when you autro resolve a battle when you have a general, He wont die so you can attackthe territory over and over again on the same turn and win, then move more guys int the territory

Great Game Idea, unfortunately way too unbalanced. To beat the AI, you simple need to get 2 Pikemen and 15-20 Archers.
Ignore the first enemy wave, then send on two lines your Pikemen (canon fodder) followed by your archers.
The enemy, low on MP (his first wave is gone), will now try to send his units on your two lines, where they are completely destroyed by your archers (the two pikemen are canon fudder). As soon as you've 3-4 Archers after each other on a line, they are so strong, that they may kill even cavallry by the time the cavalry reaches them or at least damage it so hard, overall, the archers are way more cost efficient than any other enemy unit.
I've just won a battle as Moors against Germans, where my 13 units won against 76 enemy units. I've lost 2 cheap moor archers, he lost his whole army!!!
Maximise this tactic by researching all ranged boni and hire an appropriate general (up to 60% more dmg).

I'm not entirely sure if it's a glitch, but you can attack from the same country multiple times a turn, as long as you don't deselect the country. Also, after doing this, you can move to an adjacent country you control and repeat the process. Finally, if you research the university (the one that decreases cost), it decreases the cost by 25% EVERY time you purchase something afterwards, so it's possible to unlock the entire tech tree for next to nothing. Also, this makes the tech tree free to unlock the NEXT time you play the game. As a result, the game is horribly balanced if you know what you are doing, and thus gets a 5/5 from me!

(1)Click and drag to move around the map..... (2) The battle is too fast-paced to identify which unit is coming in which lane and to deploy the advantageous unit in the same lane. By the time I see which unit it is, he is already near my edge and I end up spamming unit of every type in every lane.... (3) Melee units shouldn't attack one at a time. If I deployed 3 melee units in a lane, then all of them should attack the enemies in that lane, the same goes for the enemy too...... (4) Empires are unbalanced. I started with spanish and was attack by both french and moors and the moors capital was right next to mine with 3 times the army size and I lost my capital in the 2nd turn. While England seems to be the safest. you don't need to keep any units in the main land as long as you hold Normandy.

English Longbows are pretty OP. Let comp's initial wave pass by, then pick an open lane and drop 1-2 men at arms (optional) and then a bunch of longbowmen, then your generals. Your generals won't even show up on the map until the comp is almost dead, but you get their bonuses the whole time. Against anyone but the Moors with their Berber archers I have about a 4:1 kill ratio.
Also, if you set it up right you can conquer the entire map before the 5 turns of VP are up.

Combat system sucks, but idea is okay otherwise
NEVER copy from Warlords, the series was over when they gave players that shit with their sequel

For some reason my save didn't work properly and when I tried to load the game, the save was 5 years before and all of my researches were gone. Could you please fix this?

Save your game, refresh the browser then reload your game. This resets the countdown to win timer, the number of mercenaries available, the move and attack options for all regions, purchased upgrades (I don't know if it applies to the enemy), and the lag that accumulates over time.

Keep in mind that every opponent can only fight one battle per turn and you've already won the game. Also you will inflict overproportional damage against your foe when attacking or defending his main force with only 1 unit (auto-attack)

The Tutorial seems to be broken for me, as it only pops up after I'm starting my first battle but then drags on and on about all of the games functionality. Weird.

guys the website has alot more maps and auto battles is not broken fi you have good unit composition. aka good unit combination also mercs are sometimes useful!

(played as germans)got a force of over 200 men and auto battled all battles after. won all but...all the men was just pikemen...witch means.there good when there 200 :D

Manual battle is too fast. Need to reduce the speed by 50%. I don't have enough time to send out a spear/pike unit to counter a cavalry (on top of that, send them on the right lane) before they make it to my end of the battlefield.

Its a great game but it needs more than just all out battle. alliance options would be nice as well as varying objectives hope there's a sequal

you know the game 1066 that was a cool game now if you modify it a bit then incorporate the 1066 game concept in this game you will have a a nice combat system and a good strategy game

I liked the game honestly, but like everyone else i just hated the combat system. it was very boring after a while when i actually wanted to win a fight to have to manually send each individual soldier to its lane. Countries never seem to fight eachother as much as they fight me. anyways if you do decide to make a sequel just read the comments.
