike how pay-to-play this is. The store runs out of stock on stuff and you have to spend currency that is NOT EASY to get to refill??

glad to see the re-balance but i will miss tight roping maxed out and bringing in 7 trillion every third of a second and just so close to max only had writing left on crafts

Soooo, the level cap for crafts is now 30, but the acheivments are asking for level 99? I hope they fix the level cap to 99 soon, or else I won't be able to earn any more xp.
You're absolutely right - somehow we forgot to consider the achievements so those will be updated soon! Great catch ^^; sorry we didn't realize this sooner.
The jobs/crafts are going to be capped at lvl 30 so the balance doesn't work with levels higher than that and that's the reason for those crazy numbers! Should have a new build up soon with the level caps

Maybe they could add a heart icon above the cat portraits indicating that you are currently on a date with them. I keep forgetting which cat is tying up my time blocks.

I haven't actually bought a gift basket yet. When I got close to 300 taiyaki the first time my game reset. Whet I meant by no guarantees is that the tool tips don't seem to work and I can't figure out what is in any of the baskets. Is there always at least one cat in each basket until you max out rarity levels?
Ah I gotcha! The 'i' icon is going to show the drop rates and percentages we just haven't got those hooked up yet. And yes you will always win a kitty til that rarity is maxed :)

if you turn the game on and you're back at the beginning of the game hit reload. 3 times now I've started the game cried "oh god no!" hit reload and got it all back.

Doing the math, I make more money doing construction (3 seconds) than to waste 23 times on the watch (3 hours) .-. I make about over 1 million rn every 3 hours doing construction, to even level up watch takes about 3600 times meaning it will take 10800 hours, or 450 days .-. A little over the top dontcha think? I know it's in beta but can ya fix the math TwT

I'm level 8, 15 xp to 9th, with 6 max level cats. Even when I hit 9 there is no indication I get a new cat from the preview.
So I can either start a long slow painful pointless grind to get xp from skills, or a long slow painful pointless grind to relevel cats for pitiful amounts of taiyaki. Which, BTW, the basic taiyaki baskets don't give me the guarantee of a new cat either.
Or I can spend $10 real money to get the bells to either buy taiyaki for two chances at the previously mentioned no promises basic basket or 1 shot of the hopefully guaranteed one cat deluxe basket. And then when I max that cat out I will be stuck in exactly the same situation. Grind forever or pay more money.
This game isn't fun enough to be pay to win. If there isn't a re-balancing you can count me out.
There will be lots of tweaking and adjustments to the balance, this is only the first iteration - an alpha, not even beta. Couple questions: When you say the basket didn't guarantee a new cat, did it give you 3 items instead? Or did you already have a bunch of cats (15+) and perhaps it had no more to award in that rarity? The more cats you get to max level then reset with nap time, the faster the game will be so you should be able to accumulate taiyaki quickly after a certain point. But yah, balance is still undergoing lots of changes and improvements.
Wow! It says mutation, that's crazy. I've never seen an error like that before... thank you for sharing the screenshot :) I've let Programmer Panda know, so he will look into what might cause this particular popup.

@SadPandaStudios re: My Error Message..... at the Alpha 0.37 version, the error message appeared both when the game first loaded and every time I attempted to do anything in the game. The error message also appeared at the loading of the current Alpha 0.38 version today. However, I appear to be able to play the game at the moment without the game freezing and the error message reappearing during gameplay (just attempted a few things now to see).

A problem I feel is, on soft reset, the kitties reset their levels and needs, but the store doesn't reset to fill those needs.

Now that all kitties nap, some of the kitties are functionally impossible to level. When the requirement is 500 dates or 150 dates just for the first level, that's over 3 hours of constantly attentive game play just for that level. Who knows what is left on the remaining levels.
Will there be an option to queue dates in the near future?

Somebody said that the game says you get a new kitty every level :/ That's not true it says you CAN get a kitty when you level up
I passed on your comment to Oji Panda in case he can fix up the text so it's clear, but the image in the Catsanova rewards shows a preview of what you will be getting at the next level.

The Alpha 0.37 version has generated the following error message for me..."An error occurred running the Unity Content on this page. See your JavaScript console for more info. The error was: InvalidStateError. A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations." The game worked perfectly for me at the prior version. Sadly I will have to suspend playing until this is resolved in some way. The entire game freezes when I attempt to do things like earn hearts by holding down the mouse button.

Once you hit max affection with a kitty, it doesn't forget you when you nap, which causes major issues with farming for Taiyaki and boosts.
