Builder Leon Cox died of dysentry, built the barrier around another police station, then died again of starvation. That man, does not let his work go undone.

This game truly is crap. I keep giving it more chances, and every single time, I regret it. This last time was from a "horde spotted" warning that literally came right as it was on my doorstop and resulted in half my squares being lost and a quarter of the survivors. The levels are not very easy, normal, hard, harder and impossible. They are hard, harder, bulls***, total bulls***, and total f***ing bulls***. And I say that, not because the games are difficult, but because the "difficulty" comes, 90% of the time, from the game pulling something right the hell out of nowhere that suddenly makes your game (which you can't reload) completely unsalvageable. Bravo.

I regret any kind word I might have had about these games. You will never know just how catastrophically flawed they are until you try them at the higher levels. That's when it really becomes 100% luck. If you do not start off right next to a hospital and claim it ASAP, someone will die; it has never failed to randomly kill someone off on me within the first seven turns unless I managed to get a hospital before then. And when you see those percentages that indicate the likeliness of someone dying, add a zero to the end of it to get the real number; the computer will ALWAYS kill someone if it's 5% or higher. I get that it's supposed to be the "Harder" difficulty, but 90% of that harder difficulty is artificial -- it's the computer randomly jumping in and crippling you instead of giving you an actual challenge. Please, for the love of God, don't ever let there be a Rebuild 3.

My biggest complaint with this game would be with the endgame scenarios. I found both city hall and the portal, but attacking them over and over again obviously wasn't the solution to winning that way, likewise, taking over every square wasn't an option because zombie hordes become more frequent the more territory you control, and since missions get cancelled on account of approaching hordes, that inevitably presents a stalemate situation. So as far as I can tell, the only possible way to win is by curing the zombie virus. Beyond that, however, this was a surprisingly solid game.

*Tips* 1. Schools are AMAZING. 2. Big Farms are a top priority. 3. Target "hazardous" buildings directly outside the fort first. 4. Scouting the Evil Graveyard is a b***h.

I think the hard badge is just an advertisement for Kong+. The only way to get it is refresh anytime something bad happens.

Ok, so I had the perfect city, with plenty of food, hospitals and survivors. Then, one of my leaders decided to become the preacher of the city's church. Unfortunately for me (and for all my citizens), it was the Church of the Chosen Ones. Everything seemed normal, until one day, I was notified that two of my survivors were against "the church". I ignored them, and my preacher decided that they had to be sacrificed. After having them killed, the church members decided to celebrate their "holy victory"... first, their celebrations lasted one day... then, all my survivors stopped working, and rejoiced themselves in a massive celebration, that ended in ritual suicide. Thanks Church of the Chosen Ones, you destroyed my city! BTW, excellent game!
