(played as germans)got a force of over 200 men and auto battled all battles after. won all but...all the men was just pikemen...witch means.there good when there 200 :D

Manual battle is too fast. Need to reduce the speed by 50%. I don't have enough time to send out a spear/pike unit to counter a cavalry (on top of that, send them on the right lane) before they make it to my end of the battlefield.

Its a great game but it needs more than just all out battle. alliance options would be nice as well as varying objectives hope there's a sequal

you know the game 1066 that was a cool game now if you modify it a bit then incorporate the 1066 game concept in this game you will have a a nice combat system and a good strategy game

I liked the game honestly, but like everyone else i just hated the combat system. it was very boring after a while when i actually wanted to win a fight to have to manually send each individual soldier to its lane. Countries never seem to fight eachother as much as they fight me. anyways if you do decide to make a sequel just read the comments.

The combat system should be done away with. I really don't want to be forced to go into a pointless micro management combat system just so that I can save a few troops. More of a focus should be on the methods of which a nation evolves, discovering ways of dealing with the problems presented, and the managing to achieve strategically important counties.

i kinda hate the part where england is kinda the hardest to beat because they are taking a powding everywhere from the germans and the french the moors and spain not to forget about irealand and scotland

@DestinTheGreat
>Already played both of them :) I like this version way better :3 though there are a few bugs here and there but its great game :)

THIs game is very fun I hate the moors though they had to take over everywhere except the Germans (me). (jerky moors)

Guys, go to OWL (just click the link on the game's main menu) and when you play Swordfall: Kingdoms on their site, there are multiple maps, including ALL of Europe.

if you go to www.overworldlab.com you can play the full version free basically different maps and more factions! please like so more people will notice!

nice game, only one thing^^ there is a bug : if a longbow unit fight against a berber archer they don´t hit eachother and block the lane for the whole battle

VP countdown and then the game is over? What is this, a demo from '98? It WAS fun until the game decided that I had enough after I conquered 3/4 of the map. Couldn't let me win though, could it?

i found it strangely easy on impossible mode. if you just put 3 general to an army, and never bother to research new unit types, you quickly become unstoppable.

The "full" version is at overworldlabs, but it's not truly full, as there are a bunch of premiums... Well, at least we get to play as Russians, and those guys are seriously OP on every level.

Units Recruited:744 Enemies Killed:602 Battles Fought:43 Time Taken:43 Years
I won with these stats using england and only spearmen and archers.

heres how i won i chose england stayed there then builded up my forces then i attacked all of france killed them off took over some german places then took over the rest of europe and i won!

One over world labs you can save your game and play all the maps. France isn't that bad, you just need to blitz Germany until it goes away, then fortify your western border, after that whether you attack neutrals or other powers is all personal preference.

maybe a sequel could have an option for a defender to retreat to a different territory rather than die. its unfair for the attacker to retreat painlessly but the defender is forced to fight to the death

Someone said this before (that's how I found out). There's another map on overworld labs with the entirety of Europe and a bit of ME/North Africa.
