I find that the patients claim of only chest pains seems realistic.
"Hey Doc, my chest hurts... what is it?"
"Well what about these symptoms?"
Seems to make sense to me, makes you really need to look for other symptoms to make the diagnosis.

I loved it. I have absolutely no interest in going into the medical field, but I loved it. I do feel like it's kind of cheating to just find the one symptom that gives the disease away, though. :P The grinding was not at all an issue for me, and it was nice that I got to learn a little bit more! :D Thank you for making this game!
I do wonder though: how is katiewoosmommy career level 6 (according to the high scores)?

Neat basis, but you have to grind a *lot* of patients to "unlock" further diseases, even though the diagnosis with only 12 or so diseases tends to be really straightforward. Since I assume the challenge and fun of the game would go up if I grind at this long enough to make it unlock more diseases, maybe make the credits earn a little faster so we can expand the possibilities. More game, less grind.

4/5 mostly for effort. This is incredibly in depth for a flash game. Clearly some bored med students had fun making this. A little confusing at times, but overall its fun to play and actually has some educational value. Only complaint would be the slight rip-offs from the television show, Scrubs.

As a pre-med student who volunteers in the ER, I can say this game is awesome. In future additions, consider adding lab results like alcohol levels,O2 concentrations or ion imbalances, etc.

In real life, if you read a chart and diagnosed someone with a heart attack after one sentence...you would be fired so fast your head would spin. This is not what its like to be a doctor...AT ALL.

Is it just me, or does this game remind you of a playable Scrubs? This might have been pointed out already, but I'm too lazy to look through the other comments. Dr. Grey is like Dr. Cox (from Scrubs), and the Lawyer person doesn't have a backbone, just like the lawyer from Scrubs. All in all, though, it's a fairly good game, and the sound effects are excellent!

Oh, also, there were many times when "Chest Pains" were the only symptom. How are we supposed to diagnose that?

needs a badge just for being different from everything else on kongregate...4/5 needs surgery or something other than matching symptoms to diseases to really get someone hooked though

its fun but holy crap it is a pain waiting for all the people to come in talk and go out why can they just come in instantly or make it so you can skip those parts

Good for those who are interested in this area of knowledge, boring otherwise. It'd be nice if you could try to attract even players who don't like this area.

by my last comment, i meant that a lot of it was a bit general. there is more to each particular risk factor. diagnosing something and treating someone is completely different. in real life, if someone goes into cardiac arrest, as an EMT, it's more than just saying "oh he's having a heart attack"

i am a EMT in the fire department taking paramedic courses. this game was interesting, although not essential unless you work clinicals or in a hospital.

Pretty good. Definitely could use a better icon though to attract people. Had a few bugs (had a diagnosis description that wouldn't go away without refreshing my browser) but otherwise not bad.
