Sweeeeet, got the hard badge. How? I chose a 12x12 because I think all zombies are evenly spread out in the beginning. On a 12x12 you therefor have more time before all of them are at your wall...
I restarted a few times to get a good begin position: farms, lab and mall/police next to the beginsquares (and preferably close to each other). I had the wide side of a big farm on upper right and small side of mall left to a lab on my upper left. these were my top priorities for reclaiming. I kept a small force reclaiming even without recruiting one or two survivors. (there are plenty of survivors to go round)

Even if I can't beat this game on high levels, it is definitley one of my new favorites. 5/5 for great storylines, nice gameplay, and just being a great game in general.

My village of one eyed pirate people is thriving well. Really should of researched telescopes instead of binoculars...

Day 6000: 2 survivors remain, full food, and 145% happiness, they are both leaders, no hospitals or labs remain, it has been like this for over 1000 days...apparently mating never occurs...my people are pandas

I wanna give a suggestion here. There should be people that join the last judgement gang because of the lack of Leaders. There should also be a new role : Councillors or how u spell it to make sure now and then people dont join the gang

i sent two soldiers on a scouting mission. One of them "managed" to shoot himself in the eye while cleaning his gun. *sigh*

Wow, this sounds really wrong... "Usually the stray dogs around here stay away from people, but today I found a friendly puppy that didn't seem too afraid of me. I'm going to bring him back to the fort. I named him Chance. +10 food." O_O

Disregard my last comment. Seems like the 4th ending IS possible, but you have to either be very patient, or send in 80 soldiers to the final square every 2 days.

This was entirely an accident, but apparently if you click Keep Playing you don't get the third badge. I decided to get each ending just because I could, and now I have to start a new game to get the badge.

I can imagin people refuseing to work and stealing food and so on in this kind of thing but I cant imagin people refuseing to scavenge food for thier friends when the population is starving to death.

It seems on hard if you fall at a loss its sooo hard to jsut break out that loss almost impossible, very frustrating game, things where going a breeze but approaching round 40 and beyond just.. rediculus happyness fell, I was trying my very hardest to cut down the large numbers but.. red squares are appearing everywhere now I dont think I can stop it tbh quiet realistic.

No, it's how you take it. Most people like it because A. ZOMBIEZZZ B. Stratagy C. It isn't all that easy... Unless your on easy.

It didn't delete my saved games I reckon.. However I also didn't get achievements awarded, even when I was like 'meh I'll play through a quick one on easy'..
And to all the people saying 'OMG harder/nightmare is stupid' I wish to say I liked every single turn of the failing tries I did there. BECAUSE it was that hard. I mean, zombie apocalypse IS nightmare, and the game makes you feel that on nightmare setting. Thumbs up for that.

WOW a very very nice game, its a brilliant idea with great potencial i had a lot of fun playing this game and I have some ideas to improve it:
The zombie atack could be more interactive and graphic by letting u see the battle development
Maybe that the survivors can win experience and be more effective in future missions by lvling up¡
More info in scout missions letting u know the amount of zombies in that area and food amount
More research options like improve weapons, faster building and more =)
Maybe an option letting u to build ur own city with ur rules to win and dificulty
