great game! sorting out the items in both the garage and the store would be nice and also choosing a robot while in the store so we can compare its weapons and armors much faster.

Great game!! 5/5 and favorited. As many other people have said, the ability to sort shop items (by type, price, newness, scrap cost, etc.) would be very useful. After all the references to aliens in-game, I was hoping there would be an alien final boss.

Great game. I found a possible bug, though: the Reflector Shield Generator still allows some damage to leak through from ranged attacks. This is especially apparent in the later stages of the Survival mission, where there's sometimes 5 or 6 laser-firing bots coming down a lane.

Sorry dev, Kong has it so all I can see is a still advert for a bunch of cockroaches. No game ever loads and I've tried refreshing several times. I wonder if this was any good? I guess I'll never know.

@Moobs: Get something tanklike, i used duelling arms and later the lvl2 piston arms. works best until u get the good ones. Also use the scrap eater for a long time, the vamp is amazing. I didnt lose one match the whole game...
As for the ranged bots, try to get Focus Fire and go for long range weapons. they will shot all the time and power themselves up all the time.
Wait for the enemy to spawn so u see the lane, send 1 meelee and 2 range bots. they take out everything.
Use something small and cheap to run on free lanes and get points on 20-matches.

Very good game. Please update! A better inventory list in the garage would be good. I think that a lot of the items are a bit useless given that at later stages the cost of the bots are too high. maybe have more *very* expensive items that have low scrap cost. You could have versions of each item where scrap cost is higher or lower. Also - item creator would be great.

Hey in tue sequel make Models and more parts! (Example a robot with 2 slots to weapons "four hands") Models with the "Ship Legs" but the system to me is perfect, only need more stuff to dont boring :D, And well My idea is make a option to create custom models of weapons and all, not really a really complex but.. i make a firegun, You can select Missiles (Give armor piercing) Laser Ammo, so with the normal models you can configure all stats, a dual missile shooter! Dmgx2 (Cost x2 xD). Oh yes, 5/5 Obviusly.

The most expensive item isn't always the best. try to combine items with different effects and if you get stuck. load up on 3 large scrap boxes to pull you through.
corrosive and fire is more or less useless. Backlash and some healing core + combat spec. etc will save the day. useful to try is stunning blow and block as well. have two sets of close combat and two sets of range. one offensive and one defensive. sometimes if you get stuck, then try changing from close to ranged combat. several times I just had one kind off robot clearing the field.

By far one the best games i have played on Kong, loved it!! sure there were a few things i might have changed but over all you beat the crap out of the average games!!!!

flamethrowers rock, if u can't beat a lvl cauz they're ranged, then go flame with that shield and spawn ur guys just before they reach ur side so u get maximum flame dmg and minimum enemy fire

This is a really good game. I wish it were a bit longer, though. It's unfortunate that it was buried under the other 3 top games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the AI's seem to like marching their bots in pairs (tank and ranged) or in three (all same type). How about three with a tank, short ranged, and then long ranged to spice it up a bit?

I didn't see much of an issue with any of the levels. You get everything the opponents do, even if it's just a level after you face it. Double damage isn't hardcoded in, it's part of the Armor Breaker effect in those devastator claws. Either remove the components that apply armor to your mechs or just kill them before they become a problem. Not sure where half damage is coming from, my bots wrecked them if I played it right.
Remember that for elimination or defense you just need to kill the number of bots stated or survive for x amount of time. Don't waste bots in empty lanes. For 0/20 levels you need to rush, so keep an eye on the resources, come out ahead with general play, and then use the extra on your cheap rushing mechs to get points.

Damn...now I am completely stuck at the two missions "Disappearance of Krauss" and "Refininery Mishap", both times enemies regain resources much faster and I have not anything to win against them ;(

Well designed game, but i generally dislike, not to say "hate", this type of of spawn/ lane concept, which is oversimplifies the gameplay for real tactics. make it turn based with a map to move in all directions...

It would be nice to be able to share robot designs with others. Or fight user submitted robot teams. Just played through a 2nd time and the game only bugged out once! Had a blast!

@jsk1000 one of my bots has 2 parts with Armor II, and can block most of the time, but not always, I think rather then adding 50% to 50% (100%),the game adds 50% of 50% (25%) to 50% ( making it 75%), if I had 3 parts with it, it would add 50% of 50% of 50% (12.5%) to 50% of 50% (25%) to 50%, which means it would be at 87.5%

Really a 4.5/5 game. One of those games that deserves a 5/5 for great execution, but has several loose ends that need to be adressed. As others said, improve the inventory, either sorting or at leasta larger screen (add tooltips maybe?). Some minor bugs take off the polish. Factory Uprising is a nice idea, both fun and useful, but it would seem their bots get extreme boosts after a while (like double damage dealt, half damage taken?) - might be necessary, but frustrates me. Some functions are unclear: reflector shield does not stop all ranged attacks, and does Armor II + Block II stack to 100% or 75%, or not stack at all? Finally I'd like a way of knowing what parts I can still unlock and how (or even just hints or something like that). Already a great game, hope with some issues adressed it will get the score it deserves!
