Folded_Phoenix, no she is not dead. It is simply a matter of the game having limited messages. So since she is no longer in the town, it registers her as being killed, which is the normal reason for someone's absence. (I realize that many people want those weapons, but I normally consider the people to be of more value; just something to think about the next time you play.)

I sent someone working on a farm to work with the love caravan and it said that:Since Xiu li Mastes was killed, nobody is tending the crops." Is she dead?

"Some strangers calling themselves the Granville Riffs rolled up to Chemainus to help with our "little zombie problem". They killed 0, and when we offered payment they said they were just doing it for kicks."

So I can either recruit survivors or build a wall around the place. So I build a wall around it and all the survivors magically disappear. Ok.

Zakkiwarsika1, I didn't fully follow your comment, but I am betting that at least one of suggestions which I will list will help you. First, near the top left of the page you will find a three layer color design (green/yellow/red). Click on the design. This will show you see at a quick look what you know about each square (e.g., if there are survivors or food on a square). It also lets you generally know how dangerous the square is. I especially love this part so that I know which squares need to be reclaimed. If you haven't scouted the area first though, it won't list any info. You should scout the areas at some point prior to killing zombies. (Part 2 continued...)

… Also, clicking on the square, you can see from the picture more description (e.g., either one or two survivors and either some food or lotsa food). To sum up, if you don't need food or survivors, you can see from the three layer overview which squares don't have any, or if there are spaces around that occupied square which are empty of survivors so that you can reclaim the square without recruiting if you have no room available (as they will move to a nearby empty square). If you have any further questions, feel free to pm me. Good luck!

This was my first time playing, and I got the cure. At first I struggled to get food, then when I finally started sustaining myself again I couldn't get rid of the unhappiness left from the starvation. Then I built a church and a bar, and started going into the "love caravan." I was out of the depression (literally) and finally going good. About that time, I got a laboratory and was visited by the mysterious scientist. 100 turns later, I developed the cure and won! I'm filled with the satisfaction of saving the world.

How about adding the ability to expand your control over just one city after you complete the first? Therefore, you will be able to raise a empire!

>Finds the cure for zombie-ism, keeps playing
>Later Gustav comes while we're working on the Helicopter
"We want the cure for zombie-ism, right?!?"

@Eaglez234: Don't ban the book. It's some free happiness with no actual downside. Just don't allow the request for the church that follows, unless you plan to go for that specific ending.

Trades a survivor for 2 Rocket Launchers from Gustav, 3 days Later "Gustav would like to by one of your unused Rocket Launchers for 100 food"

What I will never understand is the logic behind any survivors that are in the area that you are reclaiming, they get up and move to another square. What's going through their minds when they do this? "Look there's some humans killing the zombies in this place, and now they're going to add it to their fort. Let's move to another infested square instead of joining up with the fort."

I don't understand these zombies. 800 of them are knocking at my door (huge map, kind of tough) but even though the door is open, they don't come in! I haven't had a zombie attack in more than 50 rounds, aside from horde attacks ... well, I'm gonna leave for another city in a few rounds anyway. Still ...

Major Outlaw finds whisky in a schoolhouse. I ask why that would happen... my mom says it's because the teacher had a student like me... xD

Hello, my name is Major Outlaw and I look like Mr. Noodle from Elmo's World, that TV show for 2-year-olds that caused someone to go insane and create the first zombie. It certainly wasn't me...

-So you are from this huge, defended fortress with lots of reinforced outposts, plenty of food, new apartments, bars, hospitals, schoold and even electricity?
-Yes
-You will give me LMG if I join?
-Yes, most of us can melee dozen of zombie bare handed.
-And everybody is safe in your place?
-From moment our leader set first few blocks and start retaking whole city building, by building we had no deaths. Just few dog bittes, flue and 2 zombie bites, but everything was healed.
-YOU CAN HEAL ZOMBISM?
-Sure, we developed cure week ago. So you want to join our city?
-No I will rather stay in this place with 30 zombies near me.
-Oh, ok.

imo; I do not get this game at all, the only way to see what happened etc. is by ending the day, no idea how long to leave the men I sent to kill zombies in said building, its been 4 days and no word herd back from them but when I click the info it always stays the same.
How do you skill up your survivors or do they auto skill up?
I see no action happening or cut scenes for events etc.
I feel like a 'Helyn Keller' playing this game. :/ and a scary hypothetical thought that if this game were real life 90% of the population would all be zombies or dead etc. . . ironic 5/5
